Here is the sketch of Huntress Wizard's pin for the Merchless Bracket 01: AT&FAC's upcoming Kickstarter!

(ignore the horrible colors and watermarks, did that as an attempt to curb design theft while I'm still working on it)

After finishing Betty/Magic Betty's pin, I decided to ride the high and keep working! This is Huntress Wizard's pin, as she won third place. It's going to have some Glow-in-the-Dark effects on her eyes and glowing arrow, there's going to be stained glass water, in reference to when she found Finn at the stream! And of course her "exceptional beasts" quote. It was a bit harder to come up with a musical quote for her, since she doesn't have an associated song like many of the other characters, so I just picked her coolest quote. Aro rep?

Gonna try to get the designs for the other pins done soon, and then work on all the vectors later.

Let me know what you guys think about this design! Try to reserve judgement until I release the finished, properly line-weighted and colored vector ^^

After all your input, I decided to simplify the B/MB pin, and now I've got the basic concept down to a place where I like it! It's going to have some really cool Glow-in-the-Dark screen print effects, and of course a reference to the "Everything in You" from Fionna and Cake! I cranked out this design in like, a day. I was really excited to drop the dead weight of the old B/MB pin, and work on something new! Gonna try to get the designs for the other pins done soon, and then work on all the vectors later.

Let me know what you guys think about this design! Try to reserve judgement until I release the finished, properly line-weighted and colored vector ^^'

Hi everyone! After a busy finals season, getting married, a month taken off for ArtFight, and finally a surgery, I am ready to return the "The Merchless Bracket 01: Adventure Time/Fionna and Cake" project!

I was unhappy with Betty's pin for a long time, but I've finally finished the design to the point where I'm pretty happy with it. The problem is: it now no longer fits the same aesthetic as the Fern pin I designed previously.

So I ask you all: should I make Fern's pin fancier, or should I simplify Betty's? I want them to all be relatively the same style. Not to mention, if we stuck with Betty's style, I would likely have to make the pins bigger, around 3"x3", which would likely be far more expensive, especially taking the danglies into account.

I don't even know if people remember this project after the long hiatus I took, but I'm going to try to kick back into gear as strong as possible! If you could reblog this to help get a larger sample size and more eyes on the project, that would be really appreciated! Thanks y'all!
