I will never get over the fact that, in addition to being born (as Ten) from his renewed love for humanity instilled by Rose, and directly from the love he felt for Rose by dying for her on a kiss, making him a being overflowing with love for her and humanity, to the point of wanting to become human himself, stop traveling, settle down, and live all the experiences of human life specifically with Rose, although the Doctor essentially took over the Rose's accent by regenerating, like a chick emerging from the egg, that he has become a man capable of being domestic, but also more specifically that he is formatted into one of these "pretty boy" archetypes with which he has already seen her flirting with. Hence the fact that he is so fixated on the idea of seeing what Rose thinks of his new body, and that the latter seems to please her enormously. Literally, he made himself for her in this 10th incarnation in every sense of the word, his identity revolves around her, and I find that great. Tentoo was just the final touch, allowing him to truly become human so they could be happy together.

can i be controversial? i find it interesting how hard fellow doctor/rose shippers deny that there is a power imbalance between the doctor and rose because of their age gap. there is. she is 19/20. the doctor has seen much more than she has or ever will, but the way the narrative evens this out as much as possible is by making rose a goddess of time and having her see all of time and space. but... she is still 19. people are allowed to feel discomfort with that writing decision just like you are allowed to not feel discomfort in it.
