哇这是我第一次接触到中国的 fandom，对这么多的网络特有用词一窍不通，实在太难为情了。(/o \)  I’m going to do this in both Chinese and English so that everyone can understand!  Especially since this is my first time encountering Chinese fandom, and it’s so confusing….

（比如说，“萌” 这个字 — moe — 在美国已经转化为贬义词了 — I usually use moe to describe “this underaged anime girl is objectified in a way that is slightly disturbing,” but I think in China it’s retained its original meaning of “cute as a budding child”)

不过大家喜欢我瞎编的 headcanon (脑洞和设定有什么区别？)，真是受宠若惊。(::hides under the table due to people noticing my headcanon::)

I don’t know how Chinese netiquette works, but I’m going to respond to a few comments!

OMG is the Chinese term for “Tumblr OP” really 汤主 (Soup Lord)? That is so cute, especially since my username translated to Chinese is 汤锅.  (I hope that’s why folks are calling me that…)

我觉得20年代财主的孩子，小名大概不会是吧唧吧… 再说，想想 Steve 叫 Bucky 八弟的样子，实在太可爱了….

[Question about why I went with the somewhat unconventional Badi name for Bucky]  I chose Badi for Bucky because (a) it made more sense for a landlord’s son’s nickname in the 1920s, and (b) the thought of Steve calling Bucky “8th Brother” is sooooooo cute.

[Question about CapChina during Cultural Revolution]  I totally cheated。哈哈，幸好文革时期，队长还是东北哪个洞里的冰棒，从而躲过这一关。Cap was able to escape the Cultural Revolution by staying as a Capsicle (same way mcu!Cap escaped all of the Cold War stuff)

[Translation: “Wait, this setup for the Winter Soldier isn’t quite right.  Shouldn’t it be — Badi is picked up by Americans in the Pacific Ocean, and made into the Summer Soldier.  Then Americans used him to create XX Airplane Incident and XXX train explosion incident and XXX guided torpedo incident…]

嗯，Bucky 被苏联捡去，主要是反映了苏联当时和美国冷战的对立。但是冷战时期的中国有….其它的问题，不能做类似的对比。Hmmm…. Well, the original Winter Soldier reflected the Cold War standoff between US and USSR.  China was … otherwise engaged during the Cold War, and I don’t think I could draw an easy parallel to the US-Soviet relationship re:China.

再说，我很喜欢冬兵的气氛－－俄罗斯残酷的冬天，是他们最后的一条防线.  The Winter Soldier aesthetic, for me at least, is so grounded in Russia’s winters and the idea of being Russia’s last defense.  Making it American Summer Soldier just doesn’t work.  (Plus it goes against Thomas Paine’s original Winter Soldier quote.)  冬兵这个名称也来自 Thomas Paine 的一句话－夏兵是指那些很轻易就放弃理想的人。

当然，最根本的原因是��为我真的不想把中美关系写成是绝对对立的（我毕竟是在美国长大的华裔呀！）But when you really get down to it, the current US-China relationship is something too complex for me to make into something so starkly antagonistic.  Part of it, too, is that as a Chinese-American (whatever that means), rebels against portraying the 2 most important countries of my identity in such a way. 

对不起我这样婆婆妈妈地说了那么多。我的脑洞能搏得一笑，真的很高兴。如果有谁需要我帮忙把中文的 fan comic 翻成英文，尽管问！ Ack sorry I blathered on for so much.  I’m really glad that the Chinese tumblr fandom enjoyed my comic!  ^____^
