A DESPERATE ROTHFRYE SHIPPER NEEDS SOME HELP

I need to know how Maxwell Roth’s mask (the golden one from the Final Act) looks. Screenshots, drawings, concept arts, it’s all good.

i mean on the one hand i enjoyed his assassination so much. it was the most fun. (it felt slightly more linear than the others, tbh, but i am such a hoe for theatres and for maxwell roth in general so i was having a damn good time.)

but on the other hand, he’s such an excellent character who i think was kind of wasted? he had a lot of really great potential, and i don’t know if content was cut or if this is literally all they ever produced for roth, but i love him a lot and want to see more of him.

(he’s a tremendous parallel to jacob. they’re both anarchists, one who doesn’t seem to understand the long term ramifications of his actions, and the other who does not care. i keep wanting to just pull jacob to one side and just ask him “ok, but what happens after you overthrow starrick’s control over london? what happens to your gangs and your urchins and your bought off peelers then?” and roth’s very existence is such a good ‘what-if’ potential outcome for jacob. the difference being that jacob is, ultimately, more moral, more emotional, than roth.)

but also like?? come on roth, all relationships need some compromise!

What's your favorite rothfrye fanfic? :)

My number 1 favorite is definitely The most dangerous of liasions by littleleaflost. It’s beautifully written and the author is a sweetheart. She also makes wonderful edits! 

My favorite rothfrye modern AU is Into the ring by bifrye. It’s long but the romantic and sexual tension between the characters is developed in a beautiful way and makes you addicted. 

I’d also recommend my beloved friend��s, Tim, fanfics, because they’re amazing! Sadly he hasn’t updated in a while :’( but maybe some nice feedback will change this ;) Check out his AO3 and Art tumblr! He’s also hella talented when it comes to drawing and made some beautiful rothfrye fanart.

More RothFrye analysis time!

I sort of wanted to touch upon this before, but seeing as I can take any information and look too much into it, it may have meant nothing. But since the release of Assassin’s Den with Jeffrey Yohalem (Syndicate’s writer), he says “Maxwell Roth was in love with Jacob and Jacob may have reciprocated” and that “the kiss wasn’t entirely one-sided”.

The word “may” is however useless, seeing as later on he talks about Jacob’s love interest, which isn’t a woman, as the male protagonist usually had this in previous games, so they took a different approach, and made Roth Jacob’s love interest.

So, onto the discussion. I’ll use gifs to support my arguments too (less FPS, black and white, etc, to fit required length). P.S I also talk a lot. :p
