What fandoms do you write for? Mainly Resident Evil, but I write also for the Arcane, Game of Thrones, Batman and Assassin's Creed Syndicate (incest) fandom. 4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? 1) The years we shared 2) Dirty little fairytale 3) Unravel me 4) Natural born sinner 5) All beauty destroyed 5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! Always! I always enjoy receiving them and being able to talk to people about the characters and their impressions of the plot. 6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? If I had to choose between those published I would say Forever is not for everyone, in which Alex suddenly dies before Albert and Wesker finds himself dealing with this sudden loneliness, as well as the hallucinations in which he sees his sister. 7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?  I wanna feel you from the inside, because Albert wins and both Weskers are alive and together. 8. Do you get hate on fics? Uhm, no, not really. There were those on Twitter who commented negatively saying that I wrote incest, so I sucked, but no big deal. 9. Do you write smut? Well, obviously yes. I believe it is a fundamental aspect of a relationship and a language through which the characters can express what words do not do. 10. Do you write crossovers? Nope! 11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?  Uhm, as far as I know, no. 12. Have you ever had a fic translated?  Yep! In Chinese and Russian! 13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?  No: I don't think I would do it well. 14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? Albert and Alex Wesker. Definitely Albert and Alex. The obsession, the brutality, the blood, the incest, the mutual possession, the total and absolute control that Wesker wants to exercise, Alex's sadistic and violent streak, the fact that they are a wonderful tangle of feelings and teeth and that they bite into each other - and the ramifications that sex can take: violent, raw, brutal, or tremendously and painfully gentle, nostalgic, needy. And then Wesker infected with the Uroboros? It's clearly a wedding invitation for me. 15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? At the moment I would like to conclude a fantasy AU on Resident Evil, but it requires a very large narrative and contextualization effort - the nations, the houses, the monsters, the creatures: I'm a very precise and methodical person so it could take me a long time 16. What are your writing strengths? Uhm, I don't know... maybe the sex and the feelings? 17. What are your writing weaknesses? The description of the environments. I think it should improve. 18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Yes. I'm Italian, so I did that for Excella. 19. First fandom you wrote for?  Batman. A long time ago. 20. Favorite fic you’ve written?  One, not yet published - violent and with torture, but which deeply explores the Weskers and which I will publish hopefully by the summer - and Lamb of God, for the sex scenes and the relationship between Alex and Albert. in case you haven't noticed, you can now also read crooked heartbeat on ao3 here, if you prefer. i think i'll still post it here as well, just because i like tumblr's formatting for some reason.

i've also gone back and tweaked the story ever so slightly; fixed some grammatical errors and whatnot. i also took out and shortened some of the in-game scenes because they felt too boring and dragged out when i went back and read them again; but the overall narrative has stayed the same.

anyhow, i hope to get more chapters out soon, and maybe, possibly, hopefully some other stories and fanfics as well,

The door knob turns - clac, clac; stops in the middle.

Evie catches that movement out of the corner of her eye, she bites the inside of her cheek to stifle an indecent moan.

"Miss Frye?"

He's still in her, Jacob, and brushes her lips with his fingers — he thrusts between her thighs in a languid, slow movement.

"It's Agnes." Evie murmurs, her breath hot, a soft, breathless note in her voice.

"Miss Frye, are you still sleeping?"

Evie is about to respond when Jacob thrusts with more force into her, snatches a curse from her mouth.

Clac clac.

“You." she hisses, staring at him.

Jacob smiles, leaning towards her neck and breathing — and she feels it too; the smell that permeates the carriage, a mixture of them and leather, extinguished embers and consumed cravings.

"Aye, better let her rest." mutters Agnes, giving up trying to open the door.

Jacob opens his mouth and Evie can feel his teeth brush against her skin - on her pulse, just below her jaw.

Something peeks out from under the door - a folded sheet.

"I leave here the message Mr. Green gave me this morning for you and Mr. Frye: aye, that irresponsible is not even on his sofa." Agnes mutters, farther and farther away from them — her footsteps on the steps that divide the two carriages, followed by a second door that opens and closes.

Evie grabs Jacob's face in her hands, lifting him off her chest and forcing him to look at her.

"You are bad."

Jacob reserves to her an indolent smile, brushing a lock of hair from her forehead.

"Me, dear sister?”

Evie bites Jacob's forefinger, licking and sucking.

"Yeah, you." she repeats, reversing their positions and staring at him from above - the faint light of dawn slipping over her body, painting it in gold and white.

Jacob laughs, and it's a loud-free sound, which he doesn't even bother to hide.

"Nothing is real, everything is permitted: this gives us some discretion, don't you think, Evie?"

In the center of her chest that murmur continues, tireless.

Don't know if you're into games, but I recommend you check out Assassin's Creed Syndicate for the relationship between the main protags, the Frye twins (brother/sister). They're not "canon", but the game has so much subtext/chemistry between them that I prefer shipping them over the sister Evie's "canon" love interest. Hell, the database implies she eventually leaves him to raise her brother's granddaughter in her old age, spending the rest of her life with him. Just check out the vids on YT!

Anon #2: Hello! I love your wordpress blog -- I can spend literal hours slowly going through your blog, and even read pairings of shows I've never watched because your posts are entertaining! I see that you're still active, so may I ask some things? 1. What do you think of the Frye twins from Assassin's Creed: Syndicate? Once I found out about them this year, I just had to look for your opinions on this but alas you had none -- you only had an ask about it a long time ago!

You are so kind, Anon! It makes me so happy to know that you enjoy the posts on this blog, even the ones about fandoms you aren't in. I'm so sorry you had to wait so long for a reply to your ask!

Anon #3: I don't know if anyone recommend this to you, but if you're into the Assassin's Creed video games, in one of the games called Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the main protags are a pair of twins (brother/sister) and their relationship is AMAZING! It's not canon, but their relationship was one of the best aspects of the game. Even if you're not a gamer yourself, I recommend checking out the cutscenes on YT. There's a lot of us in the fandom who love them as a couple.

Anon #4: If fans recommended Assassin's Creed games, so I also recommend you check out the novelizations for them, particularly the ones for Brotherhood and Syndicate. They don't contain a lot of insights for the pairings (and the author's writing isn't the best), but for Syndicate's novel titled Underworld, there are a few scenes focusing on Evie and Jacob, and there is A LOT of subtext. For example, the books says the Frye twins share a preternatural bond.

It makes me so happy to see so many Evie and Jacob shippers!!!

I haven't played the game so I don't have any comments of my own, but I would like to watch some cut scenes some time. (I'll take video links if anyone has recommendations!) I'm very intrigued by these novelizations, which are probably the most approachable form of Jacob/Evie's story for non-gamers. Twins with a preternatural bond ? That's my jam. Plus, look at them. Just look.
