So far all of my bookmark designs in art nouveauish style. I like some more than others but for an experiment I think I'm doing a good job. I still love Syl as my favourite and she was the first I drew. I hope to keep drawing more cosmere characters from different books!

look i know the szeth prologue carries a lot of introductory information as to the magic system and how it can be used (and if there is one thing the cosmere in general excels at it is using the rules of a hard magic system in interesting ways for fight scenes) but it is so crazy that his internal monologue is so full of grief for what he is about to do and his first spoken line is "what am i? i'm sorry" and then he starts killing people in such an overcomplicated rube goldbergian way. why'd he lash a guy to the ceiling above an upright spear and just wait (fearspren spawning up around them) until the lashing broke and he impaled himself. you didnt have to do that man no one was around to see it

There are people who don’t like warbreaker 😩. How? Why? It’s one of my favourite cosmere books! I understand it’s a bit slow but the set up is so so worth it for the amazing payoff at the end! And it’s just so so good on a reread. Knowing what you know of denth and Tonk fah. Of Lightsong and Llarimar! It’s just a wonderful book and I get sad when people don’t like it or find it boring.

A character being totally canon LGBTQ+ and disabled was not required to be in this competition. Please check qualifications and propaganda before asking why a character is included.

Shallan Davar-The Stormlight Archive

Qualifications:

She's bisexual (word-of-god and heavy implication in text) and has DID (clear in the text). Her thirst for both men and women is somewhat legendary, as is her fractured mental state.

Propaganda:

She's bi and has a nuanced representation of DID, along with other mental illness and severe trauma. She's also a rogue-slash-magical-knight with powers of light, illusion, and bad jokes under horrible pressure. She's cute, a great artist, and a great murderer too.

Anything Else?:

There might be other submissions of her (who knows); if they provide different image selections, please refrain from using one where her features look more white than East Asian, as some of the official art is whitewashed, and likewise lots of the fanart. Such is the burden of book fandoms. Anyway, thanks.

Propaganda:

He's so cool. He builds his own prosthetics that interface with the prosthetics he built for his disabled dragon. First viking to ride a dragon. Chief that brought a new era of prosperity to Berk.

Probably one of the most popular physically disabled characters. And although I personally am not disabled, I have heard a bunch of disabled ppl say that they like him as rep. As he pretty much just exists with his disability. It is not ignored. He doesn't not always function the same as people with 2 regular legs. But it is not made into a tragedy. He just has a prosthetic leg after an accident which caused him to loose one. And nobody really makes a big deal out of it, which makes sense in the society they live in. jasnah makes me a bit insane because she wants to act all aloof and unaffected but if you take a step back and look at her actions it's actually ridiculously easy to see how she cares so so so so much. talking to the assassin in secret because she doesn't want her family to worry. paying a huge amounts of money for liss to only keep watch because even though she suspects that *the wife to the direct heir of the throne* is actually a traitor she doesn't want to do that to her little brother. willingly putting herself in danger so she can eradicate any threats to citizens who are unable to protect themselves in the way she can. goes out of her way to solve all of her ward's problems even after she knew shallan had been lying and planning to betray her since day one. and on top of that being worried that shallan (who, once again, had been planning to cheat her all along) would not be happy with the solution she found because she doesn't want her to be unhappy. jasnah kholin i love you.

Hoid is such a weird character if only for his apparent affinity for Roshar of all places in the Cosmere. If I were a worldhopper, "weekly hurricane planet stuck in the middle ages" is not necessarily where I'd want to be.
