the last book you opened: too good to be true by Prajakta Koli! a classmate bought it to read it and gushed to me about it without spoilers because I was technically the only other person who was interested in reading books and gave it to me after she finished so I was like "sure why the hell not." I've not finished it yet tho

earbuds, headphones, or nothing: I've never gone more than 4 hours without my earbuds. if they injected my music into my veins it still wouldn't be close enough.

the last place you went other than home: college obviously, but also went alone to a cafe the day before called Arabica Kefi that had the most delicious also incredibly expensive but worth it pesto pasta. but like if this means actual travel then I went to Mumbai a month or so ago for my brother's wedding this is why I haven't posted at all lmao

a colour that looks good on you: blue. I have a lot of clothing - casual and for outside - that's blue which I'm incredibly comfortable in and also looks really cute in. ALSO YOU LOOK REALLY GOOD IN REALLY DARK COLORS @a-fox-studies YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY

once again, my time is only my class time, which was really fun and incredibly traumatic at the same time ahah. if i have to look to a button anytime soon i'll scream (yeah, a button... idk why that's the problem in the circuit but it is)

Anyways, then i went back to my parents' place and had dinner with my best friends! <33 we had Poke bowls, which I never had before, but it was pretty good! Also, my copy of Inferno finally arrived!! Can't wait to read it!!

I was criminally early at uni today because I woke up too late to go to sleep again or study but too early for my lectures to begin so I really should’ve known today was gonna be an awful day

my first two hours was just eng. drawing which was really fun, followed by an hour of electrical where I just solved some numerical questions and talked to my friends because my professor was really chill

I had another lecture after this but that professor didn’t show up at all thirty minutes in AGAIN (same prof. as yesterday lmao), so we walked out to get pani puri. I enjoyed it too much to take pictures lol

on the drive home however I got yelled at for being an awful driver by some random man on a bike because he almost hit me when I had to stop before another bike hit me on the side, and then got home to get yelled at again for things I had no control over so the day ended awfully to the point that I just went to bed lol

I woke up at 3am fucking finally, and the studying I got done was GLORIOUS [I usually sleep really early, almost right after I get home from uni to be able to wake up at 3am and while I haven't been consistent with it I know once I do I will be unstoppable]

watched some valorant valkyrae vods in the background while studying math and writing some record work for chemistry. also basked in the joy of being awake at an ungodly hour on my own terms and having time to myself before the chaos of uni

speaking of, spent my first two hours of uni in my chemistry lab - we did an experiment to calculate viscosities of three liquids and it was my turn to pipette stuff in my group so my mouth tasted like acetone for a long while today

this was followed by a math lecture and I'm having alot of fun with the content of it this semester, I don't know if its the change in professor or I just locked in or something yes I've been posting my math notes three days straight because math is the only subject I have consistently good notes in T_T

had a one credit subject lecture after that but the professor didn't show up so I just left class to go home and take my mom to the grocery store!! we took an auto for this one, but now that I know the way, I get to take her in the car next time :D

Today was such a weird day, i swear i wasn't made for 8h of classes. But oh well, my test went pretty well, saw some friends, had fun talking to them, and then went home and decided to have an early night and just chill, I was really tired from class

woke up super early to drive to uni, park in a spot in an alleyway that I’d negotiated with the pani puri stand aunty that usually feeds me and my friends when class is over, and walk so far to my classes curse you uni

we finished the first module [the whole syllabus is five modules] in both english and math today back to back, and this means I need to make my cheat sheets and notes in both those subjects soon. I need to also study in advance because I’m gonna be absent for a whole week of classes because of my brother’s wedding so I really need to lock in one of these days T_T

we have lectures till lunch only this week and next week’s monday because of a function in college that I usually don’t attend because it’s honestly too hot and too much of a hassle to just stay there till 5, but today I attended it and it was fun even though traffic at 5pm was stressful

driving lesson today was CRAZY, two different cars almost hit me and istg neither of those were my fault. I guess that's what you can expect of driving during rush hour.

Classes were chill, my prof finally gave us the material for out instrumentation project and then he showed us how to weld the stuff (unfortunately my materials didn't have too much to weld, so I didn't have a chance to try it, but my friend did and i was so jealous😭)

then didn't study at night AT ALL, bc almost all of my housemates went to the kitchen at the same time so we ended up chatting from 8pm to 1am💀💀 tho it was a lot of fun, and one of them ended up letting me borrow Funny Story by Emily Henry, which im so excited to read :))

I have an announcement... This will be my last day of the productivity challenge. and also for my blog. My health is getting in the way of everything and I want to prioritize my health over everything else. So I will be dropping out of uni. It has been a great two years, but I must take a break and rest and focus on getting better.

my uni sometimes feels more like a school than a full-fledged university sometimes.

after months of me parking inside the campus parking lot — I asked the security guards that hang around there who said yes and we greet each other almost daily — today they’re telling me I’m not allowed, and that they don’t have space for the staff when I’ve seen like three other students apart from me get cars to uni. THREE.

they’re out here fighting — and I mean fighting, there were five faculty members standing ominously near the gates like they were back-up to the main guy who was leading all of this — for maybe FOUR parking spots, when most of the professors I’ve seen come in bikes. BIKES. ugh

I was told to find a different parking spot tomorrow, or else they’d fine me or worse, so I was stressed the entire day just thinking of where I could park my car safely so I could attend my lectures. I did end up making some arrangements in a mostly secluded alleyway where a lot of cars are parked, just across the main road of my college but I’m so stressed because I do NOT want to go back to autos after tasting the freedom of driving myself to uni

after that horrible morning though, my lectures of the day went as usual. also if anyone’s wondering if this is my uni’s way of an april fool’s prank — unfortunately, I went and confirmed this with the vice principal and another important official so it’s true and I can do nothing about it T_T
