That's a wrap!
As the sun sets at the end of the weekend, it's also the time to call a wrap on the 48 hour campaign development phase of #STUDIOLIFELINE.
Together, the teams from The Creative Arts House, Offshoot Creative, Halo Communications, as well as talented photographer David French and Erica Serena, bloggers Janine Ripper and Rhonda Chapman, journalist Nina Levy and a host of other amazing contributors have come together both personally and professionally.  We have learnt, listened, talked, taught, innovated and salivated (the team's got to eat, right?!), and together, we have created magic.
The objective of the #STUDIOLIFELINE project weekend was to open to doors of our creative co-working space to the community, and invite them to share their inspiration around the wonderful work that Lifeline WA brings to the community.  We then took those ideas and turned them into a campaign that will be used over the festive season to promote Lifeline's mission, and raise much needed funds for this incredible cause.
And we're proud to say that we've done it!  The campaign that the team has developed is something that we're all extremely proud of, that we feel represents Lifeline WA's place in the community, and will inspire people to support the organisation.
Stay tuned for updates - the next few weeks will see us continue to work away on certain elements of the campaign, so we will update the blog and Twitter (@studiolifeline) with more information and a launch date in the very near future.
So with that, we would like to thank each and every person who contributed in their own way - your participation in this unique event was hugely appreciated.
Time to put our office back together, head home and prepare for the week ahead!

Sunday, Sunday...
Another massive day at #TheLoveNest with the return of the STUDIOLIFELINEr's and several vonulnteer contributors who have brought some invaluable insight into the world of mental health issues across Australia.
This morning's #STUDIOLIFELINE tasks have revolved around the progression of the campaign development, from the content driven emotional connection that mental hygiene creates within a person, to the marketing/community relations strategy to drive the campaign into the community.
We have our concept set and are now ready to break out into groups to start fleshing out the campaign details, so we can bring it all together this afternoon.  Ready... set... BREAK!

Saturday Wrap-Up
Well, Saturday saw us exhausted but running high on inspiration and adrenalin (as well as coffee from Bean Talkin’).
There is nothing like volunteering your skills for a cause, and what better cause than Lifeline WA, especially in the lead up to the festive season.
Which leads us to one of the topics we brainstormed today - Christmas.
“Christmas for a lot of people is a time for celebrating with family and friends and a time to relax. However, for some, the holiday season can heighten feelings of isolation or loneliness, and issues relating to financial problems, illness, relationships or loss can intensify stress associated with this time of year.” – Lifeline WA
This got us thinking about ways we can all step up and help others during this period.
Some of the ideas we had were:
Pick up the phone and call someone – in this day and age with our reliance on technology, many of us admitted to not picking up the phone.  When did you last speak to someone on the phone, just to say hi?
Give a card including a personal message straight from the heart;
Tell someone you care;
 Listen without judgment – sometimes that’s all someone needs;
Give more hugs – on attending a wellness retreat with Nicky Howe a few weeks back, I learnt all about 6 second hugs where your hearts connect for 6 seconds.  Try it.  It really works.
What can you do to make a difference in someone’s like this Christmas?
* If things just seem too much, you can talk to a Lifeline telephone counsellor on 13 11 14, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
