The Evening Library is a new project from Studio Shtot! If you couldn't tell from the fact we publish a magazine, we love to read and we wanted the chance to discuss the things we read with others. We decided to start a book club, starting with David Szalay's new acclaimed novel Flesh.
The graphics for the event were inspired by the colors in the novel's cover, which feature rich reds, browns, and (appropriately) flesh tones.
If you happen to be in Toronto on June 11th, come and join us to discuss books over a glass of wine with like-minded readers. You can RSVP or just show up!

Commuting looks different for everyone in Toronto. For Henry Lewis it looks different from season to season. When it’s warm, Henry’s exploring new parts of North York by bike, and when it’s cold he’s resting on a nice warm bus. Read his commuting pros and cons in Shtot Magazine Issue No. 5!

Everyone has a unique experience of their city. For the members of the Studio Shtot team, we all experience Toronto in our own interesting ways. Throughout February, we documented those experiences and places in a collage of oil pastel sketches. See the Spring Group Project and much more in Shtot Magazine Issue No. 5!
We’d like to thank our incredibly generous supporters for helping to make this project possible. Help us do more projects like this by heading to our Buy Me a Coffee page.
Projects in order: Katherine Desourdie Alex Forsyth Raphael Gutteridge Henry Lewis Thomas Spoletini Victoria Zhang

To try and fix the problems with our housing supply, he designed a new model for apartment buildings in Toronto.
