The internet and the university are the complete opposite in positive and negative ways

The internet is constantly on the tail of what is new and trying to make good discussion around it but always ends up being half thought out and lacking any model of theory and critical intersectional analysis.

The university is great at tackling big problems, complex frameworks and taking an actual nuanced look into matters but fails to supply an answer or resolution because “more work must be done”.

One will be looking for an answer so quickly it half arses it while the others being so meticulous that it will never be ready.

What im saying is that universities should belong to the people, academics need to touch grass and get involved in movements, and sociology and anarchism could be besties if we let them.
