The numbers next to the names have no significance beyond ease of navigation for me for when I check their progress in the future. You should look at the disclaimers instead and focus on those. Occasionally I will update these with new info, including new fundraisers, and the amount of cash that's been raised. Check in regularly on the original post when you see it being reblogged. In all likelihood once its reached you it's already outdated. Also please don't overlook the Sustainable Aid options near the bottom! For those who don't know, Rafah Crossing is closed. Meaning Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are technically not allowed to go into Egypt through Rafah Crossing (with exceptions, like holding a foreign passport) so in order to evacuate, Palestinians need to bribe Egyptian border security officials. The standard price used to be about $5000 - 7000 per person but some Palestinians have been told to pay $10,000 per person just to cross the border, forget other expenses like food and boarding.

For a group of people who are enduring genocide and the complete destruction of their homes that money is impossible to raise without the help of fundraising. That and the collapse of the UNRWA is the reason you're seeing so many Gofundmes nowadays. The entire aid system is gone with the exception of local aid organisations that have limited reach.

So if you see a credible fundraiser, please at the very least share it so it can reach more people. This list by @el-shab-hussein is a good place to start.

hi im a transsexual living in NH. there have been many anti-trans & anti-LGBT bills suggested & passed already in 2024. another round of voting will be taking place TOMORROW (FRIDAY APRIL 5TH) for FIVE different bills. if you or anyone you know would be willing to write or call to NH state senators, i would so greatly appreciate that

new hampshire already has a bad reputation for being the "least trans friendly" part of new england. don't let that mindset reach others—this is where i live. this is where i grew up. this is where i am transitioning. i have trans loved ones here. our state motto is "live free or die." that includes living free as a trans person

news documentary channels in french on youtube

hi everyone! recently i've been listening to news documentaries for listening practice. the language is understandable and it exposes you to a bunch of different topics. i'll update the list as i find more!

arte: on the shorter side in comparison with the videos from the other channels, varied reporting on lots of different topics, but i'm especially a fan of the episodes about social media and the internet.

food story: exactly what it sounds like, documentaries about food, how it's made, restaurants, etc.

750g tv: this one is similar to food story, in case you want more varied options.

ailleurs - reportages voyages: travel and tourism, in a lot of their videos they go to french communities in other countries to see why they moved to that place, what they are doing in the local community, etc.

a decouvert: this channel is about finances and the economy, but for some reason i really like their videos on how supermarkets run.

reportages et investigations: this channel isn't as specialized as the others, but as a result has a large variety of topics to choose from.
