bullet journalling. it is a creative outlet for people as well as a way for people to be productive. after many requests, here is a guide to bullet journalling to help you along the way of your bullet journal journey <33
what is bullet journalling?
a customisable organisation system which can consist of ur to-do list, sketchbook, diary and notebook (or even all of the above)
also known as âbujoâ bc of âbuâ from bullet and âjoâ from journal
check out this video here for the original bullet journal video by ryder carroll
supplies
a penÂ
a notebook/binder/journal (depending on ur preference eg. dotted, grid or lined paper as well as budget)Â
a highlighter and / or a marker of your choiceÂ
other decorative supplies eg. washi tape & photos
the supplies will depend on how much u want to decorate ur bujo!
bullet journal spreads
note: a bujo spread is a two pages of a notebook whereas a layout is the style / design of the spread.Â
index (to refer to when finding pages)
key (used to identify what each bullet means)
future log (events that are happening in the current year)
monthly spread (consisting of events happening on the current month)
weekly spread (consisting of events happening on the current week)
daily spread (consisting of events happening on the current day)
additional spreads eg. movies & tv shows to watch, books to read,Â
trackers (often used to track basic habits such as exercising, brushing ur teeth, drinking water and more)Â
advice
itâs ok to make a mistake in ur bullet journal !!!!!!!!Â
please donât feel intimidated by other peopleâs bullet journalsÂ
do what works for u (eg. for me personally, habit trackers donât work at all)
donât be afraid to experiment between different layouts in your bullet journal
if the bullet journalling method doesnât work for u after continuous experimenting, itâs allg :))
inspiration
check out my bujo tag here!

This is my trick for remembering trigonometric values. Forget memorizing those little charts or triangles, this is so much easier.Â
I learnt this in 10th grade from my favorite teacher (who wasnât actually my maths teacher at the time) and I still used it for the rest of High School and will probably continue to use it in University.
So what do you do? You draw the chart in the picture. That one.Â
OK, but how do you read it? Like a table. (If youâre unfamiliar with radians, do not worry. It also works in degrees, just write: 0, 30, 45, 60, 90 instead.)
For example, if you want to find the sin(pi/2), you simply start at sin(x) and then move over until youâre at pi/2 (or 90 degrees). It says sqrt(4). Now you put that over 2, and you have it. Sin(pi/2) = (sqrt(4))/2, also known as 2/2, or 1.Â
If you want to find the cos(pi/4), you do the same thing: start at cos(x), move until (pi/4). It says sqrt(2), now put that over 2, and you have cos(pi/4) = sqrt(2)/2.
For tan(x), just take the sin(x) value and divide it by the cos(x) value!
So tan(pi/6) = sqrt(1) / sqrt(3) = 1/sqrt(3).
I find this so easy to remember because the first line starts at zero and increases, and the second line starts at 4 and decreases. It works for any values (yes, even ones above pi/2!) and itâs so simple. I encourage you to start by writing it out on every paper, when youâre studying, and on your exams.Â
