I did not realize that John Astin was still alive! He's 95!
I also did not know until a few weeks ago that he is not Sean Astin's biological father.

random anecdote for father's day: one time during a long car ride my dad asked me, "you're familiar with Murphy's Law, right?" and i was like "isn't that the one about how anything that can go wrong will go wrong?" and he said "yeah, exactly" and i said "why do you ask?" and he went "well, have you heard of Cole's Law?" and i said "no, actually, what's that?" and he said "it's mostly lettuce and carrots with a little dressing mixed in"

Costura invisible para que no se vea las puntadas de hilo en cualquier tejido. Os he puesto en el blog otro vídeo con más técnicas.
Obviously it is for sewing some fabric and you don't want the thread to be seen.
And for those who ask why in a tomato, it's because of its thin, transparent skin, where you can see it is held underneath, hence the name "transparent stitching."

#Idk if he means like we bought grunge on vinyl BITD but honestly very few of us did#it was hard to find anything new on vinyl post 1990#but I guess smaller labels were putting it out but still it must have been small numbers#vinyl was Not Where It Was At#and you can say true grunge peaked in the late 80s but again for the very few who were in the PNW region#so you can't say Gen Xers as a general thing and grunge as a late 80s niche thing bf it became mainstream#we're gen xers of course we're old and can't remember 35 years ago!

I'm disqualifying the peanut butter chocolate due to my peanut allergy. Out of the rest the cherry cordial is easily the worst.
#D followed very closely by F#I've gotten a little beyond my hate for shredded coconut#I still think it's a bit like shredded plastic but I will eat it in a candy like this so I don't throw it out#but the cherries are yick

well I did not finish cleaning my kitchen but I got all the counters done (if not yet all reorganized/stuff returned/put away). Hopefully tomorrow I can get the microwave area and dinette table done, put stuff away, then do the floor later. There *seem to be* fewer ants too, which is one of the main goals.
I did some more reading, my German lessons, and now I'm gonna shower. Probably read some more.
Tomorrow afternoon I start cat visits (which will be twice daily starting Tuesday) and then Thursday I have a long weekend with The Weens. and if the weather permits I can walk to the cat's house from The Weens' in the morning at least.
I need to visit our newly remodeled library which reopened a few weeks ago, maybe I'll walk over there tomorrow. It sounds nice, and there is "maker space" which is cool.
The Inquirer had an article about the protest I was at yesterday and they featured, photo and all, the woman who was my night school oil painting instructor nearly 20 years ago! She's 83 and looks great! She was really nice, and a good artist.
Also featured was a guy in a Tshirt that read "Hey Fetterman! You should be here instead of licking boots!" which is like *chef's kiss* Fuck that guy. I feel badly about his health issues but I think it may have affected his mental abilities and I also think he should step down. Maybe we can elect a real senator. (I wanted Malcolm Kenyatta but he was never going to get the votes so I went for Fetterman way back when in the primary.)
anyway. shower. read. sleep.
