I know Anakin's desilusions of grandiosity are the talk of the town, but something something Padmé dehumanization of herself as a result of so much survivor trauma and so many close death calls. She's the senator with the highest murder attempts on her, she gets assesination attempts weekly and brushes them off, and she keeps chasing for justice to the point of collition, she sees people dying around her all the time but she keeps on living and living, at some point she's flirting with death as much as Anakin does in the battlefield. And something something, Anakin, ironically, in his extreme trauma and fear of death taking the people he loves, being the only one to say "You're a person, and your name is Padmé, not queen nor senator, and you're as fragile as any other live being" Something something the irony that person that most adored her being also the one who saw her as a person Something something Anakin commiting atrocities not for a goddess, no for a politician no for royalty, for a person. Something something how contrarian it is, that Anakin sees himself as a weapon, and Padmé's extreme guilt becoming what seems like superiority.

And particularly here in this comic something something how easily Anakin can walk through that storm Padme has created, how easily he can enter into her headspace and she doesn't flinch, doesn't blink, she isn't even surprised because she expects him and he's the only one that knows and can reach her like this, they're just having a conversation, something something.

Something.

I swear this was the end of me, so idc if i'm rambling, this comic kept me up awake for more than one day, because the power would go out every single time i sat to work on it, damnit

Hi everyone,

If you haven’t already heard, the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement has now called for a full boycott of Disney+. In the spirit of Star Wars at its most anti-imperialist, we will be continuing to follow BDS’ guidance. This means our planned Acolyte season 1 wrap-up episode is canceled, and any plans for covering other Disney+ shows like Andor season 2 or Skeleton Crew are suspended until BDS ends the boycott.

If you’d like to know BDS’ reasoning for escalating to this boycott, you can read about it here. While it is focused on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Captain America 4, the specific Disney+ boycott does affect Star Wars. 

In addition, we’d like to direct you to donate or boost the fundraiser for Mohammad Matar’s family to escape Gaza.

Even after the Acolyte, we were already going to announce our move to cover more non-Star Wars media. Our plan moving forward is to have a series of stand alone episodes that center different types of media that we’ve been wanting to talk about, plus the classic RuPalp’s games and bits you know and love. Keep an eye on our social media for announcements on our direction and opportunities (like polls) to tell us what you want to hear!

Part 1 of clone trooper references

I wanna be a nice person and help the people in need, so i'm uploading all of my 3d clone models i've made in the past couple of weeks for you to use as a reference (for me, finding the best animated style clone trooper references is the hardest part of the job lol). These are NOT 100% ACCURATE (and definitely not perfect lol), especially the helmets, but ive tried my best to make it as similar to the animated tcw style as possible

These are all for free of course, and i'm gonna keep uploading them, cuz i have a bunch (almost for all seen/known except for clone commandos, but all is not lost that is delayed they say), but if you're interested in getting the 3D version of the models, shoot me an email at: nagy.bogcsa@gmail.com.(Side note: these are game ready assets (not all of them(yet), so you can use them for your animation, or put it in a game engine and do whatever the f you want with them lol. A lot of time, hard work, sweat and tears and all that went into making those models game ready, and I don’t want to give them out for free, only to see them up on sketchfab or Etsy for sale the next day. It's not easy to land a droid army on Coruscant, so I don't get the pleasure of predictability too often. Rex: ... Fox: Instead, I have to deal with the citizens of this planet, too many of which don't want us here. They shout at us, abuse us, and have even started a market for us. You know...the skin and organ market. Yes and no. Yes, they have actually harvested our skin. No, I don't mean literal skin when I say skin market. Think collars and chains. How many times have you stood between a threat and the people you're duty bound to protect knowing at least one of those people have spat on your men, attacked them, used them like toys, or captured and sold them? My only comfort is knowing I can turn on them the second they're labeled a traitor to the Republic. And I can pick the worst of them off when there are no witnesses. Cody: ...That's-- Fox: On top of that, I have encountered creatures of nightmares because they just dwell in the bowels of this rotting planet or some pieces of garbage brought them here to sell. I'm the boss of the people who are supposed to do those jobs. He is the sole reason I will only sleep when I am dead. Fox: The second worst is 99% of the senators. Entitled, egotistical pricks. I would rather be distributed to desperate families looking for organs than catch the eye of any senator. Thire has to remember which ones show a little too much interest in the clones because we are at their mercy. He can't allow a shiny anywhere near them. If a Coruscanti attacks a clone, it's considered damaging government property, making them a criminal. If a senator attacks a clone, it's considered You better do what is best for the Republic and shut your kriffing mouth. Because treating a clone like a complimentary gift isn't betraying the Republic. Risking one of the Republic's delicate alliances is. Cody: Force, Fox... Fox: I deal with all of that while maintaining an impressive record of mission successes. That is why I have so many awards. Wolffe: ...You have awards, but do you want a hug? Fox: Desperately. All day. Every day.
