Can we just talk about Millie coming back for a second?(Or even more)

First of all, I sort of miss her, (not that I don't love Emma, it's just, she's the first Rhaenyra we were introduced to and it's nice to see her again) seeing her again brings back the time when it was all tourneys and match makings and she was the rightful heir to the throne and bringing Alicent and the older Rhaenyra together sort of also brings all of that together in a nostalgic bow.

Second of all, no matter how creepy her words or actions were, sewing up the little boys head, I'd like to talk about why it was her that Daemon saw in whatever hazy delusions that was. I like to think that it is because she is the Rhaenyra he fell in love with. The one who tested him on Dragonstone. The one that he did mischievous activities with. The one he comforted when her mother and brother died. She was the one he wanted to marry. That doesn't mean to say that he doesn't love Rhaenyra when she got older, it's just, she grew. In those ten years they were apart, they became different people to the ones they knew. She is different compared to the young Rhaenyra he last saw and holds a memory of love to. She grew, became a mother, holds a proper place in court, she matured out of her young ways. the one Daemon fell in love with so him seeing the young Rhaenyra he fell for, is maybe a reminder of why he does what he does. A justification that he himself, in his mind retorts and maybe he even feels some remorse for his actions because of the fight they had before he left Dragonstone. He did it all for her and the means and ways he did so are not the best way to go about it but he did it for her. in his mind, maybe he thought that at least the younger Rhaenyra would see that he did it for her but after their fight, I think he just wants some comfort now (me peeking my head from the masses to volunteer as tribute). If not to console himself from the guilt of the death of a child, then at least as acknowledgement that he is doing this for a reason. For Rhaenyra. I believe he doesn't want the throne. He has long accepted that and we see that by how he continues to help those who rightfully own the throne.

haha It's me, I'm back!

well by back I mean I opened my laptop again and am in the mood for some typing (can't even call it writing bc what I try and try to do is just not ehehheh). I know haven't been the most active lately besides the occasional reblog and comment here and there (those are all I feel comfortable with doing when I'm using my phone so post like this need to be done on a big screen) and I am terribly sorry about that.

There are some stories I need to catch up on and some mentions I need to get back to and I just want to say thanks to those folks who still tag me in their fic posts even when I don't interact much (or at all) and I am really sorry about that. I feel some guilt over that so as soon as I have the time and mood, I will get right on those, but still, to the people who continue to acknowledge my presence, Thank you! so much. I know i don't show it often and that is my flaw but to the strangers on this site that I've gotten close with, you mean quite a lot to me so thanks lovelies

long story short, I will be catching up on stories, trying to write type, getting back to some comments and mentions and I love you ALL!

the fact that when I watched the daemon/rhaenyra why did you kill jaehaerys scene I was agreeing with daemon's points more than rhaenyra's

like daemon in the show has wanted nothing more than to be trusted, by his brother, by rhaenyra and both of them have confessed to him that they don't. the two people he has loved more than ANYONE else DON'T trust him. but he still loves them so what can he do but become a weapon for them to wield, to show them that they have reason to trust him.

like rhaenyra you weren't made heir because viserys would see you on the throne, you were chosen to have daemon removed and yet when you went to him and told him to kill you he didn't, he left and went to the stepstones. he's done nothing but show himself as accepting of rhaenyra's reign since that moment but you CAN'T TRUST HIM.

you brung up terms of the deal, the terms that would've made your children with him hostages, literal tools to be killed if either one of you ever tried to see them again probably, if you even dared to step away from dragonstone. those fucking terms that would've made aegon and viserys fucking sansa stark, always at the whism of king aegon the usurper, otto fucking hightower and ser crispin cunt. yeah those terms were so good I couldn't see the red flags everywhere, because daemon was right it would be better to feed those boy to his fucking dragon because at least them they would be free and not imprisoned for all their lives

what fucking world are you living in, maybe he didn't do the exact thing you wanted him to do but apparently according to the show it was a 'mistake' 🙄 (as if this show doesn't have enough already). he went and did EXACTLY what you said rhaenyra, why are you questioning him, why do you think he's been doing this for his right to the throne when he's literally not been heir for 20 years now and he's not wanted to be BECAUSE HE FUCKING WANTS TO BE APPRECIATED not king, not heir, just trusted enough to be your partner, to be your weapon, to be pointed at the thing to kill and to do it, to be trusted enough as your husband and partner and another targaryen with a dragon to get you onto that throne, maybe not as bloodlessly as YOU want it but securely enough not to be usurped again

that is all he wants, trust, belief and action
