In between snoozes, I heard a kaching again. Waking up to a sale, I'll take it!
I've now got a tournament with five sales. And when you factor in all the taxes and fees that are taken out, I've made enough sales to cover the cost of my car battery this month!
I still wouldn't mind making extra income to cover some groceries. Or most likely, because I probably won't make $200 or $300, Make a little extra side money so that I can take my kid out to see a movie once in awhile. Or we can get McDonald's at the end of a hard week.
Money is going to start to get tight soon so having a little bit of money here and there. Maybe I'll be able to take my kid to the zoo!
Well, whatever. Any income is good income. Thank you for your support! Happy stitching everyone!
The month is almost done, but the 20% sale is still going!

Here are a sampling of pictures for those who are photosensitive to flashing things on videos! 🩷. This is again, to let everyone know that I've got a 20% off a sale going on all month in honor of pride!
Come take advantage of the pride month sale! Treat yourself to a whole lot more than just lgbtqia cross stitch patterns! Here, you will see a sampling of just a small bit of what I have in my shop!
And yes. I need you to double check that the link is correct! Because guess what, it should be! That link above will take you directly to my Etsy store, and the whole entire store is 20% off! Let me know that the link works, and let me know what pattern is your favorite!
Your purchases this month will help fund a new car battery for a fellow rainbow friend. Which is me. Because my car battery died last week before I even left the fucking driveway. We had to order a new one from Costco because it was the best battery we could get for the price. It'll be here next week.
Any additional sales will go towards maybe groceries, bills, or being able to have a little fun money so that my kid isn't bored during her summer break from school.
You're not really a cross stitcher but you still want to show your support anyway, you can head on over to my ko-fi page.
https://ko-fi.com/sturdynerdystitchery
And consider buying me a coffee!
It's also where I store all my free patterns that I have available. 100% free for you to stitch. The gallery has all the free patterns and links are included in the description!
Just don't complain about the patterns. You got them for free. What more do you want...sheesh! 🙄
But if you Stitch any of those free patterns, and you share it to your social media, and I'll give you free patterns from my shop! But you have to finish a completed free cross stitch pattern. I'll have to double check my rules but I think if you also frame it and hang it up, then you get two free patterns from my shop!
Stitch ugly shit to get free pretty shit in return? HA! How much of a cheapskate are you?

Here I am, continuing with the test Stitch for a pattern that I want to put in my shop. You would think I would have noticed this mistake as I was stitching, but apparently I did not .
So, watch the video to the end and let me know if you've made a similar mistake!
Usually, the most common mistake that I tend to see in cross stitching circles is having to rip, or frog out your stitches because you made a mistake in counting. Or possibly the wrong color.
But can anyone claim to have stitched fabric to their cross stitch? Oh no wait I think I heard someone in a group once say that they accidentally stitched some of their hair.
So, what similar mistakes have you made?
Remember, If you want more patterns to stitch that are unique, that are funny, easy. I do design cross stitch patterns. And my cross stitch patterns are 20% off for the month of June! you can find so many more cross stitch patterns on my shop, at

I'm still only at four sales on the sale is still going on! I'm making this pertinent cuz I have to go grocery shopping and groceries cost money. Hint hint 👀
To make it cross-stitch related, here's a test Stitch I'm working on! Here's some update progress on it wait till you see it finished just going to look so cool!

So please consider supporting my store!
I'm sharing this again because! Good news!
For the entire month of June, in honor of pride month, I am running a 20% off sale on everything in my shop! You heard that right.
20% off The whole sturdy nerdy stitchery store!
So, now's the perfect time to go find yourself something to stitch!
Click the link below and head on over to:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/SturdyNerdyStitchery
Can y'all make sure you reblog The shit out of this and make it go viral? Why? Because who WOULDN'T want something new and funky fresh to stitch up!
The honest reason? My husband was let go from his job back in March. He got a new job a few weeks ago but it's at half the salary that he was making. Money is going to start to get tight soon, and I'm just a SAHM trying to find a job (job market is tough)
And let's just add insult to injury. My car battery died. There's 130 something odd bucks just to get a new one.
So I'm hoping I can at least sell patterns to help make some income for our family. It may not be a lot but it might go towards the purchase of a new car battery. Or groceries. Or just so I can have that little bit of fun money now and again to treat myself to a coffee or an ice cream when I'm ready to scream.
So, yeah.

Here's just a small video I took the other day of me cross stitching. I guess why not.
This is a pattern that I designed a few years ago and I'm finally test stitching it!
I'm still running a 20% off sale in my Etsy shop! See the link in my bio, or by pinned post.
And here's an update, car battery came in! But it turned out to be a whole hell of a lot cheaper than we anticipated because we ended up finding some gift certificates for Costco that we forgot we had!
A $130 car battery got brought down to $14!
But does that mean you should stop supporting now that I've hit my goal? Hell no! I've still got bills to pay and groceries to do and what not.
Also, today is Colorado Springs pride! I'll post more about that in a second video.

Pride month means Pride Flags! I created five different cross stitch patterns of watercolor art versions of my favorite flag of inclusivity. What a wonderful gift to make for someone to show your support as an ally or a proud member of the LGBTQ community! LOVE IS LOVE.

Love is love. It's in our hearts, it's in our bones. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
To celebrate, I wanted to share my rainbow-colored, anatomically correct heart and skull cross stitch patterns. They're a nod to the fact that love and identity are core parts of who we are, right down to our very anatomy. Whether you want to stitch your pride or just love a vibrant, anatomical design, you can find both patterns in my Etsy shop.

#669. Flabébé

Blue Flower: Once it finds a flower it likes, this Pokémon will spend the rest of its life taking care of its flower. This Flabébé rides a blue flower.
Orange Flower: This Flabébé rides an orange flower. On its head, it wears a crown of pollen that has healing properties.
Red Flower: This Pokémon can draw forth the power hidden within blooming wild flowers. It is particularly fond of red flowers.
White Flower: When evening falls, it searches out a place blooming with flowers of the same white color as itself, and then it goes to sleep.
Yellow Flower: This Flabébé rides a yellow flower. The Pokémon is defenseless and vulnerable before it has found and received power from a flower.
Colour and symbol charts can be found here.

A note on colours: in my experience, floss looks different irl than in online pattern makers. If you think a different colour will work better, go with your gut!
