Anyone been playing any decent videogames recently? I've been playing Cuphead and the vintage art style inspired me to draw some cartoon stuff. It's Friday! We made it to the weekend. I switched back to the first app I used and experimented with what I learned to draw this portrait of @freyavintage and I'm chuffed with how this turned out. Finally finished this pin up pic of the awesome @emilybarnardperthmodel. It's based on a image taken by @caitlynjean92 for a shoot for @latex247. I really wanted to do a good job on this one. New year greetings everyone! Hope the holidays have been great for you and your loved ones! So, new year, new me? Well, kinda. I haven't got the time to make Styles and Styluses a 'thing', and so I'm gonna change this account into a place where I can put my sporadically posted pics. I'll change the name to Craigles' art stuff or something. I'll post less frequently because now I just wanna draw/paint to chill out and de-stress. So, no idea why but Instagram has decided that my account has been shadowbanned. The hashtag I use shows that it has broke community standards. No idea why, but hell, I'm gonna stop moaning about it and take a punk rock attitude and do it for the love of drawing. In her original post, Marley's eyes are so piercing, and I was desperately trying to capture that! Tattoos never come out well because that level of detail is really difficult to nail, so instead I went for more of a suggestion of them. Hey there intagramland. How you doing? Still alive, and slowly making progress. Here's another work in progress, it's based on a shot of @misspheejameson by @peterdpphotography. Phee said she'd be cool if I drew her again, and when I saw this pin-up style shot, I had to draw it. Taking some artistic licence here by drawing her with eyes open, just purely because I drew her with eyes closed last time. Also playing with lighting.
