Possibly an unpopular opinion among us Sasha Banks fans but if I had to choose one of the three women mentioned in a previous post of mine (Alexa, Charlotte, or Becky) to be on Smackdown with Sasha, I’m glad it’s Alexa and not one of the others.
Becky is still in the middle of her mega push where she can never lose clean and there’s no sign of her losing her Woman’s Championship anytime soon and Charlotte is Charlotte. Charlotte is the most dangerous to Sasha because Charlotte is always a blink of an eye away from ending someone’s championship reign for no reason at all besides the company wanting to to add yet another championship reign to her resume.
So, yeah... It sucks we won’t get the Sasha and Bayley show that some of us wanted. but I think with Alexa being a face and how she’s been booked lately, I don’t feel threatened by her the same way I was back in 2017 when Sasha went up against her. That’s not me saying I think there’s no chance of FOX wanting to back Alexa and give her an amazing push but I don’t think it will be as bad this time. It could be good for all we know. I know personally I’ve enjoyed Alexa a whole lot more this past year than I ever have since she first came to RAW.
Maybe I’m optimistic but that’s just how I see it.

me knowing Sasha Banks isn’t on the same brand with the three women (Becky, Charlotte, and Alexa) who she should’ve beat numerous times but couldn’t because WWE was so dead set on putting them over and now she can have a show all to herself with Bayley:

me after finding out yesterday (October 7th) was the four year anniversary of the Iron Woman match between Sasha Banks and Bayley and neither of them were featured on Monday Night RAW in any capacity, not even an interview or a backstage segment involving them, and this came one day after they both loss matches that they should’ve won at HIAC:

Honestly, from a kayfabe perspective and not just looking at the fact that Mercedes got screwed out of a well-deserved win yet again, I think the worst part about Sasha Banks losing inside of Hell in a Cell again isn’t just that she lost. It’s that there are no excuses this time
At least back in 2016 when she fought Charlotte, you can argue that it wasn’t a clean loss since Charlotte attacked Sasha before the match even started and put her through the announcers table. Sasha was at a disadvantage going into that match because Charlotte was at 100% and she wasn’t... and this time? There’s no excuse. It was a clean loss. Sure. Sasha learned from her mistakes and she took a page out of Charlotte’s book and attacked Becky before the match even started to gain the early advantage and good for her on that, but even with that it still didn’t matter. Creative made sure Sasha had an advantage early on and still had her lose to Becky.
And that just sucks because it makes Sasha look like she still can’t get the job done on pay-per-view. Whether she’s a face or a heel, it doesn’t matter. Sasha can’t win the big one. I don’t care if this means Sasha is probably going to the new A-show. I’d rather her be on the B-Show, be booked to finally win a match that matters and have the reign that she’s deserved for the last three years than have her be on the A-show and hope one day she’ll finally get the booking that she deserves one of these days.

pointless [ point-lis ]
adjective
1. without a point
2. blunt, as an instrument.
3. without force, meaning, or relevance.
4. without a point scored, as in a game.
5. Sasha Banks returning to WWE in August, turning heel, doing everything she can to be the best heel possible, only to still not get her moment because WWE likes to have her lose when she needed to win.

After watching Sasha Banks’ WWE Chronicle, I think a lot of people owe Sasha Banks an apology but they won’t give it to her because they’ll still want to believe Ryan Satin and his bullshit reports about Sasha crying on this floor or that floor.
When it comes to criticisms on women in wrestling it’s always done by men.
That’s a false statement. It’s not always the men being critical. As a man myself who mostly observes Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr from a distance, I’ve seen plenty women criticize other women as well. I saw plenty of women and men dragging Sasha’s name through the mud when those reports came out. I’m not saying men aren’t guilty at all but get outta here with that. Not all men are pigs, are looking for eye candy, or whatever. Some (like me) genuinely enjoy the women and the wrestling they have to offer.
