Where does my frustration lie?
Well that's a good question, to give you some background I'm not "white," I have a different background- I will not say more than that bc I don't think it matters but being who am I, has had it's disadvantages. I'm not here to get pity, I just want people to understand why you shouldn't assume. Yesterday a friend of mine made the assumption bc of my "background" that I'm use to people with darker features and was wrongfully identifying his/her hair color bc of it. Doesn't anyone else but me think that's A) Dumb B) very presumptuous? I actually have family that have lighter features and I had to educate them on that matter, bc you cannot generalize a whole race/ ethnicity...I'm sorry but you can't.

Intro
So I'm not writing to anyone in particular tbh I just wanted to write bc I've tried other ways to deal with my aggravation and it didn't seem to help so here goes nothing. My frustration being an introvert... Well I can't particularly say why I'm an introvert bc as a child I was very social but I think as I grew up I just realized how fake and disloyal people were. With that I noticed some people are constantly worried with their appearance or the perception they give others (hope that makes sense, I forgot to mention before that I'm a horrible writing, honestly I'm just spewing out whatever comes to mind 馃榿). I think society places such a big role on identity whether it's how you define yourself as a person (like characteristics,) or sexuality, or maybe even race/ ethnicity. I don't think anyone can define themselves using just one word, although badass sounds cool what does it even imply? Bc I know people who say they're badasses and don't have emotions and are "too cool for school," but those same people happen to be the ones most focused on how people perceive them, they're crowd pleasers. Anyway I'm kinda getting off topic but basically I'm a introvert bc I'm actually comfortable with who I am and what I believe but in but as Tim Burton once said, "Maybe it鈥檚 just in America, but it seems that if you鈥檙e passionate about something, it freaks people out. You鈥檙e considered bizarre or eccentric. To me, it just means you know who you are. "
