Biography:Â Born as Derek Winters in Canalave City to a poor family: a mother, father, and older brother. Because of this, he always felt that he was inconveniencing his family, as there wasnât enough money to sustain them all comfortably. Quite early on, it was clear that he didnât get along well with other people and preferred to talk to objects, specifically those that could move. He developed an obsession with electronics and would find old scraps, take them apart, and rebuild them to make them work again. This obsession began when he was four.
Because his family was poor, he couldnât buy any engines or motors, and seeing as they were hard to come by in dumpsters, he took to shoplifting at electronics stores when he was twelve. This proved to be a lot more effort than he enjoyed, and so he started dealing drugs at the age of fifteen so that he could buy the parts he needed instead. During his teenage years he distanced himself from his family to the point that they kicked him out when he was seventeen.
With nowhere to live and not enough money to rent a flat, Derek went homeless for a few years, until he noticed talk about a âTeam Galacticâ that was hiring. He joined, worked his way up through the ranks, and eventually reached the title of Commander, where he became known as Saturn.
After Saturn was betrayed by Cyrus, he became bitter about joining Team Galactic and now wishes to restore the world to what it had been before- thus siding with Arceus.
