STEM is an integrated and hands on learning program. The goal of STEM is to develop the next generation of problem solvers, engineers, scientists, and innovators. By engaging students in project based learning, it not only teaches youth knowledge but it teaches them how to use that knowledge. STEM equips students with critical thinking, problem solving, creative and collaborative skills, and ultimately establishes connections between the school, workplace, community and the global economy.  STEM is working towards a future in which the education system is integrated and teaches students to think for themselves.

We must never forget what the STEM subjects have in common with sister disciplines like literature and history. Yes, they help us get good jobs, but they also help us grasp what it means to be human and live a good life. That is why STEM is truly among the liberal arts

Projects
Students in STEM are taught using a project based learning teaching method. In which students gain knowledge and skills over an extended period of time. They investigate solutions and research solutions to complex problems. Project based learning allows students to learn by experience rather than by being given the answers.
