I've started a little project with my daughter for us to make Sims builds together around a theme! So here we have a woodland cabin, perfect for a sim who appreciates the peace and quiet of nature giving a perfect opportunity to focus on hobbies.

With a gorgeous reading nook and hobby area upstairs which makes the most of space and natural light, sims can lose track of time for hours in this sweet cabin.

Complete with areas outside to sit and socialise around a bonfire on summer evenings, as well as a small area on the balcony for gardening.

And we end the rotation with Andres heading outside to go and inspect a weird light.

For plumbob's sake Andres!! What is up with my sims getting abducted?!

Andres: "Uh oh, I've heard about this!"

Quartz: "Absolute heap of llama doody! If we end up having some alien baby who is also my half-sister I will lose it!"

Great, thanks very much. But that's all we have time for for Quartz and Andres this season! I guess we'll just have to see what happens next for them!

The couple decide to head out and spend some time at one of the festivals in Mount Komorebi. They both seem to really enjoy it! And we end the evening with a beautiful proposal in front of the fire. Quartz says yes! And it looks like we now have a wedding to plan!

I would love to see these two have children, but I just don't think they will due to Quartz' hatred of them. Can you imagine what she would be like if she had her own kids?!

The following morning, Andres finishes a book and publishes it. A sense of normality for this house.

Quartz finishes Winterfest by being abducted. Father Winter hadn't even left yet, considering he seems to hate all aliens but evidently loves to chill out in our spaceship?

I spent the next couple of days anxious Quartz would end up pregnant. I really didn't want another alien baby, considering that Quartz hates children, and that it feels like the majority of sims born in to this save have originated from her father, Cliff.

I needn't have been worried though. The next day was pretty relaxed. Andres spent some time writing for his aspiration, and Quartz went out to find some crystals she could use for work.

The next day is Winterfest and the couple start off decorating the spaceship. I forgot to say, Andres moved in with Quartz this rotation and I forgot to take his traits down. Why am I so bad at making notes?

Anyway, Andres is one of the only sims Quartz has ever loved, and she does have the soulmate aspiration, so it makes sense.

The wider family comes over for a grand meal a little later on and I thought it was quite telling that Chiara wasn't invited. Quartz really hates her doesn't she?! Quartz does really get on well with her half sisters though which is lovely and they're developing a pretty good relationship.

Father Winter showed up later on that night and gave Andres a nice present, however he said Quartz had been bad. Just like with Radium and Polonium! There is definitely a case here for direct alien discrimination!

The next day, Quartz starts her new job as a scientist. I am confident she will be brilliant at this.

In fact, on her first day she makes friends with this lady. This is quickly rectified however, after a few arguments (initiated by Quartz of course) the next day.

Quartz: "Former friend! Good morning! Please, try this entirely normal serum I just made and am looking for a test subject for!"

Unfortunately, no adverse affect was had.

I must admit, it's pretty hilarious watching Quartz laugh maniacally whilst using the machines.

Quartz then asks her long-term boyfriend, Andres, out on a date to Jazz-Aret.

There are lots of other couples here and I love people watching when my sims go out. Rocco appears to also be having dinner with a couple of absolute characters.

Quartz seems to have an unconventional understanding of what couples in love do on their dates though, as she decides to read Andres' mind.

Quartz heads out to go and take a look at the flew market. Her spaceship is modestly furnished and we don't need anything new right now, but it's nice to get out!

Quartz decides to tease the alien vendor, but then they quickly make friends.

In fact, I checked Quartz' relationship panel and whilst I haven't been playing her she has struck up a real relationship with her biological mother - Pollination Technician #3.

It's quite lovely, in a way... Quartz really does only like those who are directly related to her through alien blood...

Oasis Springs Society - Rotation 3 - Winter - Evaristo (2)

Welcome back to the Oasis Springs Society! This time we're joining Quartz Evaristo for her first rotation since leaving the family home.

Quartz seemingly hated every second living at home, she particularly didn't get on with Chiara and Syrah, leaving Cliff as the only person she truly got on with.

Quartz has moved in to a vacant lot in Oasis Springs where she has sourced a refurbished space ship and has 'parked' this in a secure compound. Her first task? To look at the clouds of course!

Juno however decides to see in the new year by having her first blow-out. Perhaps she has the wrong understanding of new years fireworks. Syrah is left to clean her up.

Then, I am astounded as Cliff emerges from his bedroom pregnant again!!!

He was an elder when he was abducted last! I didn't even think this was possible?! Oh my stars, there are more sims in this family who have come from Cliff and Pollination Technician number 3 than any others!

As you can imagine, I was completely shook by this. Thankfully it was time to move on to the next family in the rotation lest I spontaneously combust!

Join us next time for more Evaristo fun. I daresay we'll see Cliff's baby, and we should have more fun with the girls and Juno.

Probing over, and feeling the usual 'dazed' feeling, Cliff partakes in a drink to see in the new year with his wife who he barely knows whilst standing on top of the baby. Ah, the sims.

The girls are much more proactive with their time, using the remainder of the afternoon to work on their skills and hobbies.

Quartz comes round unannounced to ring in the new year with us, and of course shares a hug with her dad when the clocks strike midnight.

Anyway, it's new years and we have a pretty varied day (well, some of the family more than others).

Chiara decides the morning is a perfect time to do a toast with cocktails, not that she needs any excuse and then the family have a trip to the park. Oasis Springs is actually raining though, so the girls get to play for a bit and then we go home as everyone was soaked through.

Meanwhile, Cliff gets abducted again. I'm starting to think that Pollination Technician has a subscription service for him! Either that or he's collecting air miles as he seems to be abducted every rotation.

Despite the couple now not really knowing each other at all, things are going pretty well with games, time with friends and family life.

Hilariously (depending on how you look at it), with the couple having erased each other's relationship, Cliff couldn't even introduce himself to Chiara as she was too famous! So I have had to work their relationship up from Chiara's panel by spamming interactions. Surely they do not have time for this drama anymore?!

Even Quartz is coming over more. Maybe because the girls are essentially her half sisters too, she really gets along with them both and they talk on the phone all the time. It's pretty sweet really. Alien blood must be very thick, but only that of a certain lineage from PT#3 as Quartz absolutely despises Chiara and Syrah.

Juno is just the sweetest little thing and quickly settles down for a nap. It was at this point I realised that Cliff and Chiara were both raging with each other about something and couldn't even be nearby each other without feeling hurt.

I quickly managed to get to the bottom of it, and that Chiara had erased Cliff's memory and their relationship. All of it gone, gah! You are both old now! Don't you want to live out your last days in peace?!

Chiara is entirely unremorseful; "I would rather live out my last days at the bar."

Sigh, why did I know she'd say that?!

But it's also little Juno's birthday. As you can see, the family care a huge amount.

Honestly, Juno is the most adorable little infant. I see she has Agnes' hair which just makes me squee and I had so much fun putting her in lots of sweet outfits.

Juno rolled 'wiggly', yay for me.

It's time for Cliff's birthday. As you can see everyone has turned out for this and it is super cute. I absolutely love gameplay like this of big events.

We are straight back to it however, as Agnes needs to go and protest in a public place, and Chiara wants to work out. So, two birds, one stone, and we go to the gym in Del Sol.

I didn't know how this would go as Agnes champions a very socialist cause. So we'll see. Anyway, Chiara has a great workout and hilariously, I discover Nancy Landgraab is a complete fan girl for her. I chuckled to myself as Chiara pities her with an autograph.

Amazingly, Agnes gets quite an audience to her protest with many actually clapping her and supporting.

Eliza Pancakes, in fact, must have been so energised she dropped and gave some push ups there and then, just as Nancy passed out from the overwhelm of meeting Chiara. This picture can have many captions, so you pick one in your mind so that I won't get banned.
