Had a dream were a new crk update came out and it was one of those side stories/special episodes (Like the Odyssey and stuff) where Carrow and Crunchy Chip were trynna climb a mountain (for some dream reason) and they brought this hooded guy (Unnamed Huntress/Healer Cookie energy) that was an alleged prophet/mage and they dont get along that well because the hooded cookie was lowkey weird but eventually they kind of bond to the point were they are ambiguously friends but turned the bitch was Affogato in disguise trynna kill them but he actually kinda likes them but thinks its too late and he has done too much wrong but I woke up before the big final battle

Skip Google for Research

As Google has worked to overtake the internet, its search algorithm has not just gotten worse.  It has been designed to prioritize advertisers and popular pages often times excluding pages and content that better matches your search terms 

As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable.  As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.

Below is a concise list of useful research sites compiled by Edward Clark over on Facebook. I was familiar with some, but not all of these.

Google is so powerful that it “hides” other search systems from us. We just don’t know the existence of most of them. Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information. Keep a list of sites you never heard of.

www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.

www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.

https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.

www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.

http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.

www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.

www.pdfdrive.com is the largest website for free download of books in PDF format. Claiming over 225 million names.

www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free

If I had a nickle every time

Zeno Robinson voiced a pale, blonde guy with mostly slick back hair except for a cowlick or two. He is associated with red birds and is the source of his power which includes being real speedy. He is introduced as one of, if not, the best of his field which causes him to be snarkier, sarcastic, and even arrogant at moments but the more episodes we have of them, the more we can empathize with him as we realize he is only a victim of the government control.

He also has a villainous father(figure) and gains a scar on his left cheek throughout the course of the story. He gets his hair cut and looses his cowlick. He has unatural colored eyes.

His name also starts with H funnily enough

Art Fight time!

Starting again on July 1st is my favorite online artist event: Art Fight! If you have OCs, and enjoy making and receiving art involving OCs, then I highly suggest you check out the site and set up an account!

For those who aren’t familiar with Art Fight, here’s a brief overview:

Each year, participating artists are split into two teams.

The main goal is to find any artist from the team opposite yours, and ‘attack’ them by drawing art of their ocs! Your team receives points based on what you create.

Artists that receive attacks can then ‘counter’ by drawing an OC belonging to the person who fought them, or pay it forward by simply attacking anyone on the opposing team!

Art Fight is a great chance to interact with tons of different artists, get to know the amazing OCs that others have created, and have a lot of fun making art! The art you receive is also very exciting; you never know who may attack you! Keep in mind, it’s all in good fun and any skill level is welcome!!

The event lasts a month (July 1st - August 1st), and the team with the most points by the end wins!

Freshly baked batch of cookies. Anyone want any?

So, I finally decided to sit down and nail down the designs for my characters. I didn’t do all of my cookies because I am not going to use some of them anymore (I’ll make a post on it on my side blog). But on the bright side, I baked a new cookie and redrew npcs (who honestly have my best designs, especially Oyster’s wife who I never gave a name but her art is pretty great)

If anyone has any notes, please tell me them. I am glad with most of them but they could always use improvements.
