It’s not men’s job to subvert, mock, parody, or critique femininity. You don’t get to tell us how much you hate the cage you put us in.

This but applied towards males in general regardless of how they identify. This society raised all of them to expect women to cater to them.

“Statistically, a woman is more likely to be hurt by a man than she is to ever be eaten by a shark, hit by a car, be attacked by a bear, crash in a plane, or be bitten by a spider. When a woman expresses fear of any of these events, she is still seen as a rational person. When I tell people that I am afraid of swimming in the ocean because I’m afraid of sharks, they accept it almost without question. But, when I tell people that I’m afraid of men, that men scare me more than sharks and spiders and freak plane accidents all combined, I immediately lose their respect. I am considered elitist. I am considered sub-human.”

I feel sick and personally offended by how normalized male genitalia is in everyday life. Especially in things like graffiti, crude jokes, or just casual visual references. It's like everywhere I turn there’s another drawing of a penis, and no one bats an eye. It’s treated like this default symbol of humor. But female genitalia is treated completely differently. The only time you really see vaginas portrayed openly is when it’s being used to make a radical statement. Like in protest art, feminist movements, or deliberately provocative media. And even then it’s often met with discomfort, censorship, or accusations of being too much. I hate how male bodies get this weird kind of cultural free pass while female bodies are still hyper scrutinized and silenced unless they’re being packaged in a palatable or sexualized way. There’s this imbalance in how society reacts to the representation of our bodies. Women’s bodies are still being treated as taboo or inappropriate unless they serve someone else's agenda. Meanwhile penises are just out here being doodled on desks, scrawled on bathroom stalls, or spray painted on buildings without a second thought.
