Hi friends, this is the sixth of my acrylic series back a few years ago. That time, as I was looking at this portrait I drew, I began wondering why this face felt so incredibly familiar to me. If you subconsciously draw a part of yourself, it comes from the depth of the psychological area that we call the "Shadow". This part is the repressed and long forgotten aspect of yourself. Now that this is confirmed - what kind of person is staring back at me? Perhaps I was reading too much into it but looking at its face in different stages of life always felt like it was changing expressions too. There is a whole palette of what it went through to show me, from anger to curiosity, from bitterness to wonderment, from sadness to innocence. After finishing this painting, I still couldn't decode what it was trying to tell me.

Hey there, this is the fifth of my acrylic series journey back a few years ago. Around this time, I got deeply into the theories of "persona" and "shadow", to psychological beings which the famous Carl G. Jung discovered and wrote about. "Wearing a mask", "Pretending to be someone else" became a huge topic all of the sudden. If I was to be completely honest, I became very shocked at how tightly this mask had clung to be at that time. Taking it finally, finally off and regarding it from all sides was truly an amazing spectacle for me to witness.

Hello, this is the fourth painting in my acrylic series. I got into experimenting with hands, colors, and intuition. As I was looking at this painting, I wondered what emotion I felt deep within myself. I remember I contemplated for a long time back then. Haunted, as if being gripped by an unknown force, what did it want to express here?

hello friends, this is the third painting of my acrylic series, back then a few years ago. I remember I didn't like how I initially wanted to go (I was too much in my headspace!), and the result? I wasn't satisfied at all! Since reaching a certain vision in my head didn't work well, I decided to change my approach and started using only my hands and fingers for painting. It was a total blast! I has so much fun just letting my inner child out and smash whatever it needed to get out onto that canvas. That's the first time I realized, with astonishment, how truly blessed I am to have this joy of creating what I can do with my incredible hands.

Title: Glass Castle
Topics: Dream, Reflection, Desires In The Heart
Hello, this is the second painting in my acrylic series, a time when I rediscovered my love for art. This is the first time I have let things unfold intuitively and without a specific idea or motif in mind - just the desire to paint something that sprang forth in this moment. A few years back, as I painted this piece, it started as a mountain, but then it evolved into something magical – a 'glass castle.' This castle is made of mirrors. Just like the water it rises from, it reflects everything around it. It mirrors not only the external world but also the emotions in the depths of my own heart.

This acrylic painting marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey. After a prolonged hiatus, during which external pressures had led me to abandon my passion for art, I finally returned to my creative roots. Several years after leaving university, I embarked on a world-traveling adventure, and upon my return, this artwork emerged as the inaugural piece in my acrylic series. It serves as a poignant reminder of a recurring dream I often experience – one filled with visions of distant lands, the tranquil Mediterranean seas, vibrant houses, and billowing white sails.

lost in my own sauce. . . honestly, the things I have to deal with, daily, such a ridiculous life I find myself in. I guess I should feel blessed to have at least something to hang onto.

Hi, I’m Sugold, a coffee-holic living in a single apartment alone with my cat. Most things I do is making coffee and staring at nowhere particular. Don’t mind my half-fixated gaze. I may look lost in deep thought but I’m actually bored.
