“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there's something stronger – something better, pushing right back.

Vintage arcade art of MS. PAC-MAN (1982), one of the most successful arcade games of all time. So ugly really (but I like ugly).
I’m old enough to sort of remember the game being around still. Word on the street was that it was better than the original Pac-Man.

Howard Nemerov - 1920-1991

That while you watched turned to pieces of snow
Riding a gradient invisible
From silver aslant to random, white, and slow.
There came a moment that you couldn’t tell.
And then they clearly flew instead of fell.
