( glittering bubbles floating through the sky, a baby pink bedroom filled with childlike affection, blonde hair curled in an immaculate fashion ) –– && it looks like GLINDA UPLAND has finally arrived in woodshore ( though she originates from wicked ). although known as THE GOOD WITCH OF THE NORTH back home, here they are a twenty-six year old socialite, known to be CHARMING, but VAIN. they were coaxed here with the promise of getting to see elphaba one last time. they remember NOTHING OF HER OWN LIFE.
from what point in your characters canon are they taken from?
glinda is taken from the end of the musical! too bad she doesn’t remember any of it.
gender/pronouns
cis female + she/her pronouns
anything else you’d like to add!
beautiful and vain as ever, glinda’s fake life was much different than life in oz. she had no idea magic existed, couldn’t remember elphaba or the engagement, the Wizard, really any of it. life was mundane, but it was good - a life with a sister, and the ability to climb the social ladder without much challenge. it was happy.
she wouldn’t have paid any attention to the invitation to woodshore, a promise to see elphaba, except that some part of her refused to let it go, not until she made the decision to follow through. even if, now, she still had no idea why.

( a well worn black coat that's seen better days, drown your sorrows in a bottle of whiskey, dog hairs clinging to every surface ) –– && it looks like HANK ANDERSON has finally arrived in woodshore ( though he originates from detroit: become human ). although known as THE YOUNGEST LIEUTENANT IN DETROIT back home, here they are a fifty-three year old police lieutenant, known to be DETERMINED, but IRRITABLE. they were coaxed here with the promise of cole. they remember HUGGING CONNOR AT CHICKEN FEED.
from what point in your characters canon are they taken from?
hank is taken from the end of the game, from an ending in which connor deviates and helps to liberate the androids. his last moments include meeting connor afterwards, once everything is said and done.
gender/pronouns
cis male + he/him pronouns
anything else you’d like to add!
hank’s real life was steeped in tragedy - he built his career on getting the drug red ice off the streets, and he did it well. he was good at his job, and then one night a truck skidded on ice and his car rolled over, resulting in losing his six year old son. everything that mattered stopped meaning anything.
his fake life, well. it was better, but it was also equally as empty. hank still built a career for himself but he couldn’t remember cole, despite the void that always existed never quite closing. he fostered children, one in particular, but it never ended the way he wanted it to. when woodshore promised his son, hank took the chance, despite not knowing anything about who cole was - but he got him back. remembering detroit and the androids is easier now because he has his child back, but there’s a level of deep shame over how badly things got before.

( lavender colored smoke billowing off a cauldron, paint samples strewn across the floor, bell-bottoms decorated with handmade stitching ) –– && it looks like PANDORA LOVEGOOD has finally arrived in woodshore ( though she originates from harry potter ). although known as a WHIMSICAL EXPERIMENTER back home, here they are a thirty year old painter, known to be CREATIVE, but HASTY. they were coaxed here with the promise of luna. they remember THE CALM OF PEACE AFTER HER FAILED EXPERIMENT.
from what point in your characters canon are they taken from?
pandora is taken from sometime between the end of the first war, right after her experiments went wrong and ended up killing her.
gender/pronouns
pandora is cis female & uses she/her pronouns
anything else you’d like to add!
super head in the clouds, curious about everything. even in her fake life, pandora was always experimental; granted, it was mostly with food since she didn’t remember magic and now that she had it back, she’s both afraid and excited to use it again.
it’s been surreal to think that she died, but for some reason, that hasn’t really phased her past giving an even richer appreciation of life than she had before. and while pandora has no idea where to start looking, finding luna is her primary concern.

from what point in your characters canon are they taken from?
the end of season 2! his last memories consist of the family getting back to the house; he doesn’t remember seeing ben’s painting or anything after being zapped back.
gender/pronouns
diego identifies as cis male and uses he/him pronouns
anything else you’d like to add!

MIKE & GYRO.
Gyro thought about it for a couple of seconds before nodding slightly. Although it had seemed to be an almost spot on explanation as to what had happened it didn’t exactly explain the fact that some people had their memories while others didn’t. “I hadn’t really factored in the lack of memories that some of us have gone through. Maybe it has something to do with time…? I honestly don’t know why some people have their memories in tack while others had them since they first got here.” He sighed softly and looked at the other with a surprised expression when he heard that he could have died if he hadn’t taken charge of the situation. “Sometimes taking charge of things is the only way to keep yourself and others from getting into something dangerous. But then again there are times when doing so will do more damage than good.” The inventor took a breath and looked down at the ground for a moment when asked about what he was studying and why he had left Japan. Although the sigh wasn’t due to the question of what he was studying. “ Well… I’m majoring in biomechanic engineering. Although at first I was debating between that and robotic engineering.” He shrugged slightly before taking a breath and looking up at him with a small frown. “I didn’t leave Japan because I wanted to. I along with my former mentor were tasked with building a robot to defend the city we were working in but something went wrong and it almost leveled the city… that’s where the richest man in the world came in. He offered me a job back in the states working for him and I took it. The only reason I’m here is so I can see my folks and my friends from when I worked with Mr. McDuck.” Gyro nodded slightly as he thought about the fact that if there was two killers one of them would have more than likely outed the other by now. “Well unless they’ve been working together for a long time and trust each other more than anything it’s more than likely just one killer who is trying to throw everyone for a loop.”
The truth was, maybe there was no good explanation for any of it. He didn’t like to admit it, in no small part because feeling helpless was one of his least favorite things - but maybe it was true here, and they were talking in circles around it out of some desperate attempt to make sense of it. “Yeah, maybe, I guess.” Mike sighed, shaking his head. “You’d think there’s something to it, but hell if I know what it is.” He admitted, the frustration clear even having to think it. Why the fuck did he have to be one that remembered? “Sometimes it’s both.” He sighed, unaware of the glint that went through his eyes at the thought. So much corrosive regret had built up since that night on Mount Washington that there was no ignoring it anymore, no matter how much he tried to. “But if you don’t have a choice and it’s life or death, I’d rather be the one in charge than waiting for my head to be ripped off.” Too close to home, but what did it matter? By sheer, dumb luck, Michael had survived the worst of it. As Gyro started explaining, Mike nodded along, impression flooding across his face. “Shit. So you’re smart.” He spoke, the corner of his lip quirked up in a grin for a fleeting second before he shook his head. “Wait, you made a robot that leveled a city? Shit.” It was impressive, no getting around that - but Mike could tell it shouldn’t have been. Nodding again, Mike ran a hand over the back of his neck, “so, did you find them? Your friends.” It’d be nice if Woodshore would spit his friends out somewhere, but he wasn’t holding his breath. Getting the wolf back was probably more luck than he was due, anyway. “Yeah, I won’t pretend to understand how serial killers think-” though he had tried once, “-- but that seems to be the most likely answer, right?”

KAROLINA & ELLIOT.
a small chuckle when the other woman replied that it certainly wasn’t exercise. at least they were on the same page about that. “—i’m not really a sand person.” elliot mused, head tilting. “but shopping…” not that she had a lot of money, but she could usually get herself a discount one way or another.
“i think it’s an acquired taste,” karolina agreed with a small laugh, fighting the memories that flooded her mind. she loved the beach, but not all of her friends had. her smile brightened slightly at her next words. “it’s a personal favorite of mine,” she admitted, pausing for a beat. “-- i could go with you, if you wanted. it’s always more fun with someone else.”

NORTH & NAKIA.
@sumcvivus - north
‘ all the what - if’s start to haunt you . ’
nakia nodded pensively, knowing it wouldn’t take her long to come with a long list of “what-ifs” if she gave it even a blink of effort. they haunted her even though she’d always told herself she wouldn’t create any, but she’d learned that no one could control that over time. “i never thought i would let them,” she admitted.
it was uncomfortable to even think about, all of the other ways things could go. there was a reason north didn’t look back, didn’t spend her time entertaining how differently things might have been. for the most part, it had served her well, but to be alone in woodshore - well, that complicated things. “i never did.” she spoke, letting out a small sigh. distrustful as north remained, she was . . . trying. with everyone but men, at least. “the longer i spend here, the harder it’s getting. as if woodshore wasn’t frustrating enough.”

DAVINA & LUNA.
@woodshorestarters
“i just… really thought he’d be here by now.” luna didn’t like to sound morose, but the words hung heavy in the air. how long did one have to wait for something good to happen? luna feared the worst; perhaps her father had gotten lost, or caught up in the war. maybe he would never be home. of course… it wasn’t like luna to waste time on foolish emotions, and xenophilius lovegood was nothing if not strong and capable.
davina felt her eyebrows draw together, a frown appearing on her face before she could stop it. “how long have you been waiting?” she asked, dreading the answer before she even heard it. waiting for someone in woodshore, that was something davina could sympathize to; granted, she hadn’t been waiting long, but there was no sign of marcel and josh anywhere. maybe they didn’t remember -- that was even worse. “i was told someone would be here, too. two someones, actually.” davina offered up, trying to reassure the blonde she wasn’t the only one. “so far, i -- haven’t been able to find either of them, either.”

BROOKE & GAMORA.
@woodshorestarters - open
“they told me they’d be here,” gamora said, stepping to the side to stop someone she passed by on the sidewalk. she knew better than to just believe mysterious promises from an unknown source, but she also wanted to believe that the rest of the guardians were here. it was simple that a place like this - and a place not like this - wouldn’t be home until the seven of them were reunited. especially not after everything that happened.
“one is either this tall,” she held out her hands in front of her, apart only about six inches, “or this tall,” she held her hand up at shoulder height, “or this tall,” she jumped once as she held her hand as high as it could go, “and he goes by groot.” which was really hard to miss. “he’s nearly always with rocket who hates being called a raccoon.”
“there’s mantis and she has antennae that help her sense what you’re feeling and change your emotions.” and mantis was friendly enough to probably have made it around town to most people. “and drax is a kylosian. has a lot of muscles and doesn’t understand sarcasm.” even after being a part of the guardians for so long. “he’s easy to find even when he thinks he’s invisible.”
“peter is terran… human and he’s always listening to music. he wears his emotions in his eyes and usually doesn’t even try to hide it.” she felt like she could always tell what he was thinking. “and my sister nebula. she’s a luphomoid, but she has cybernetic enhancements. she might not be with any of the others, but she’s family.”
she looked at the other right in the eyes. “have you seen any of them?”
the adjustment to woodshore had been easier than it might have been, once - a small town with murders, but at least brooke didn’t know any of them. maybe that was selfish ( no, it was definitely selfish ), but, well . . . it wasn’t like she had been in town for any of them, anyway. okay, not being able to leave was kind of a nightmare, and feeling alone was, for sure. but she was trying to stay optimistic. or at least - optimistic adjacent.
coffee in one hand, phone in the other to confirm meetings and the rest of her schedule, brooke hadn’t paid much attention until someone stepped in front of her. honestly, it was a miracle she didn’t drop something. a snarky comment rose to her tongue, but she bit it down, especially once they started talking. looking for people. yeah, brooke had been promised someone too, but memories had reminded her how impossible that seemed.
to her credit, brooke tried to keep up with what she was saying, but it was way easier said than done. “i’m gonna be honest, i only understood about half of those words.” she spoke a moment later, forehead creasing between her eyebrows. someone that could change size, and a . . . raccoon? and whatever a luphomoid was. god, she missed noah. a horror junkie, yes, but he might have an easier time understanding the phrases, even if it did spawn a monologue. “but i haven’t met anyone with those names,” brooke continued, letting out a small sigh, her expression softening slightly. “sorry.”

SCORPIUS & PHOEBE.
“ This is your bright idea of a plan?@sumcvivus (scorpius)
“ i mean unless you came up to a better one i would love to hear it . but as i recall i didn’t see you coming up with one .” phoebe didn’t like it when people questioned her plans .
well, he didn’t have a better one, but that wasn’t the point. magic was coming back to him, in pieces, but always like muscle memory. if it came down to it, scorpius knew that he could use it to fix whatever they were about to get into, but that was the thing: would it be worth it? “alright, fine.” he sighed, holding his hands up, sweeping one out in front of him. “let’s try it your way, then.”

EMMETT & CASSIDY.
Cassidy shrugged slightly when he noticed the other’s smile. He personally wasn’t a fan of skydiving but he wasn’t going to judge him for being interested in it. “Yeah, skydivin’. It’s not exactly my ’ cup of tea ’ but it’s better than sittin’ on ye arse doin’ nothing.” A faint sigh escaped him as he thought back on the last time he’d been in a plane. It hadn’t been all that bad until he found out that the other passengers on the flight had been vampire hunters which had lead to a rather kick ass fight but when the fight was over he’d had to jump out of the plane before it crashed and without a parachute the result hadn’t been pretty. “Yer welcome. If ye have any more questions I can try my best to answer them… I’ve still got a couple of hours until I have to start my shift at the bar.”
Falling out of a plane wasn’t exactly fighting with bears, but it was something. And if there was no way out of Woodshore, Emmett was going to need whatever he could get. “You could say that again. I think I’d go insane sitting around too long,” he admitted, the same easy going grin remaining a fixture on his face. Hard to get rid of, really -- it didn’t do him any good to spend eternity taking life too seriously. Other than the rare blimp of a year spent trying to keep Bella alive and dealing with Edward’s moping being even worse ( which was possible, apparently ), at least. The other’s offer was hard to ignore; most things Emmett needed to know, he could gather pretty easily, but it all went back to one simple thing: he got bored easily. “Did you have something weird happen to your memories when you got here?” Emmett asked, barely having to think about it. From what he could tell, it had to be common enough, if it had happened to him and continued to affect Alice.

BROOKE & ELLE.
elle smiled at the young girl’s inquisitive expression and fished her badge out of her pocket as ways of explanation. “it comes with the territory. technically, i’m here on duty, but…” she trailed off as she took another bite of the treat in her hand, her smile growing as she chewed. “i couldn’t help myself. it gets kind of boring just sitting here and watching everyone.” she turned her eyes back to the crowd with a roll of them. “you would not believe how many people i’ve had to explain the no shirt, no service rule to.”
a blonde eyebrow raised in understanding while brooke nodded, letting out a quiet laugh. “more power to you. i'd get too bored to stick around, even if it was my job.” she admitted, letting the grin remain on her face. it couldn’t be helped - she wasn’t emma. there was no reason for her to feel an aversion to law enforcement, not so strongly anyway. glancing around, brooke nodded, rolling her eyes. “yeah, that checks out. how sober were those people?”

DAVINA & ASTRID.
“It was that or popcorn,” Astrid said dryly, shaking her head a bit. “Thanks. And my family-we’re a bunch of monster hunters back home, but since there isn’t any monsters around, we go on hunting trips up in the mountains some weekends, and we’ll hunt deer, maybe train a bit, and also having one weird family camping trip.” she explained.
“I think I’d have taken the popcorn.” Davina remarked with a slight grin, an eyebrow raising curiously as she listened to the words. “Monsters like what?” She asked, unable to stop herself. Monsters existed everywhere, she knew; vampires, werewolves, hybrids. They weren’t all monstrous, but all the same. Letting out a laugh, Davina nodded. “I’ve never been camping, so I can only imagine. I mean, I’ve done the whole ‘spend time at cabin in the woods’ thing, but I don’t think that counts.”

EMMETT & ALICE.
@sumcvivus - emmett cullen
‘ i mean , it must be scary . terrifying , really . to discover that you can do something that you never thought you could do . ’
nodding, alice tried to not look as uncomfortable as she felt over how much she’d learned about her abilities since coming to woodshore. most of it had been on her own, finally having to credit her visions to actually being something of the near or further away future, changing and definite all the same. but everything else she’d started to learn. “since you know me, how old am i really, then?” she asked, looking up at him.
it was unnerving to see alice this way, to have her not remember him - not to even remember herself. sure, his memories had been messed up too, but once he got to woodshore all that changed. “when you found the family, it had been thirty years since you were turned,” emmett told her, doing the math in his head. most times, their ages all blurred together - what did it matter in the grand scheme of things? - but he owed it to his sister. “and that was back in the 50s.”
