"Hey, um, I'm sorry this isn't exactly an ideal date." Jason mumbled, eyes fixated on the rubbly parking lot ahead of him.

To be completely honest, he wasn't exactly wrong. Well - on the whole 'ideal' side of things. Ideal being not sat outside a drive thru on his motorcycle, not exactly built for seating two facing one another, in a secluded yet somewhat noisy area of Gotham.

But who decided what was considered ideal or not?

That was the moment you were able to almost examine him, taking in every slight moment you had to take in his features. After all: You never knew how long you had until ‘duty called’.

The robin suit, slightly torn at this point, clad his solid chest. Being only in his teenage years, his build was more than admirable. His jaw was unclenched yet tight, sharply outlining his face shape. His heterochromia irises were a deep blue, fading to green at the pupils in the dull light. They mesmerisingly contrasted with his recently-dyed black mop of hair, light curls dusting his forehead like moisture on a flower petal.

It was hard to believe he was yours.

As if Jason had sensed your eyes on him, which he probably did, he turned to meet you. Grin crawling up on his face, he held his hand up and left it hovering above your skin. All you could feel was the surprisingly warm heat, that you had became accustomed to from him, that radiated off his palm as he gave his form of asking for consent.

His hand brushed against your jaw, cupping it as his thumb ran across your skin after you gave a slight nod to let him know it was okay. No matter how many times he had kissed you, or came into contact in any way, he always asked for permission. A cute gesture for his character, really.

The before wrapper paper in his hand now crumpled to a ball, Jason let it fall to the ground near his wheels as all his attention was now on you.

Reaching out to take hold of his other hand, that had been rested on his kneecap, you turned fully to focus on him.

“It’s more than ideal, Jay,” You replied. “Anywhere I’m with you is a dream come true, and you know that.”

He chuckled at the finger you had pointed at him with your free hand, which was quickly taken by his own, previously on your jaw. The lack of touch was longing for a short while, however replaced with the sensation of his hands on yours.

Holding hands with Jason was a feeling you’d never get over. It sounded stupid, really. Childish. But it meant the world to you both.

Your hands acted as a sort of reminder that you were there, for Jason. And, to you, that he was safe.

It was an unspoken kind of thing that went a long way, to say the least.

“I love you,” His eyes were now completely on your own. “You know that, right?”

You let your fingertips brush over his warm skin. “Of course I do. And I love you too, Todd. More than anything.”

As he leaned forward, capturing you in a deep kiss, all you could consider was the fact that he was there with you.

And, right there in that small Gotham parking lot-as the sirens blared in the distance and the wind howled in synchronisation, you realised that Jason Todd was all you had ever needed.

Of course, the thought had always been there, however never expressed to yourself.

And the feelings were more than reciprocated in the completely mutual aspect. A relieving thought, at that.

Even though you were dating the Robin, magnificent sidekick of Batman himself, everything seemed ideal in the instant. As if nothing could ever go wrong.

Oh, how little did you know…

Damian wayne headcanon:

- he runs a cartel but instead of drugs its for homework

- he becomes a kingpin for selling homework Answers

- he basically owns the school

- when the rumors first started going around of damian being the leader of an underground homework cartel no one believed it

- until they started noticing the amount of homework he had tripled overnight

- and all the candy stashed in his room ( there was a lot )

- damian denied all accusations of course and since no one had any solid proof they couldn't really stop him

- Jason almost died ( again ) because he couldn't breathe from laughing so much...when he stopped eventually he threatened to unalive anyone who tried to mess with his business

- dick didn't know whether to be proud of damian for making sort of friends or to be disappointed because he was basically a dealer at this point

- dick decided to opt for the more positive option and congratulated damian for making friends

- bruce was horrified

- tim was impressed...a little scared but mostly impressed

- he even offered to help damian with his homework cartel for fun

- this made bruce even more horrified

- steph and cass helped make damian a cute design for his business ( they just barged into his room one day and started throwing around ideas to each other completely ignoring damians multiple death threats )

- Barbara coded him an untraceable web page so he could do online transactions without getting hacked

- duke became his muscle cause he worked during the day anyway

- Alfred packed extra snacks for damian and his new friends

- I'm pretty sure bruce started crying that night

I was actually torn if I’ll make it cute like お兄ちゃん/Oniichan or go for the informal archaic 兄者/Anija. I settled with the formal one cause Damian will definitely need to match the Sengoku-feel of the place.( ✧Д✧)♡
