It’s totally fine to not like a release from one of your favourite artists (I literally have a BTS tattoo and hate On) but I think it’s kinda weird when you take your criticism beyond the music itself and start being a dick to the idols that made the music, the idols you claim to be a fan of. Yes this is specifically about some Stays being real shitty about Karma. Like you can just say, “man, this isn’t for me and I’m kinda disappointed. I’m not gonna listen to this album”. There are ways to dislike something and not be shitty and personal about it. Or if you wanna be an extreme vitriolic hater you don’t have to post it publicly save it for the group chat.

I’ve never been a Superman fan, however, I am currently lying in bed rewatching Superman 2025, because I am struggling so much, I’m in so much pain constantly, and I need some hope because I’m looking down the barrel of my life right now and am feeling hopeless. And this superhero movie that I just casually watched a few days ago is like a little sunflower in a field of withered weeds has given me a pocket of unexpected hope and joy. Kindness and compassion *is* punk rock. Thanks Supes. I really needed that.
