Misha:
Misha nodded “Thanks!” He called out and nodded, flipping backwards with ease. “Be careful, there seems to be no end to them,” He admitted and sprinted at another horde of monsters, bashing it in a skull “I’m gonna blast it with lightning, get outta the way!”
She fired a series of arrows in quick succession. Letting each one fly with practised ease. Renata smiled as each arrow head found it’s target and pierced the monsters’ hides. When he told her to get out of the way, Renata did something she hadn’t tried in a long time. She never had been good at using the air currents, but needs must. She managed to ‘jump’ several feet, far enough that she was well out of any blast radius.

Misha:
Misha, being somewhat brazen, threw himself into a horde of large skeletal warriors, brandishing Meteo quickly and bashing the bones with lightning infused strikes. Though he moved quickly and gracefully, one of the skeletons managed to bash him in the back with a mace, causing Misha to go flying forward. “Shit!”
She barely has time to move out of the way, as the boy barrelled forward. Drawing the bow, Renata shot. The arrow pierced the skeletal warrior. Quickly, Renata grabbed another arrow and kept the bow held high. “You can thank me later.” said Renata, the string of the bow snapping as she let another arrow fly. “You alright?" she asked, tucking stray strands of hair behind her ear.

“I’m willing to learn.” Massie nodded, determined to know how to use more weapons than swords. “How long—” she was going to ask how long has she been using a bow but Massie remembered the other girl was a Huntress. “I mean, how long did it take you to be good with it?”
“Lets go get you a bow then,” Renata placed her bow down carefully, and brushed her hands against her shirt. She looked back over her shoulder when Massie cut herself off. “It took a while, it helped that the hunters have natural archery skills. But there were a few misguided arrows.” She admitted to Massie. She glanced at the girls hands, “left or right- which is your dominant hand?”

“Oh, sorry Renata. I thought it was some small camper. I would actually like that, probably need to give this a little spin.”
“No need to apologise,” said Ren, her lips quirking upwards into a half smirk. “I figured you’d be interested. So shall we? No point in hanging around your bedroom all day, as interesting as your cabin is.”

“Is there a reason you’re knocking on my bedroom? Unless it’s death, go away.” Elsie rolled her eyes and continued to clean her scythe.
“I’ve lived sixty years, I’d prefer you didn’t cut those short, quite literally. I’m here because I wanted to know if you’d like to train.”

massie-reynolds:
Massie quietly watched the Camper pulled the string. The arrow landed nicely with a thud on the target, and all she could think of was what she planned to do for the coming war was shoot arrows somewhere and let the iced arrows do their thing. If she ran out of arrows, she wouldn`t want to fight on the front lines but to help the others distract monsters enough for them to deliver the killing blow. “Can you teach me that?”
She’d known she’d gathered an audience, but she needed the practice and letting arrows fly in quick succession was a way to work off some steam too. There was a war coming, and Renata needed to be prepared. This wasn’t the same as with the fog, where minimal force was acceptable. "If you’re willing to learn, then I suppose I might be able to.” Said Renata, lowing her hunter’s bow. “It’s not as easy as it looks.”

Send 🙊 for my muse to confess an embarrassing secret
“I shot a fellow hunter in the foot once, and blamed it on our enemy. I don’t think they believed me, but she never confronted me and I never told a soul.”

demigodoftheday:
“Summer is too hot!” Elias frowned and then looked at the book “Which book is that?” He glanced at the title “Oh, I’ve heard all about that book, it’s weirdly about sex and everything! I don’t like any of that….”
“Well that’s rather dependent on where you are in the world. I don’t think Iceland would call summer hot, nor the English for that matter.” Renata said. Her hands held the book, dark hues cast onto the unassuming cover. “Yes, it’s a terrible read, I’m only a chapter in and the grammar and protagonist are so jarringly bad that I think I may have to give up.” She was quite happy to admit defeat when it came to this one book. Though, she thought, she’d won. “You and I have that in common, I mean not many people can look this good and say they’re a sixty year old virgin.”

demigodoftheday:
“Don’t you just love the springtime?” Elias smiled.
Glancing up from the book in her lap, some fiction she’d been handed and told it was the best book in the world, she hummed at the boy. “No, not really. I prefer summer,” said Renata, glancing back down at the literary atrocity that was Fifty Shades of Grey. “And I think that blonde may have thought she was being funny when she recommended I read this.”

“Yes, just because I am a new face to you, doesn’t mean I would be wooed by your disgusting charms.” Elsie stated, holding a camper’s arm twisted behind his back. “Now touch me again, and you’ll be put in the infirmary.” She stepped back and let him go, watching the idiot sulk off. Turning around, she put her hands on her hips as she noticed the person behind her.
“What? I had stepped back in camp for thirty seconds before he pounced.”
Renata prepared herself to step in, glaring at the boy’s back with a severity she held only for the most despicable of men. She found the glare slipping. An almost impressed expression took it’s place, one she battered down when the red head looked at her. Shrugging in indifference, her gaze flicked to the retreating male. “With an attitude like that,” said Renata slowly, “you could be a hunter.” She she looked at the other girl, sorrow flitted across the hunter’s gaze. She reminded Renata of a hunter she once knew.

wildspiritclayton:
“I’d rather not. You see, the training grounds is the best place to read. It’s calm here.”
She looks away, if only to disguise the quick roll of her eyes. “That’s your choice, however I don’t agree. I’d say this is probably the most chaotic place in camp, but if you want to risk getting hit by an arrow, be my guest.” She gestures to the bow in hand. “I promise my aim has improved, but us Huntress’ tend to get a bit temperamental in the presence of men.”

Clayton side-eyed the other person, “Can you not?”
“And can you not tell me what to do, I’ve got to get target practice in, and if that bothers you, go and sit somewhere else.” Renata snapped, glaring at the raven haired boy.
