  WHY:

OMG. You have no idea what’s about to hit you. Full on collision with the techno monster – Adam Beyer.   WHY:

A Norwegian Prodigy.A current day, Thor, if you will. Orjan is on a mission, whether in the studio or in the DJ booth, to blow apart minds and destroy anyone that would rather stand around and look cool, than dance.   We know that in Sunburn Festivals you have way too much fun and sometimes forget about the necessities in life. You burn a lot of calories while dancing. You’ll need to replenish.

We’ve got the go-to’s: Barista for some go-juice, Dominos for that comfort slice and the 96 calorie Subway for you six-pack maintaining Burners. And plenty of local fare: Chinese food, cupcakes, kebabs, chicken tikka& more. Fancy acup of tea, anyone? You can grab that too.

SAFETY

  We are not going to let anything happen to you.

Sunburn headquarters strongly believes in doing whatever it takes to ensure your safety. We’ve got your back. But, we ask you to help us with this. We always have and always will enforce a strict, zero-tolerance policy on the use of illegal substances. To ensure you drink responsibly, Sunburn has made available LDA bands, which entitle only people above the legal drinking age to have access to alcohol at the venue and shall be issued on display of a valid proof.

Sunburn is happy to see the growing number of ladies rocking their Girl Power during our gigs and festivals (You boys better watch out – the girls know how to make the front row look goooood!). As is our pleasure – we always special bars for the girls (the nice ones carry an extra back for their ‘favorite friends’), as well as female security personnel ensuring a safe environment for women.

AFTER PARTIES

  The rules tell us to stop at 10pm, and we believe it’s a perfect time to call it a day for the festival. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to let you stop dancing!

November 15thafter-the-party-party witnesses Sunburn Resident DJ and India’s youngest export – SHAAN - take over the console at one of the finest venues in the city of Mumbai, Royalty.He’s come back from London to keep you on your feet all night long. The kids knows his music.

The next day, November 16th, will rock the city’s favorite live venue -Blue Frog – with the earth-shattering music (once of the many reasons for our trip to Planet Sunburn!) of DJ Earthling.

Shailendra Singh at The Game-Changers Panel

It was a proud day for Sunburn at the Amsterdam Dance Event. Sunburn participated in the Global ADE Intern Program and we are glad to announce that one lucky person would be interning at Sunburn Goa 2013 with us. Shailendra Singh gave a lecture on Event Management and was a part of The Game-Changers Panel too. So how was the experience ?

Says Singh, " At first, it was intimidating to be part of such a talented couch, but very soon, the energies got united for the common cause of music. From storytelling to confession to some hard-hitting facts, I surely believe this panel discussion was a game changer as the name goes. I'm very happy to have 5 new friends in the world of music. ADE for me, is the united world of music and people."

So what was his best moment ? " Definitely when Giorgio gave me a fist bump and Nile gave me a high-five."

Armin Van Buuren announces Armin Only-Intense World Tour

Trance God Armin Van Buuren announced his upcoming world tour at ADE. The tour would start from November 2013 and would go on till September 2014 with breaks in between. 

The new world tour is inspired by Armin’s latest album, ‘Intense’. Armin explains: ”Unlike today, now that it’s all based on short sets and quick highlights, it used to be all about the long sets, the musical trips. That’s what Armin Only is based on – to take the clubbers on a 6+ hour journey into music. Through the Armin Only – Intense shows, I can tell them the full story of my ‘Intense’ album – in fact of everything I’d like to say.”

It's going to be a completely unconventional and fresh approach to an electronic dance music show. Armin says:  “The basis of Armin Only will always be a DJ set but to make it more interesting for the crowd, I’m going to try and really make the live moments almost like you would witness them in a theater!”
