Sunday had to admit, it felt good to be relaxing and actually enjoying doing something she loved with her dear friend Juliette, even if she did have the thought about work still sat on the back of her mind, it was like there was a tiny devil sat on her shoulder constantly. Sunday laughed, nodding her head in agreement as she too thought some water in between wine would be a good idea, and her head would most likely thank her in the morning for it. "This is why we're friends, who else would encourage me to drink wine and water." Sunday felt the back of her throat go fuzzy at the sound of Juliette's words, it was easy to feel forgotten in her line of work as it just becomes so normal to be there, but it felt like her words had her in a chokehold and soon enough Sunday knew the tears would come flowing after. "Lettie. You're going to make me cry and I'm not sure that's a good look in the middle of a winery." She let a soft giggle escape her lips as small drops of tears ran down her cheeks, her hand quickly moving to rub them away before she really let it all out.
"I mean, every girl deserves to be treated and spoilt of course, especially you, but take this as some advice, Doctors don't make great dates. We're always mega busy." She laughed once again, her head shaking as she always worried she could never be there enough for Nasir, definitely something that held her back from expressing her feelings to him, she knew he deserved her full attention. "That's what I'm here for, to big up your ego." Sunday smiled against the rim of her wine glass before taking another sip, her eyes instantly filling with tears again due to the fact Juliette was also crying. Attempting to compose herself, Sunday's cheeks instantly turned the same shade as the blush rosé in her glass at Juliette's questions, the corners of her lips turning up as she couldn't help but smile. "You know Nasir right? Well, he and I slept together." She paused. "In my office. At the hospital." She tried to keep herself composed but she couldn't stop another giggle leaving her lips, it was like she was back in high school getting giddy over a crush. "Just once, but like, more than once if you catch my drift."
There was warmth settling into Juliette's demeanor now. Warmth and a smidge of unhingedness as one does from consuming flights and flights of wine. Juliette picked up a small cup that had water on it, winking over in Sunday's direction as she said, "It's not a surprise wine, but I think my liver might thank me for it later." She chuckled softly. But soon enough her hand was in Sunday's, and she took in her plea with as much loyalty and sincereness as she could muster. "No, no, Sunnie, I know you'd never fully disappear unless something major occurred. This is why we get along so well, we just don't even see it until we're in it. But these kids need you, and you rise to that challenge," She squeezed her hand back, "And I don't think I tell you enough just how much I admire you for your line of work, what you sacrifice, and how you still show up." There were tears welling up in her brown eyes but she dabbed at them quickly. This wine was strong. They needed heavier food stat.
A chorus of laughter fell between the two then as Juliette found herself being put on a pedestal versus the male doctors at Sunday's job. "I mean, not to be that girl, if he wants to treat me and spoil me who I am to say no?" Juliette teased. Though she didn't need any person to do those things for her, as she was never one to want someone for what they can pay for, it always mattered what their actions told when the time came to it. "Sunnie, my ego is going to be sky high before the afternoon even ends," And then the tears were back. It'd been tough dealing with the blow after blow of setbacks, but Juliette hadn't thought to vent in real time because everything always seemed fine, it had to be didn't it? Taking another sip of water and finally putting in an order for more tapas, Juliette nearly choked on the drink as Sunday confirmed she was telling just the smallest white lie. "Rub it in my face," Juliette began, holding up a finger, "I know how that sounds but girl do I look like I care? Who? What? When? How? Many times? Once?"

Sunday didn't want to bear thinking about this encounter being over, she was completely all in and it was the pure bliss she had been dreaming about for years. However, the after thought scared the hell out of her, what did this mean for the two of them? Sunday had and probably never will be, very good at expressing her feelings with words yet this was not something that could just be swept under the rug for another day. They were going to have to talk afterwards and what Sunday needed was reassurance that this wasn't all made up in her mind.
A smirk still sat firmly on her lips as she kept eye contact with him, her breath slow and steady as she just took all of him in whilst her back stayed firmly arched. A gentle whimper left her lips as he pulled out of her, her legs still trembling from his touch as she shuffled slightly to get more comfortable. Biting down on her bottom lip whilst he grabbed her ass cheeks, she moved her hand to place it on top of his, gripping it tightly as she felt his mouth against her wet pussy. "It's all for you baby." She moaned, her hips beginning to grind against his mouth, her nails digging into his hand. "Fuck, you feel so good."
The entire encounter replayed through his mind and he wondered how they got here. How they got to him bare-backing her against her desk. The escalation of events was insane, however, he wouldn't change a single things about it. Not any of it. His feelings for Sunday have manifested within him for YEARS. This was the final release of them and dammit if it didn't feel so good. No, they hadn't actually talked about anything but it was officially all on the table - literally. He'd even let those three little words slip. Yes, he'd meant them. Meant them with his entire being, but he hadn't meant to voice it the way that he had. The last thing that he wanted to do was scare her off.
His muscular chest rose and fell rapidly as he tried to catch his breath. The lust in the air still tense around them. Releasing her hair, he watched her closely as she reached between them and tasted. This was surely a side of Sunday that he had never seen before and at her command, he groaned. "Yes ma'am." He wasn't going to lick her fingers or reach and get a lick of his own. No, he wanted it straight from the source. Sliding out of her, Nas squatted down, his hands splayed on her ass as he spread. He grinned like a mad-man as he gazed upon her pretty pink pussy. "Damn," he moaned and kissed her ass check before his face was between her legs as he lapped at her.

There was a slight relaxation in Sunday's posture as she started to settle into their conversation, it was clear this wasn't going to be a short lived encounter and that she should probably accept they would be chatting for a while. Her hand moved to play with the loose strand of hair, twisting it round her finger as another coping mechanism whilst she digested what AJ was saying. If she was honest, she had tried to put what happened between them to the very back of her mind, it was the past and that was something she was working on leaving behind, but standing here now with him in front of her made that action incredibly difficult.
"Well, at least your ego will still be in tip top shape for all your fans." Sunday laughed softly, before realising he had stopped still in his tracks, turning to face him with her brow raised slightly. Her foot began to tap ever so gently on the floor as she tried to keep eye contact with him, knowing he was being sincere and she didn't want to disrespect that. "Aiden, I do, I mean, I would like to talk about it.. clear things up and stuff." She sighed, her lips pursing as she thought about what she wanted to do, or even say to him. "I'm not sure I could hit you, and I'd never smear your name or air your dirty laundry AJ. Of course I feel hurt, angry even. But that's not me. No matter what happened or whatever your reasoning behind it all is, I'd never drag your name through the dirt just to spite you." She shrugged her shoulders, reading her hand out to place on his lower arm gently, hoping to get across that she was also being genuine. "We can talk here, or if you really want we could meet somewhere else once I've finished my shift but I can't promise I won't fall asleep then."
The shift in conversation helped ease AJ into talking to Sunday but it definitely didn't make the guilty conscious go away. He knew he'd have to bring it up to Sunday eventually but it felt wrong to do it in her workplace. This was her job and it wasn't Grey's Anatomy, so there was no need to bring her personal life into it. Part of AJ knew that Sunday was thinking the same thing and probably talking to herself about how weird this all seemed. It was their first genuine interaction in over a decade that didn't result in one of them running away. Maybe it was because he was 30 or maybe it was because he had so much more responsibility now but either way, he was tired of not owning up to things.
The blonde shook his head, "Don't worry about it. Like I said, it wont bruise my ego." He thought about her last words and figured he could address it without addressing it. He stopped in his tracks for a moment, turning to face her. It was probably the first time he wanted to look her in the eyes, just so she could know he was being genuine. She didn't have to believe him but he wanted to at least try. "Can I say something really quick and then we can put it aside?" He asked despite knowing fully well he was going to say it anyways. "I want to talk about what happened. I think you deserve it. You deserve to call me out and tell me I was an idiot and an asshole. You deserve to hit me, if you feel like it'd help. You deserve to have anything you want from me -," he paused as he felt the anger for her, which was weird because AJ had compassion but he didn't typically feel it against himself. His face softened, "But you also deserve to have all the privacy you want and I don't think we should have this conversation in your place of work. While I don't care if you smear my name or my dirty laundry gets aired out, I do care if your life falls into shambles, so the call is completely yours." He had done the 'thing'. Now it was in her court.

@juliettevarona
Sunday pressed her lips together listening to Juliette explain how long they hadn't seen each other, had it really been that long she thought, time was never on Sunday's side and it was easy for her to lose track of what was what. "Shit, has it really been three weeks? Oh Lettie, I'm so sorry." Her expression dulled as she reached her hand out to Juliette, squeezing it softly whilst she pondered on the thought of being a bad friend. "Honestly, next time I start disappearing again please drag me out that hospital, I don't want to be that friend and you know what I'm like." Shaking her head, Sunday nibbled on her bottom lip before offering Juliette a soft laugh. "Hm, I think you're too good for those hot shot doctors who think they're all that. That's also true, I'm not sure I could date someone I work with too." Her shoulders shrugged, reaching for another glass of rosé, that seemed to be a firm favourite of hers this afternoon.
Her eyelashes fluttered as she listened to Juliette express her concerns, trying to keep herself from welling up at the thought of her friend struggling. She truly was proud of the woman, it can't be an easy field to stick to and Sunday once again felt guilty that she wasn't around for her as much as she should be. "You're one of the baddest bitches I know Lettie, those men should be grateful they even get to share the kitchen with you." A small chuckle escaped her mouth, her fingers tapping the bottom of the wine glass before she finished the small amount of liquid left in the bottom. "You mean you're telling me Jette is going to a wedding in Hawaii and he didn't even invite me? Girl, that man is in trouble. But yes, totally fuck that wedding up if they're going to be that stingy." She rolled her eyes, a playful pout sitting on her lips. Realising she was a terrible liar and her face was telling a thousand other things than the words leaving her lips, and the fact Juliette was using her nickname, Sunday squeezed her eyes shut and took a deep breath. "Damn, I really need to work on this whole bluffing thing don't I? Okay okay, I mean, I didn't want to like, rub it in or anything. Something.. or someone shall I say, definitely cheered me up."
Placing three fingers up, Juliette said, "That's how many weeks we've been apart, Sunnie." A small pout appears on her lips then, to further dramatize just how long that was for both of the women. "Another week and I really would have considered something extreme." She teased, before shaking her head. Eyebrow quirked up then as Sunday explained there were plenty hot and eligible doctors at the hospital, "Anyone you think would be my type?" She winked at the notion, "Though maybe it's better not to mix business with pleasure, especially if things go south." If there was anything Juliette had garnered with her time in Cape May after everything had blown up in Arizona for her, it was to remain cautious. To flash the thoughts away, Juliette downed a decent glass of white wine, relishing in the after taste as she asked the waiter to grab a bottle and keep it chilled. She fanned herself then, feeling some heat forming on her cheeks from the drinks, she knew it was going to be a battle getting the two of them out of there by the end of the afternoon.
Every time Sunday used her nickname, it almost always brought a sheen of tears to her eyes. The statement that followed only furthering the feeling as she nodded. "I know, I know! I do my mantras, I tell myself I'm a bad bitch and all of that, but sometimes..." She blew out an exhale. "I don't know, I knew signing up for this in a predominantly male-led field I would have so much to contend with, but it doesn't mean I don't wish I were smacking people around with frying pans to make a point." Knowing Sunday was proud was all that she needed, or at least mostly what she needed. Tilting her head to the side, she chuckled as she explained, "Jette's distant family friend I think? I only remembered there's a cash bar and they're stingy as hell. So I might practice brujeria and curse the matrimony as their gift." She shrugged. Then Juliette clocked Sunday's tell, the one where she spoke so freely but laden with half truths. "Wait a second... you are especially cheery today. And it can't be all me," She teased. "Sunnie, are you holding out on me here?"

It seemed Sunday had a tendency of choosing friends who always ran late, she was often the first one to arrive at wherever they were meeting and it constantly looked as if she was being stood up, although she didn’t mind so much as it always gave her a bit of time to just sit back and take in her surroundings. Relaxing back on the blanket to lean on her elbows, Sunday took in the world around her, she loved to people watch so this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Focusing in on watching a man attempt to get his dog out the sea, with the dog thoroughly refusing, Sunday couldn’t help but chuckle to herself, she had always wanted a dog but her job just didn’t allow her the time right now.
Startling slightly as Jette arrived, Sunday glanced up at him and offered him a gentle smile. “Oh don’t worry darling, I was just watching that man try to get his dog out of the water, it seems he’s having none of it.” She laughed, sitting up from her elbows and shuffling on the blanket. “News? I’m intrigued.” Smiling softly, Sunday took a leaf out of Jette’s book and ran her hand through the sand, circling it round as she rolled her eyes. “You and your sand facts. Go on, enlighten me.”
It seemed every time he had to meet up with Sunday, he was always running late. Something that by now he was sure she was used to. He made sure everything was settled at the bar before he left to go meet up with his best friend. He fidgeted with the strap of the slung bag over his shoulder and tried to get his breathing under control as he spotted her. A smile crossed his features as he slowly approached. He felt his necklace band smack against his chest as he walked over.
"I'm so sorry I am late. Had a few last minute things to take care of. You're all ready for beach day. I got some news for you but I'm gonna make you work for it first." He laughed not really meaning it as he took a seat. Eyes scanning over the beach and feeling the sand between his fingers. A habit he had yet to break from childhood. "I got a sand fact. You wanna hear it?"

Sunday often let her mind wonder to imagine life with Nasir fully, the whole living together, officially putting a label on themselves. If she was honest, that was all she had thought about since basically knowing Nas, she wanted that life with him yet she has never found the words to tell him. Those three words also continuously ran through her mind every time she saw Nas, she wanted to say them to him with every part of her being, especially as he had already said them in the height of their encounter, but before she could confess to him how she felt, she needed to know it was for real and not just lust taking over.
Sunday moaned louder as she reached her orgasm, her head falling back with his hand firmly gripping her hair as her legs trembled beneath her. "Oh.. Fuck." As her walls tightened around his dick it felt like she was losing her mind, god he felt so good so deep inside her and as soon as she felt him reach his peak her hips naturally slowed, still rolling against him but more intensely. She turned her head to catch his gaze as she felt him cum inside her, a smirk on her face whilst she moved one hand to to his wet dick before licking her fingers slowly. "Mhm, damn you taste good." Her voice was husky as he leant over her, her body still fizzing with sensitivity from his touch. The feel of his dick still inside her encouraged her to let a moan escape her lips, her hips grinding against him as she ached so desperately for his touch again. "Tell me how I taste.." She whispered, a glint in her eye as she bossed him around.
Looking back on it, he always knew they'd end up here. From the very beginning that spark between them was electric. Almost as if it was written in the stars. Nasir wasn't the type to believe in the red strings of fate or soulmates but in the moment no one would tell him that Sunday wasn't his end all and be all. He had a bit of a tendency to be guarded and not let people in easily but Sunday had climbed over his walls and made herself right at him within them. She didn't feel like an intruder. She was a welcomed guest. Looking down at her as she gripped the edge of the desk, he bit his lap. A very welcomed guest.
The sight of the curve of her back and the bouncing of her bountiful ass against his abs was sending him to height he'd never knew were reachable before. His hand gripped her hair firmly as he pounded. "God damn," he shuddered from the feeling of her reaching her peak. He could feel her walls contracting around him, pulling him further into her depths. "Shit," he panted out as she forced him over the edge with her. His hips jerked as he spilled into her until he slowed to a halt. Fireworks were dancing behind his closed eyelids and when he opened them, he gazed down at her with a breathy smirk. Leaning over her, he ran his tongue up the curve of her spine before dropping a kiss upon her shoulder, still very much nestled inside of her.

Sunday could see his whole demeanour shift as he relaxed in their conversation, although it had been years since they really knew each other, she could still work out his body language just as well as before. As much as she wanted to let her guard down to him and maybe even catch up on each other's lives, Sunday still had what happened between them untouched in the back of her mind. She tried hard to not sit on the past as it was something she was still working on, but without AJ having addressed the issue, she struggled to see past it.
"Sorry.. that came across rude. That's not who I am, I guess nearly twenty-four hours without sleep isn't doing me any good." She moved her hand to fiddle with her necklace, nodding her head as he gestured for her to lead the way. Taking a slow walk, Sunday stood not far from AJ, but still far enough away to keep her distance so he couldn't hear her quiet mutters to herself as she tried to muster up what she wanted to say to him. She turned to look at him, her eyebrow raising, she was glad he was trying to turn this encounter into something more upbeat, but she couldn't help but feel guilty that she may have offended him with that comment. "Oh, right of course. I didn't mean it that way, there's nothing wrong with your looks. I uh, I guess I was just trying to get out of sticking around, if I'm honest. You know me, pretty much always flight over fight."
AJ could feel some tension ease from his shoulders once he saw the smile form on her face. The ring on his finger felt at ease from being turned and his features softened a bit. It really was that easy to just have a conversation with someone. This was probably one of the first things he ever should’ve done the first time he saw her post their break-up fiasco but he was young then. He didn’t know any better and to be honest, he felt it was easier to avoid the problem than to deal with it. He definitely owed her an apology and that would come eventually but he should probably learn to talk to the present Sunday and stop expecting her to be the past one.
The blonde tried to keep in mind that her comment was likely an attempt at a joke. They didn’t understand each other the way they once did but even though a long time had passed, he never thought Sunday would change into someone heartless. He let out a semi-awkward laugh to show he wasn’t taking it to heart. AJ nodded enthusiastically. He had worked up an appetite of his own so it was a welcome meal for multiple reasons. “You lead the way. This is your show - I’m just following along,” he stated, positioning his hands in front of him as a way for her to lead the way. “I’d like to add that you tried to say you weren’t hungry anymore and that was only slightly offensive because I don’t think my looks cause people to lose their appetite - however, I understand other circumstances contributed so don’t worry, I won’t let it bruise my ego. Just thought you should know,” he offered, trying to make the conversation a little less tense and a bit more playful.

Sunday rolled her eyes as Juliette spoke, a small laugh following as she her nails tapped the bottom of the glass, pushing it away as the sour after taste hit her taste buds. “Alright, alright, now the after taste has hit I agree. That one was awful.” Sunday smiled as she watched Juliette move onto the next round of tasting, realising they were very quickly going to get rather tipsy, especially as Sunday remembered she hadn’t eaten much yet. “Girl, you are downing this wine like your mouth is drier than the Sahara desert.” She laughed, of course that was the whole reason they were there and the glasses weren’t huge, but whenever Sunday and Juliette got together to drink, it was a wild ride. Sunday scrunched her nose up as Juliette reminded her how little they see each other, her eye brow raising at her remark. “Oh come on, it hasn’t been that long since you last saw me. I’m always around!” She shrugged, realising the woman was in fact correct and that it seemed ending up at the hospital would more likely get you to see Sunday over anything else. Shaking her head, Sunday giggled, sending a wink Juliette’s way. “I mean, there’s a few handsome doctors around, not my type though.”
Sunday’s demeanour changed as Juliette explained her circumstances, she knew how hard the woman worked and she was always proud of her dedication. “You’re a rock star, Lettie. All this hard work will be worth it soon enough, I’m proud of you.” Sunday looked down at the glasses of wine in front of her, a solemn smile placed on her lips as she was reminded of the last conversation she had with her mother almost twenty years ago, yet it was still so fresh in the back of her mind. Shaking it off quickly and returning to offer Juliette another laugh, Sunday took a sip of a light blush rosé that took her fancy. “A wedding in Hawaii? Who’s wedding and where’s my invite?” Her nose crinkled as she tried to contain herself. She wanted to scream and shout across the rooftops about her encounter with Nasir, but she also wanted to be a good friend to Juliette and not rub it in her face. “Oh no, you’re not the only one.” Sunday bit down hard on her bottom lip, her face telling a whole different story to what left her mouth.
"S, the best potential this thing has is murdering a colony of ants." Juliette grimaced deeply at the mere sight of the glass. She took note of the name card for the origin and maker and she mentally noted to stay as far away as she could. Laughter fell from her lips then, especially as she continued to sip through the rest of the first flight before the next had been delivered, all of which were very promising. She held a glass and swirled it around, listening as Sunday explained where she had been mainly, not to her surprise in the slightest. "I contemplated trying to roll my ankle just to see you," Juliette teased, "But then I realized I'd probably be nowhere near your department and I'd be sorely disappointed. Or maybe intrigued if the doctor was hot." The woman winked.
But Juliette commiserated, though she loved her hours and loved the cafe more than anything at the moment, she was sure her added classes were going to make her go feral if she didn't get the smallest break. "We were down a chef this week so the steady rotation basically became a round of hot potato. Sometimes I'd get a clear shot of freedom, other times the other chef would practically bribe me to cover their morning even though they knew I worked the entire day the previous day." She began. "That and these pastry classes are killing me, don't get me wrong I love it, but my instructor is very French and VERY condescending." Mulling it over for a moment, she tried to think of what else was happening, "I might be going to Hawaii for a wedding, and I'm on the driest streak of my life for some fun underneath someone." She wiggled her brows knowing the woman would catch her drift. "Tell me I'm not alone in this?"

It was funny, Sunday had never really allowed herself to open up and be vulnerable with anyone else like she was with Nasir. Her walls were very much always built so high that at the first sign of weakness or vulnerability, her instinct was to run or shut off. Yet with Nas, she didn't feel the need to have her walls so high, slowly she was opening herself up to him and well now, it seemed her guard was very much down as she was bent over her office desk.
The sounds escaping from his mouth only turned her on even more, her own moans matching his volume and it pleased her to see how much he yearned for her as she pulled away, a little tip she'd keep in her back pocket moving forward. Sunday smirked as he slapped her ass cheek, her head tilting to the side so she could still slightly see his face, her tongue running along her bottom lip at the sight of him lined up behind her. The moment he slid his dick back inside her made her mind go wild, her hands instantly gripped the edges of the desk as she let him take control. "Oh fuck.." She moaned, her teeth sinking back into her lip as he pulled her head back, she was so close to reaching that orgasm and every word his growled was pushing her closer. "Nas.." She whimpered. "I'm so.. close." Her breathing became pants as her back arched, finally reaching her climax as her fingers curled against the desk.
Of all the things he knew intimately about Sunday, he had never known her this well until now. Like the way her body arched from pleasure, the way her moans were heaven sent, the way a single touch sent goose bumps shooting up her spine. And she was flexible. God, he was drooling over her. The way she gripped him like a hand-made glove was driving him insane. Her eyes were like a sirens call, pulling him deeper and deeper into the depths of her. His tongue rolled over his lips as he watched her hips undulate against his in the most tantalizing way.
The whimper of approval she fed him only egged him on as he worked his thumb over her expertly in conjunction with his thrusts. However, as she pulled away, he groaned at the loss of contact, his dick throbbing to be back inside of her. He shuffled back slightly, his eyes watching her like a hawk as she turned over, tooting her ass up for him. "God, damn," he moaned, slapping his large hand across her left cheek with little hesitation. He saddled up right on behind her, spat on his hand and rubbed it across his dick, before he spread her cheeks and slid back into her. His eyes rolling back from their new position.
His hands gripped her hips tightly as he used their new positioning to his advantage. His began driving into her, his hips slapping against her ass with each powerful stroke he had to offer. His hand smacking her ass in rhythm of their movements. "Cum on this dick," he spoke huskily as he grabbed a handful of her hair and gently pulled her head back.

Sunday wouldn't have usually given in to AJ's request so easily, if it had been any of their other encounters, she most likely would have just rolled her eyes and dismissed him. Not that being rude or offending him was her intentions, she was just tired from hearing all his usual excuses and she was stubborn to the core. She was taken aback slightly as he exclaimed he wouldn't push, what happened to the AJ she knew, well used to know. "Deal." A small smile crept it's way onto her lips as she glanced up, catching sight of his own smile perched on his face. It was then she had sudden flashbacks of the way they used to be around each other, it was fun, they were always laughing and she saw the true side to AJ, a person she now only got a slither of a glimpse of in their short encounters.
Sunday soon realised how fast her foot was striking the floor, she took a deep breath as she shuffled her feet once more to knock herself out of the tapping. There was no real reason why she felt so anxious all of a sudden, this wasn't the first time she had seen AJ since their whole fiasco all those years ago, yet this time it felt fresh, raw even. "Fine, I'll let you have your pity party then." It wasn't intended to come across as brazen as it did, she somewhat was trying to even joke with him, yet it felt she was failing massively. "Can we eat now? I'm actually starving..." She admitted, locking her eyes to the floor in front of her as she awaited his response.
The way his heart skipped a whole beat probably would've worried most cardiologists but he couldn't believe she agreed. Granted, he could be quite annoying and he had been told as much but he thought he would have to do a lot more to get her to even spend another 5 minutes with him let alone sit down for food with him. He nodded. "I won't push. If it means you'll sit down and eat, I'll let you pay." AJ was more than happy to let his face form into a small smile, even if this little moment was going to be short lived. He didn't think this moment would ever happen considering he had run into her before and never got to have these moments. He almost wanted to thank the sandwich for falling.
AJ could tell Sunday was a bit anxious considering she had been jackhammering the floor with her foot for a while now. Okay, fine, jackhammering was a stretch but it definitely felt that way on his end. His pent up anxiety involved twirling the ring on his finger so she definitely wasn't the only one stressing their interaction. "Sunday, I'll say this once and once only. The damn sky could fall and I'd still find a way to blame myself. Probably a piss poor excuse and some form of victimization but I'm working on it." he explained.

text message 📲 kiana & sunday
KIANA: No, no. Don't be worried. You know I get lost in my own little world sometimes. I promise. I'm alright. KIANA: BITCH, WHAT?! 😲 Don't just try to casually throw that in. KIANA: Who was it? In your office?! Ma'am. You're on the pediatric floor. 😂 KIANA: In time. I'm working overtime, lol. This woman named Delilah. Her dad apparently works at the Whitney Museum of American Art and if I can get her some of my new pieces, she might be able to add them into a new show. SUNDAY: Ok, only if you're sure. We need a girls day or even night out. I miss your face. SUNDAY: Ssssh, it's not a big deal, you make me feel all embarrassed 😳 SUNDAY: You mean you can't guess?? Also stop that, I was already shitting myself that someone would walk in or find out without you pointing out the obvious 😂 SUNDAY: You know how impatient I am, I love seeing your work!! Ooh, how exciting!! I'm stoked for you, you deserve it.

WHERE: Cape May beach front.
WHEN: Monday 22nd May.
WHO: Sunday Hatton & @jxttxs
Before heading back to her apartment following on from seeing Jette at the bar, Sunday swung by the cafe first to grab some sweet treats to take with her to the beach. She had to admit she did have a terrible sweet tooth, if there were ever a choice between sweet and savoury, Sunday would almost always choose sweet. She always liked to surprise Jette too, and who wouldn’t be happy with a sweet treat. Entering her apartment, Sunday sighed softly as she looked around, the home in front of her barely looking like a home, it didn’t even looked lived in aside from the two half finished coffee mugs sat by the sink. Placing the baked goods on the counter, Sunday then slung herself onto her couch, reaching for her laptop as she knew she could fit in an hour or so of work before meeting Jette at the beach.
Realising she was due to meet Jette in a short while, Sunday quickly got changed, putting on her swimsuit ready for her dip in the sea. She didn’t care how cold the sea could be, the salty water did wonders for her skin and a swim in the sea just helped clear her mind. Grabbing her jacket, Sunday made sure she had her blanket packed, along with the baked goods and a towel before heading out to the beach. Arriving shortly, Sunday searched for the perfect spot on the sand before placing her blanket down, taking a seat and relaxing back as she waited for Jette to join her.
