I love that psychic powers are still "allowed" in science fiction. They're an acceptable part of the aesthetic. Like you can't have magic, but you can have brain magic, because it's more Science.

au idea: Little Wendy is actually very interested in murder and serial killers. So much so she actually GIVES her father ideas and was even able to keep him from being stupid and getting shot.

I can see it now.

The lightening illuminated the house for a small moment then the crack of the thunder struck, making the floor shake just a little. Chucky reached for the door handle, but the sound of the lamp flicking on and the warm light made him jump back a bit. Turning his head, Wendy sat in his chair in her nightgown that reached past her knees. Her eyes looked black in the light and little face was almost blank, expect for the slight downward tilt of her mouth. Chucky had no idea how long his daughter had been sitting there in the dark, but there was a mutual understanding among them he hadn't know was there before.

The two where silent, thunder roared on outside. Chucky didn't move, he couldn't move. Those eyes where melting his soul, this was the most eye contact Wendy had ever made and it was uncomfortable and intense. It was as though she was reading his mind, seeing all the secrets his dirty soul held.

"Don't go." Wendy said, coldly.

"I'll be alright Winifred, you need to be in bed it's way past your bedtime." Chucky huffed. He tried his best to sound unbothered, but his voice did shake a little.

"If you do this tonight you will die. You've gotten way too cocky, Daddy. You're not thinking. Soon they will find you and we can't have that..can we?"

Chucky eyes widened and he took a small step back. "How did you-"

"I'm not stupid." Wendy folded her hands in her lap. "I've always known. I've been watching you Daddy, that's my job."

You'll never guess what I'm working on babes. I'm calling it Friends Till The End and it's my Carrie White and Chucky crossover! I really need to lock in and update Sins of The Mother, I'll do that this weekend. But yeah I'm really excited about it! I'm really obsessed with writing drafts so the first draft is going on here and the final product is going on my archive. I don't think it's gonna be long but then again it is me, so it probably will be.

Screaming this at the top of my lungs because IT'S GETTING FUCKING BETTER GUYS.

Even though I had a small fight with my perfectionism I managed to pull through and finish two drafts. Not just that, but I actually have things that I LOVE about it. The first draft is 1,384 words long and the second is 1,568 words long. I changed the ending in the second draft and I have favorite lines.

Annie "Sunday's Wife" Wilkes VS Nurse "Sunday Fucking Hates Her" Ratched

Let me start this off by saying I have NOT read One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest yet, I've only seen the movie.

When it comes to Annie Wilkes VS Nurse Ratched I think Nurse Ratched doesn't stand a fucking CHANCE babes. And no, that's not a based thing to say because I have fucking REASONS. Ratched is getting her ass stomped on, she doesn't want the smoke with Annie and that's a fact.

I seriously don't think Nurse Ratched was crazy-crazy. Was she an evil cunt? Absolutely, justice for Billy Bibbit. But CRAZY crazy? No. What I see is a woman obsessed with her job and the power it gives her. I won't lie, there were times I was actually like "she lowkey had a point" like when McMurphy was tweaking about the T.V. Ratched cannot fight. She got into it with McMurphy and had he not been subdued she'd been DEAD. She cannot fight.

Annie is CRAZY crazy. She not only has a rap sheet that'd make Ratched's little stunts look like a kid's game, but she gets her LICKS IN. This woman took a throat full of burnt paper AND STILL KEPT FIGHTING. We call that crazy-crazy here.

So yeah, if Nurse Ratched has a problem with Annie Wilkes she doesn't say a DAMN thing.

My boyfriend: Trick question. Everyone thinks it's Child's Play because you always talk about Chucky but the truth is it's Carrie. You first watched the 2013 version when you where a kid but the book really made you love Stephen King and horror in general.

Me: ...
