i log onto my usually dead marvel blog (because the marvel fandom and ocs dont fucking mix) to 5 notifications

alice wasn’t even playing and she was sweaty from just how loudly and aggressively she was cheering from liam from the sidelines. at this point, his team knew her from the times she surprised him at practice and came to his games whenever she could possibly spare the time. he kissed her forehead as they walked away from the field after his game, alice leaning her head against his shoulder, not caring that he was all sweaty. there was no one she’d rather spend a long weekend with, especially when the full moon was coming. “you played really well out there, i’m the one who should be kissing you!” she rattled off.

“it’s been a while.” she admitted, taking a grateful sip of the water he handed to her. alice couldn’t remember exactly. she was still angry, and she was certain their last text was probably around the time they last spoke if she ever needed receipts. she didn’t know if she was entirely ready to see him again. the lingering feeling of being completely abandoned was still strong. “just so you know, there’s probably gonna be a fight.” it was only fair to warn derek, after all it was his house.
