[The Ssum] Notice on Release of Cheritz’s New Title, ‘The Ssum’

Hello, this is Cheritz.

As spring makes its way with the last day of March, we bring you exciting news!

Four years ago, our experimental game ‘The Ssum’ was soft-launched in selected regions, and it shut down its services after we had collected enough data.

Uncertain of its official release, The Ssum Project was not canceled, but instead was being developed in secret(?).

After four long, long years…

Finally!

At last!

We are getting ready for its ‘official release!’

The game’s official title is “The Ssum: Forbidden Lab.”

(To find out what the game is really about… please look forward to future news!)

All polished-up for the official launch, The Ssum has gone through countless changes in its original settings, designs and features.

Look at all those changes!

The Ssum: Forbidden Lab will be available on 27th of April, 2022!

Why does it have the name ‘Forbidden Lab’ next to the title?

-Luka is very observant and caring, he knows whenever you’re feeling bad without you even having to tell him.

-The first time you ever cried in front of him, he expressed a mix of surprise and worry,

-You tried so hard to hold back your tears, but you started crying as soon as your boyfriend asked if you were okay.

-You felt kind of stupid for crying in front of him.

-”I’m sorry” you stuttered, half-sniffling, half-chuckling, trying not to feel awkward about the whole thing

- “Sorry about what?” he asked, surprised, giving your shoulder a light squeeze

- “For crying, it’s stupid” you replied. His concerned expression softened. He gave you a warm smile.

-”S/o it’s okay to cry, I won’t ever think you’re stupid”, he wiped your tears, cupping your face with his hands

-Since that day, you allowed yourself to be more vulnerable in front of the caring musician

-He’s not invasive, he gives you space when you need it and only reassures you when you’re seeking comfort

-He grew up taking care of Juleka, and would always comfort her whenever she’s feeling down so he’s used to giving advice and words of reassurance

-He’d be super worried every time he sees you crying,

-He would not ask if you’re okay but would rather say, “Do you want to talk about it?” or “Do you want me to hold you?”.

-Luka is definitely the type of person to always make sure that the people around him are comfortable in his presence so he’s careful with words and actions, he asks for consent for anything even the smallest things.

-You could see the worry and sadness in his eyes whenever he saw you crying or feeling bad.

-maybe it was the conflicted artist in him, but he always looks so melancholic and pensive while he watches you struggle to hide your watery and red and puffy eyes.

-If you want him to hold you, he’d wrap arms around you and engulf you in a warm embrace while you cry against his chest. His steady heartbeat eased you.

-A lot of headpats!!

-Luka would play with your hair because he knew it relaxed you, he’d also rub your back softly and whisper affectionate words.

- “You’re gonna be okay, I promise” he’d murmur in your ear while holding you closer, he’d tell you to let it all out and would leave a trail of soft kisses down your shoulders.

-If you tried to explain the situation while sobbing uncontrollably, he’d reassure you and assure you that you can take your time,

-He’s very patient. It didn’t matter how long you cried or wanted to be in his arms, he’d be there for you every step of the way.

-Luka is not the type to feel uncomfortable about you crying in front of him or opening up, he knows what to do in those moments.

-He’d help you calm down by doing breathing exercises with you.

-Once you eventually relax, you’d explain to him whatever’s going on him while he listens attentively.

-Luka is an active and good listener, he makes sure that you know he’s listening by humming in response or mumbling words like “I see” or “I understand”.

-He’s not only good at emotional support but also gives brilliant advice, despite him saying he’s not good with words, he somehow always knows what to say.

-If you don’t want to talk about whatever’s bothering you, he wouldn’t insist. He’d change the subject and try his best to cheer you up.

-You’d ask him if he could play your favorite songs on the guitar, of course, he’d agree and play the guitar for you.

-He’d truly do anything for you. If you ever called him at 3 am crying, he’d face-time you and talk to you until you fall asleep while he watched you fondly as you slowly fell into Morpheus’ arms.

-The bassist would comfort you with cuddles and whisper sweet nothings to you.

-He’d make you a cup of tea or hot chocolate before going to bed.

-”You know that I love you, right?”, he’d say during your comfort cuddle session, his hands reaching to your back to draw circles with his thumbs on your skin.

-”I love you too”, you’d respond, a smile creeping into your lips,

-You felt so lucky to have him by your side.

↬Warnings/TW: None

-I feel like Luka would do pretty cheesy things sometimes although he refuses to acknowledge how much of a romantic he is.

-Would definitely compose songs about you, because he claims to not be that good with words.

-Luka doesn’t get embarrassed or flustered easily despite your desperate attempts to tease or poke fun at him. Usually, you’d be the one ending up blushing. He’s also not afraid to take initiatives in your relationship because of that, but he’d always make sure that you’re comfortable around him.

-He would give you the most random nicknames, some of them would be quite ridiculous but you wouldn’t mind it. His favorite nicknames are “darling” and “love”.

-Expect a lot of random pecks on the lips catching you off guard, and making you flush. He’s also a back-huger so expect a lot of these too; he’d wrap his arms around your waist and nuzzle against your neck and sometimes leave a trail of kisses down your shoulders.

-Paints your nails if you ask him too.

-Loves it when you play with his hair and braid some strands, it soothes him. He’d also braid your hair and maybe dye it for you if you want to.

-Probably gives the warmest, most comforting hugs ever. He’d always give you bear hugs and rest his chin on the top of your head. He’d be very cuddly too and would never refuse a cuddling session in front of a movie.

-Luka appreciates the smallest things, so every moment spent with you would feel special to him and he’d let you know that through actions and words of support and encouragement. The most important thing to him is that you feel loved and appreciated.

-Accepts any gift coming from you, you could literally give him a flower you picked on your way to his place and he’d be thankful and keep it between the pages of a book.

-Speaking of books, he’d shyly ask to read for him before going to sleep because he finds your voice extremely relaxing. That was one of the few things that embarrassed him. Of course, you wouldn't mind doing that because he'd do a lot of things for you as well,

-Like if you're spending the night at his place, he'd cook breakfast for you before you're even awake.

-Luka loves jewelry and would make bead bracelets for you because that’s how much he loves you. He also wouldn’t mind matching with you if it’s small things like a bracelet or a necklace.

-He’s okay with PDA as long as you’re okay with it too. And if you are, he would hold your hand whenever you’re having walks at the park. The boy likes to be near you and show his love through small gestures like caressing your cheeks, putting strands of hair behind your hair or pecks on your cheeks/lips.

-I feel like he’d be the type of person to leave people on read accidentally but since you started dating, he’d try to always answer your texts (he would even send good morning texts sometimes).

-You two would occasionally attend music festivals and small concerts, which resulted in many all-nighters. You’d grab something to eat at 3 am after the concert and decide to stay awake to watch the sunrise together. Summer holidays with Luka would never be boring.

-He can be really clingy sometimes and cuddle with you for hours. Dating him would include a lot of naps on the hammocks on the Liberty’s deck.

-You’ve always thought that living in a boathouse was pretty cool so you’d get excited to spend the nights at Luka’s place and stargaze with him.

-One of my headcanons about Luka is that he loves buying old stuff, whether it’s thrifted clothes or objects from flea markets so you two would have a lot of thrifting dates.

-Mainly likes to do activities indoors, but he’d enjoy your occasional picnic dates when the weather is nice, you’d also grab ice-cream at André’s and walk on the Scene’s bridge while talking about anything.

-That’s another thing with Luka. You’d never run out of subjects for conversations and even if you did, the silence never gets awkward. From time to time, you’d just sit in complete silence, appreciating each other’s presence.

-Luka wouldn’t be the type to be immediately touchy or clingy with you, not until he makes sure that you’re comfortable enough around him.

-But if there’s one thing that Luka loves, it’s your cuddling sessions. When you cuddle, it’s usually before going to sleep or while a movie is playing in the background.

-You also love to nap on the Liberty’s deck taking in Luka’s warmth and the sun’s.

-Luka enjoys being both the big and little spoon so you’d alternate. He loves being the big spoon so he can engulf you in his embrace, nuzzling in your hair and playing with it if you ask him too.

-He’d tuck his arms around your waist and press soft kisses to the nape of your neck, taking in your warmth and comforting scent.

-He’d trace small shapes on your skin, run his fingers up your arms, making his way to your cheek and gently caressing it.

-If he’s the small spoon, he’d snuggle up against your chest to listen to your heartbeat while you play with his blue hair strands, sometimes braiding a few of them when he’d let his hair grow a bit too much.

-He’d ask you to sing for him even if you think you have a bad voice. It didn’t matter; he loved listening to your voice. Anything that came out of your mouth in those moments sounded like music to his ear.

-He’ll usually ask about your day while you’re cuddling after a long day of not seeing each other. Luka is a great listener, so he’d always pay close attention to whatever you’re saying even if it might seem boring to you.

-Insomnia is something Luka struggles with frequently but cuddling with you helps him a lot. Even if he still can’t sleep, he’d just stay awake admiring your sleeping figure, tracing your features with his fingertips, and peppering your face with kisses.

-If he accidentally wakes you up he’d start muttering apologies and rub your back up and down to coax you into sleep again.

-If you can’t sleep he’d tell you a bedtime story but would mix up the tales and both of you end up arguing - “No that’s not how the story ends” you protest, “Well, that’s mom’s version” he replies amused by your annoyance. So he’d stick to reading you a book instead.

-Sometimes you’d stay awake to keep him company, enjoying your late-night talks.

-In the morning, it’s hard for both of you to get out of bed. Your limbs tangled together as well as your hearts, you’d stay in bed for a while, savoring each other’s warmth until Luka gets up to make breakfast.

It relaxes him and it relaxes you. You can feel his warm and steady breathing on top of your head, it's very comforting •If you're shorter than him he loves hugging you and spinning you around, and if you're taller than him he does the same, only different thing is that if you're much bigger than him he'll probably fall lmao and you'll fall w him but hey, it's really cute either way •Definitely the kind of person to send gm/gn texts, and remember if you have any upcoming tests or things like that and ask you how it went •If you ever come to him crying bc you're stressed or something happened he won't tell you to stop crying bc he knows that's counterproductive, he'll hold you (unless you want less intense physical contact, then he'll hold your hands or smth or if you don't want to be touched at all he will look at you sympathetically and listen to you rant or cry or whatever you need), kiss your shoulders and tell you that it's okay to cry, to let it out and would stay like that for as long as you want/need<3 •I personally don't think Luka is jealous, but I think he can be clingy depending on the moment. i don't know how to draw out my writing. most of my writing is only a few hundred words long because i don't know how to make it more detailed and stuff. help?

I use the five senses method.

1. What is visible in the room/space? How does it interact with the character? How does the light or dark look? What colors stand out?

2. What can the character(s) feel? Are they barefoot? Are they holding or touching something? What does the chair feel like beneath them?

3. What smells are there? Is something lingering from baking this morning? Fresh cut grass? Perfume?

4. What sounds are there? Birds and wind? Soft music? How does the voice of a character sound? 

5. Is there a taste that lingers for a character? Chocolate or blood or a kiss?

You don’t have to put ALL of this into every paragraph but it’s a good way to beef up your descriptions and details.
