I’m nocturnal now which has been interesting. I wrote 2 papers last night and I’m close to being done with this quarter! I still have a few assignments + finals but by this time next week I’ll be done until September!

I just wrote a paper and I feel good. This last week has been really stressful and I still have 5 papers to write + finals but getting one done really helped.

This is long but I feel like I need to get this out of my system. I skipped 1st grade and I started college when I was 16. My freshman year of college overlapped with my senior year of high school. My entire life I’ve been rushing through things. I was considering going to law school but that seems like so much so soon. I’m a junior in college now and next year will be my 4th and final year. I’m 19. If I went to law school “on schedule” I’d be 20 years old with absolutely no life experience aside from a retail job and 15 years of school. I’m already getting burnt out and this sucks because I love learning but I feel like everything I’ve done so far has been a race to the finish line. I haven’t been able to live life and enjoy things. Law school is 3 years and I don’t want to be done with the young & fun part of my life so soon. I’m thinking about finishing my BA and then moving across the country to establish residency in another state. Take a year or so off to make some money and live a little. If I still want to go to grad school I can. I’m in Washington and I kinda want to move to New York even though I’ve never been there. Maybe get my drivers license, buy a cheap car, and pack everything up and take a cross-country road trip. Basically I’m not sure what I want to do with my life and that’s scary because I’ll be 20 with a degree and absolutely no idea what I want to do with it. At least I won’t graduate with any debt so financially I’ll be pretty free.

US Supreme Court flash cards. The weather has been so weird lately. Two weeks ago there was 6 in of snow on the ground and it was 16* outside. Now it’s sunny and in the 50s.

yesterday I visited my old high school, which is actually a historic house on a lakeside estate. when I attended, there were rumours of ghosts frequenting the grounds.

The trash overlords, night 2. They decided to split up tonight and target several trash cans across campus.

This is a very low quality photo but a) it’s night and b) I was like 20 ft away when I took this and if I go any closer they stand up and stare at me. I’ve seen them run and they’re fast. I’m not really in the mood for rabies anytime soon.

Winter quarter has started! I’m on my second late night walk and I’m sitting on the giant stair statue on campus watching raccoons eat garbage.

I feel old because I got a crockpot and a soil moisture tester for Christmas and I’m so happy!!! Appliances are fun and now I can make some yummy food and keep my leafy plants alive.
