Information about the ukagaka/ghost
Today I realized that there was an error in Usagi's questions. For those who have already downloaded the Ghost file, all you need to do is download it again and drag it back into the Ukagaka. This way, it will update correctly, without the error. My apologies for the inconvenience and thank you very much for your understanding and attention.

Usagi Yuichi: (Ghost/Ukagaka) ft. Leo Hamato- English/Spanish
Meet Usagi Yuichi, the brave protagonist of Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles (also known as Yuichi Usagi: Ghost/Ukagaka), who is now ready to interact with you directly from your computer. The best of all is that in this experience you can also live with Spot and Leonardo Hamato (ROTTMNT).
Includes history from both series, and one completely original, so Spoiler Warning. There will be no updates

Content (Menu): -Questions about him, friends and clan -Interact with you like watching movies, listening to music or reading -Tells interesting facts about the Yokai -Talk about Miyamoto Usagi -You can meditate -Spend time with Spot
-It is also in Spanish

If you like the character, but not the Leosagi/Leoichi ship, that's fine. You can enjoy Ukagaka without needing to include that feature. Simply DO NOT follow the following steps.
How do I get Leonardo? It's very simple. At first, only Usagi will appear on your computer. You will have to spend enough time with it to unlock some functions, mainly in the menu, where you click on โInteractโ below, the folders dedicated to Leo and Spot will appear. When you click on this folder to join Leo, you will only need to wait a few minutes, and it will appear. With their arrival, some exclusive functions will be added for them. This step can only be done if you wish.

Usagi functions with Leonardo: Functions to interact with the characters. The system includes several functions for you to spend time with Usagi and Leonardo in some activities. In this part, the Ukagaka will be focused on the relationship between both characters, showing you funny anecdotes or cute gestures between them. You will be able to unlock these animations the moment you get the folder, and you will only need to click on the action you want them to perform. Some animations may only be performed once a day. For his part, Leonardo will only be added as part of the Ukagaka, which means that you will not be able to ask him questions or pet him, since these functions are exclusive to Usagi. It is important to highlight that this experience of adding Leo is inspired by the ship between both characters. Therefore, you should not expect any of them to have flirtatious gestures towards you.

Costume change (with Leo): What excites me most about this Ukagaka is that, after spending time and earning points with Usagi and Leonardo, you will unlock a very special feature: Both characters will change costumes and transform into versions inspired by different popular comics about them. It's an exciting surprise that you're sure to love! I want to thank and give credits to the artists who gave me permission to use their designs as part of the Ukagaka. Now, I'm excited to reveal the comics selected for this feature.

-Big Mama's Child AU- @hitokshellart:

-True Colors AU- @v-albion:

-AU (Yo-ho-ho) A Ninjasย Life for me- @triona-tribblescore

-Love Me Dead (Vampire AU)- @x.bluell
I would just like to give a clarification about this, even if they change the costumes, the functions or the questions will not be changed, that will remain the same, because all the stories are concluded for the moment and asking questions or telling something that has not yet been revealed is It makes me wrong for the comic.
To make the ukagaka change costumes you just have to left click and search for โChange Shellโ, the different outfits will appear, and you just have to select the one you want and wait for it to load.
How do I get the ukadaka? For this point I would like to give one more thanks to @venelona-turtle-den (Ukagaka by Leo F!) who was the biggest source of inspiration to create this ukagaka.
There are two options, if you have Leo F!'s ukagaka, the only thing you need to do is enter the drive link that I will leave below and download the first file called โSamuraiRabbitBalloonโ with that file downloaded, you need the second one that would depend on you In what language do you want it, if it is in English, download only the โYuichi UsagiENG.narโ file, and if you want it in Spanish, it would only be the โYuichi Usagi.ESPโ file.
If you don't have Leo F!'s ukagaka, you need to go to this page. Download what this. Then you just need to follow the previous step that I put in when you already have the ukagaka (In this case Emily).

From here you have two options to take out Usagi Yuichi, the first is to left click on the ukagaka you have at that moment, and go to where it says โChange Ghostโ, you only click on the option of the ukadaka you want to take out. If it doesn't appear and you already have the files downloaded, what you can do is grab the file that ends in โ.narโ and drag it to the ukagaka. With this completed you just need to wait for everything to download and update.
Link Drive:
Special thanks: I was not the only one working on this ukagaka, so I thank my great friend @Kyon_uwu, who was the programmer who managed to do all this, so thank you very much for your great work in these weeks <3 He really made a great effort so thank him for everything. If you want to support more for their work, I leave you the link for donations:
Doubts: If you have any questions, send a message to this account, or you can send them to my Twitter, I will be happy to answer them.

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.5
The ideas of making and ending the series through IDW comic would be easy to do
If the series is picked up, the tone of Rise would remain the same
Some chapters discarded were the following, (I took the information from
where it will be more complete, in case you want to read it)
Wedding Smashers: Ghostbear marries his fiancรฉ Ghostpepper, a Chupacabra yokai. Raph and Mikey crash their wedding dressed as their aliases Shadybug and Dr. Rude.
Dog Dale Afternoon: April finds out that Baba Yaga cursed Dale to be a werewolf, but he doesn't know what's happening to him, Donnie shows up to โhelp him,โ and be his doctor.
Shred Dead Redemption: Screenwriter Sheldon Vella shared the first board of his showing the brothers chasing the cupcake van called Fire and Icing in Turtle Tank. Unfortunately, a piece of cardboard (Donnie's cloaking device) blocking the front windshield causes the Tank to crash gracelessly into a Lou Jitsu poster.
Warren Stone 2: Warren Stone is cut in half again, but this time the lower half of him becomes a different Warren sporting a beard and shaved head. Warren Stone II ends up becoming a competent and dangerous enemy for the turtles. Realizing that Warren is upset, Warren II has taken his title of "The Turtles' Greatest Enemy", April helps Warren regain his charm.
Gourd Almighty: A comedic episode about Donnie trying to grow the world's largest pumpkin for a contest.
T-Hex: It was going to be about Mikey wanting a robotic toy with a "boopable snoot." After getting the toy he turns out to be not as innocent as he seems.
Lost Goat: Draxum leaves after having a fight with the family (Turtles and Splinter). As he does so, he is abducted by the foot. While trying to rescue Draxum, the family has no choice but to resolve their issues regarding him.
Goyles just wants to have fun: Huggin and Muggin are confused when they find Draxum working in a school cafeteria. Draxum asks Leo and Donnie to help improve his image so as not to lose the respect he once had for the Goyles.
Rampaging Raph: Raph comes to Draxum for help after getting trapped in his enormous mystical form. He is ashamed of not having mastered his mystical powers like his brothers. Draxum ends up splitting Raph and his mystical power, which then becomes a problem when the Red Hulk turns red and begins crushing the city, getting stronger with each hit. To save the city, Raph has to confess and ask his brothers for help.
The Island of Dr. Noe: Hunter/dentist Dr. Noe kidnaps Raph and Leo and takes them to his home island. The doctor wants Raph's tooth in his tooth collection.
Toddler Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mikey becomes the oldest when his siblings turn into little turtles after being attacked by an immortal mutant jellyfish bank robber. 163.There is a small chance that Such TMNT and Rise exist at the same time. 164.Production ties were a little over a year from premise. About 8 weeks from premise to draft record, about 12 for a storyboard, 8 for final animation, with design happening all the time. 6 months for full animation, music, etc. 165. You always interacted a lot with the design team when writing 166.Here is the board with the episodes of the series (in season 2), although some are jokes 167.Although Netflix supported Rise for the movie, it is not Ron or Russ's decision whether the series will continue or not, but they want it to continue supporting 168. The best way to support Rise is to keep watching, posting and spreading the word for the show

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.4
The difficult part of the series was fitting the entire plot into 11 minutes for one episode, there were great things that were eliminated for this reason, the general opinion (from high ranks) was that action shows lasted 22 minutes to sell toys, while comedies got ratings
The soundtrack of the series is not much, so it is likely that an official soundtrack will not come out Some episodes were broadcast out of order
Even if you don't have a conceptual art book,
If they were Animal Crossing villagers. Leo would be a cheetah, Raph something cute and furry, Mikey something fierce like a badger, Donnie an immortal jellyfish
Big Mama is a mix of Headey's role as Ma-Ma in the movie Dredd and Mary Poppins
Russ imagines that Splinter had some kind of naming ceremony for them and made their own birth certificates, or some kind of formal Hamato Clan indoctrination scroll.
Stockboy's design was based on Egghead Jr
Splinter's mother's Guardian's job was probably to make sure the Foot Clan didn't get the Dark Armor teapot.
The words Hypno says in The Clothes Don't Make the Turtle are the surnames of those who worked on the series
Russ intended Don Suave to look like a young Ricardo Montalbรกn
In the chapter of The Hidden City Job, Don Suave says โMachismoโ, however the writers were looking for a word of โexaggerated masculinityโ, but that was interpreted in other ways, that is why it was changed in Spanish (Russ apologized for the confusion)
Russ appears in two episodes in Mascot Melee and Breaking Purple
In Pizza Puffs when Leo comes in sick with the baker, Ben (Leo) was asked to do 2 takes with what he would say, then he was asked not to read the script and say what he remembered. The result was sicker and stranger
If you have Google Home you can set Rise alarms (All written by Josh Riley Brown) Say โHey Google, set a Donatello alarm for a minuteโ to try (This is years old, so I don't know if it works yet)
Carol is April's neighbor (she is not her mother)
Originally in "Shadow of Evil", Draxum was about to execute April and Splinter, and also Donnie and Mikey had a rock-paper-scissors fight to see who would be next to fight Splinter (This in homage to TMNT movie 1990)
The boys appeared in โAlways Be Browniesโ, this was discarded to give April the lead role.
It is up to each Hamato member to look after Shredder's return. It was Grandpa Sho's turn when he was young, but unfortunately Splinter's mother died under his watch.
None of the Foot recruits have a name.
A chapter had been thought of where it was told how Mikey and Raph were close as children
Cassandra was not planned to be Casey, that came up throughout the series
As for the boys' design, it is shadows that are seen, not black pants
There were no plans to do a crossover with Usagi, but the idea of one in the future has not been ruled out
The ideas of making and ending the series through IDW comic would be easy to do

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.3
The turtles honored Karai, and would talk to her whenever they needed guidance
Originally Karai would have been in 8 episodes (11 minutes) or 4 (22 minutes), she would help Donnie with his desire for recognition, Raph's anxiety, Mikey's aversion to family conflict, and Leo in his potential as a leader, as well as April letting him know that she is also a Hamato
The Rise movie takes place months after the end of the second season
The photo at the beginning of the movie was taken just before the Krang arrived.
If the series were renewed, they would touch on the theme that humans already know about them, addressing issues of misunderstood heroism to maintain their reputation as full-time heroes, and that some people hate them, as well as how they adapt to this new change
The crossover between the different versions of TMNT was never discussed, but it can happen (Although it is complicated to use two types of animation in the case of 2012)
2012 Leo and Rise Leo would get along badly at first, but would end up being great friends. The Mikeys would get along well from the beginning
There was a story to tell about Big Mom and Stinkbomb
The team never realized that there was no episode with the duo of Raph and Donnie (but they would if the series is renewed)
In the apocalyptic future it may be that Donnie is taller than Leo, and Raph is at least 6 feet, Mikey would have grown, but due to the use of the Ninpo on him he would become smaller
Mikey could be enough for multiverse episodes
In the series the invasion would not have happened like in the movie
Ron would like to see a Spin-off of CJ and Cassandra wandering the world and fighting the remains of Krang (Where Draxum could join)
There are Krang everywhere, there may be some good Krang
The Rat King could be the next villain, Shredder could return, Bishop could be a thorn like J. Jonah Jameson for the turtles, he would be like an ally, but don't trust the turtles (a few ideas if the series is renewed)
Baxter Stockboy would mutate, and become a man, but his voice and mentality would be that of a child
There were no plans for Beebop and Rocksteady
It could be that Mikey from the future communicated with his dead brothers
There are other hidden cities such as Tokyo, where it was thought that they would be
The prison dimension is to get rid of the villains
In terms of power with the Ninpo, Mikey is the strongest, followed by Donnie, Raph the next, and Leo is the one who depends the least on the Ninpo, he uses physical and mental abilities
CJ is around 20 years old or a teenager. Leo from the future would be in his early 40s. Young April is 18 just like Raph
The movie was already planned before they found out about the hiatus, it didn't change much since it was set a little far from the series, so it didn't receive many changes
Don Suave is attractive to any gender or orientation Leo has a little insomnia
Donnie's fear of beach balls started at a young age as seen in โLair Gamesโ
His favorite video game is โCrazy Copterโ
The bounty hunters in the first episode are called โGarm and Frekiโ
Baba Yaga was planned to be introduced
Donnie is the team doctor
Ant and Andy had the idea that the turtles were of different species
Kids would put cereal before milk (haha, good tip)
In Origami Tsunami the test audience thought Leo was the leader
Kendra is Indonesian
Raph feels bad when he is alone, because his brothers are the strength he needs to survive.
Leo's hair reference in Bad Hair Day is because of the guy in the middle
A rivalry between Baxter and The Purple Dragons was thought of
A little HeadCanon that Donnie has a pumpkin-growing rivalry with a woman named Ethel Crabtree
Hypno is New Zealander
In Al Be Back, Raph was Raphy White in โBarry Whiteโ, his hair is similar to James Brown, Leo is a glam rocker in the vein of David Bowie, the New York Dolls or Sweet
โOthello Von Ryanโ, is a reference to the strange Liz Taylor commercial in the 80s
Dale is based on Dale Malinowski
The boys' nickname is: Othello Von Ryan, Dr. Delicate Touch, Cool Teen Randall, Neon Leon and the Red Angel of Preventing Harm
Mikey knew that April's apartment upstairs was unoccupied, where he sent Draxum
Raph's hero names, he doesn't realize they spell his name R.A.P.H until later
If the series is renewed, several discarded episodes could return without a problem, and everything would resume from the end of the movie
There is a completely complete episode that Nick never released
If the series were renewed it would be at least another 3 seasons
The pitch process for an episode is organic, a writer has a pretty solid idea, people propose ideas, the key piece is finding the growth story not only of the story, but also of the character
The difficult part of the series was fitting the entire plot into 11 minutes for one episode, there were great things that were eliminated for this reason, the general opinion (from high ranks) was that action shows lasted 22 minutes to sell toys, while comedies got ratings

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.2
The turtles would take a while, but they would have ended up accepting Draxum into the family (Although Ron doesn't love the idea of thinking of him as a second father)
There are two lost sisters of the turtles, one of them is Gran Mama's assistant (Frida), and another (Camelle) is trapped in a different dimension. It was planned that the turtles would separate to rescue their sisters. Frida would have been manipulated by Big Mama since she was little. 6 turtles can be briefly seen in the episode โGoyles, goyles, goylesโ
The sisters would be similar ages to the boys
Frida would have been a super serious and disciplined ninja (which would lead to funny moments), while Camelle could be a little eccentric
Frida likely joined the Resistance in the future
Pieblald would be like a sister and you would be able to interact with her more
The artists put cats in various places in different chapters (as a joke)
Those of the Council of Chiefs of the Hidden City are the leaders, although they do not have control over everything (Like with Big Mom)
The Weeping Titan may have been built by another race ancient to the Yokai A Krang spaceship crashed into the back of the Weeping Titan, and that was the source of the sludge (which was the ship's fuel). The Weeping Titan is the source of Empyrean, the nectar that gives Yokai their mystical energy.
The ship caused the other Krang to come to invade the earth
Yokai society roamed freely, happier, and more numerous, until humans arrived
The story of the Yokai driven underground arose centuries ago, Draxum witnessed it (It is something that would be told if the series returned)
After losing Shredder, Foot Shack closed and started selling cupcakes.
The original ending (when there was no cutback), in the Battle Nexus: New York chapter, the hotel was going to end up being absorbed back to the Hidden City, taking Big Mom and Shredder with it. The problem was that they were now trapped in the Hidden City. The Foot Clan would have fought to free Shredder
Cassandra's original arc was longer, her Splinter bond would have been key, although the reveal that she was Casey was just as important. She would have disappeared and appeared at the time they needed her most, it is possible that she would relapse into bad things (she is in constant conflict)
Cassandra chose the Foot Clan since she was little because she wanted to belong to something (The writers also made assumptions about her being an orphan)
CJ would be happy to see Cassandra young, surely finding her would be touching
CJ vaguely remembers Cassandra. Leo was the one who mainly raised him
The dynamic between Casey and Raph that has been seen in other series would have happened in Rise with Cassandra and Raph
Despite having information about the future, CJ would not be someone valuable to have information about, because many things have changed
The herbicide to harm the Krang works like it does on plants.
It was planned that they would travel to the Krang dimension, and to the prison dimension to free Karai
It was never discussed beyond the apocalyptic future (only what we saw in the movie), so it is not known what happened to Cassandra, Donnie, Raph, Splinter, Leo's arm, etc. The only thing we need to know is that everything was because of the Krang. How? We don't know. (The animators probably know more about this, although I'm not sure)
The wound on Leo's side from the future was the reason she didn't accompany Casey to the past (because she knew she would die)
Casey couldn't help but think of young Leo as a father figure, although it would be too weird for him since they are the same age
Mikey can open portals through space and time, while Leo's portals are over short distances.
In one of the first episodes of season 3, they would talk about how they obtained the other lair.
There could have been more episodes of Bone and Leo, these two are great friends (Although Bone does not admit it)
The names of the Purple Dragons were inspired by writers from the first season of the 2012 series. Their names would be Jeremy Schipp, Jase Ricci and Kendra Byerly
Karai would have had a longbow, but she can come back
The turtles honored Karai, and would talk to her whenever they needed guidance

ROTTMNT Curiosities Part.1
Since I don't have a social life, in this case I bring you my compilation that I made in these weeks stalking two writers of the series where they reveal various curiosities about the episodes, deleted scenes, inspirations, etc. I leave their profiles for you to follow, and let's continue supporting Rottmnt
The data in Spanish will be on my Twitter, if I'm missing one, tell me and I can add it to the list.
Bishop, Mona Lisa, Triceratons, Renet, yes, any character would enter Rise, only in the unique way that Rise knows how to do
There was a failed attempt to add Monty Moose
From the beginning it was planned that Leo would gradually become the leader, only in a more organic way (something like what was seen in the movie), this could happen over the course of the third season. It was not planned to explicitly say that he was the leader, the end of Season 2 was a kind of joke to highlight that there was no opportunity to tell the story that was wanted.
Raph didn't love being the leader, since he was little he loves doing crazy things like his brothers, but his big brother instinct makes him take responsibility for taking care of others, so he doesn't mind Leo being considered the leader now, on the contrary, they both share some leadership, and he feels happy not to be the only one carrying the load
Leo is a little older than Donnie
Leo keeps snacks, candy, toys, spray, etc. on his belt.
Donnie hates fruits with seeds
It is possible that Donnie would test Leo as a leader only to prove in the end that he always trusted him, and it only made him stronger.
Mikey knows ballet, Raph can do Slow Pace, Leo is good at everything, and all four of them are generally good at group dances.
Donnie's guilty taste is Jojos
Raph doesn't mind bad words, as long as they don't offend anyone.
Everyone sings and plays different instruments. They are very good at video games. They are excellent skaters and also good at various sports. Splinter is a good cook like Mikey
Leo and Donnie get the arrogance of Splinter (When he was Lou-Jitsu), Raph inherited the courage and sense of duty from him, and Mikey knew how bad his father was, that's why he always tries to unite the family. family
Reference was made to different film characters to create the turtles. Donnie is like Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory) or Anbed (Community). Mikey is like Troy (Community). Leo is like Star Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy) or Han Solo, Raph is like Brand (older brother of the Gonnies). Although much of the inspiration for the boys' personalities came from their voice actors, for example Brandon (Mikey) is a great hugger while Josh (Donnie) does not like to hug and the relationship between Brandon and Omar is similar. like Mikey and Raph
The turtles as humans could be like their voice actors, although they would look like Lou Jitsu, and this would happen with some type of mystical spell
Donnie considers himself smarter than Raph, but Raph surpasses him in common sense and emotional intelligence. On Halloween, Raph would dress up as a cat, Mikey as a lion, Leo as a rock star, and Donnie as J. Robert Oppenheimer.
His musical tastes are Raph (r&b), Leo (Glam Rock), Donnie (Techno, although he also likes to make his own music), Mikey (boy band). His choice of clothing is similar to what was shown in The Clothes Don't Make the Turtle.
His fears are Donnie (Beach Balls), Mikey (Ghosts), Leo (Being bad at anything, especially mystics), Raph (Failing to protect his brothers)
In a coffee shop AU, Mikey would be a baker, Donnie would create the most efficient coffee brewing system, Raph and April would be in charge of the business, and Leo would be a demanding customer.
Splinter never celebrated the boys' birthday, due to his mutation, although he already started doing it.
Mikey is Raph's favorite, Leo annoys Donnie a lot, but he really loves him, all three admire Raph
Raph would have some Krang mentality like PTSD
Raph likely hurt Donnie which led to him covering his white shell.
Lou Jitsu lived in New York (He never lived with Gran Mama)
The voice difference between Lou-Jitsu and Splinter is due to their age and mutation
Lou-Jitsu was an action star in the '90s, then spent a decade in Battle Nexus before escaping with the Turtles (around 2005). If he was in his early 30s as an action star, then he was in his early 40s when he got the Turtles
Lou Jitsu traveled the world, and developed his love for Renaissance art
Splinter has a lot of unrevealed power
Splinter would be the main villain of the first part of the third season. Originally, in the finale, Splinter sacrificed himself by putting on the Dark Armor, and throughout that first part the boys would try to get him out of the armor, before he became corrupted.
The dynamic between Splinter and the Dark Armor would be funny
If Splinter had never taken the turtles, they would have been soldiers, and Draxum would totally think he was doing the right thing.
Splinter would have understood what CJ went through, and he would see him as a grandson or nephew
Suggests that Gran Mama could be Karai's mother from the past (although this is not a joke, probably haha) she says that anything is possible
It may happen that Gran Mama tries to kidnap Leo
Big Mom could have redemption, but she would fall back into her bad habits again
Donnie made the phones, it is not known where he gets the material or the money he gets from
Donnie loves botany
Donnie has normal eyesight, he uses glasses to improve his eyesight and see mystical things
Donnie raps the rap melody from the TMNT 2012 theme song in Mystic LibraryIt's not completely confirmation, but Donnie may have Autism, Mikey may have ADHD (Ron said it's all up to each person's interpretation, so it's fine with him)
Boys drink hot chocolate, not coffee.
Because the series was aimed at children, the love theme was never introduced in the series (Not even with April and Cass), but if it were to happen it would be with characters of the same species (Although we are free to interpret what we it looks)
Mystical powers grow and new ones develop
The turtles learned all their languages thanks to television and movies (Leo surely liked Universal and Telemundo a lot)
April is 16 at the beginning. In the movie she is 18, Raph is a year younger than her
April lives with both parents, a story for them was never thought of
There were no plans, but without a doubt they would have made an episode about how April met the turtles
If you had thought about how April and Sunita related to Cassandra
Mayhem is really powerful, and it would have been fun to do stories about him as a secret agent (something like Perry from Phineas and Ferb)
Sunita is probably hundreds of years old (Like all Yokai)
The last piece of Dark Armor that was left on the foot of one of the turtles in the End Game chapter, must be somewhere in the lair
Draxum had the mystical weapons because he was from the Hidden City Security and a prominent scientist, these helped boost the activation of the Ninpo of the turtles, the larger the Ninpo, the more potential it will have to sap your energy, for example That took a toll on Mikey.
All Hamatos could have different powers
Draxum's redemption arc was always planned
The turtles would take a while, but they would have ended up accepting Draxum into the family (Although Ron doesn't love the idea of thinking of him as a second father)
There are two lost sisters of the turtles, one of them is Gran Mama's assistant (Frida), and another (Camelle) is trapped in a different dimension. It was planned that the turtles would separate to rescue their sisters. Frida would have been manipulated by Big Mama since she was little. 6 turtles can be briefly seen in the episode โGoyles, goyles, goylesโ

It's Valentine's Day, what better way to celebrate than with an analysis of one of the best fanfics out there?
As for When Worlds Collide, it's one of those must-read fanfics because of the deep background it presents, addressing themes of forgiveness and self-esteem. In this thread I won't focus on evaluating the narrative structure or the quality of the dialogue, but on the plot around the story and why it is so popular.
This story, offers valuable advice and messages from the reader from the beginning to the end. It is considered one of the most important and best fanfics that exist, since it touches common situations such as the pain caused by close people leaving the message it conveys is one of the healthiest to deal with these experiences.
Now then, I would prefer starting to discuss about the characters, from those with secondary roles to the protagonists with more developed and relevant arcs in the plot, until the end to give my final opinion.
"It doesn't take a sword to break us. Sometimes it's just a person." Forgiving does not necessarily mean forgetting what happened or justifying the actions that caused pain, but rather freeing oneself from the resentment and bitterness that can consume us. Forgiveness requires courage and understanding, and can be a long and difficult process. However, it can lead to emotional healing and the restoration of broken relationships. Showing ourselves as we are, without masks or pretense, allows us to build more genuine and meaningful relationships with others. While it can be challenging to stop hiding our true selves, the process of doing so allows us to grow and develop as individuals, strengthening our self-esteem and self-confidence.
-The role of the big sister in giving advice.
Let's start with April. Although her participation is limited, her role as older sister is fundamental in the plot. April is dedicated to take care and give advice especially to Leo. The mutual trust and affection between them is noticeable. However, she also warns Leo about the need to protect himself, saying that sometimes it is inevitable to get hurt (especially when it comes to feelings). This lesson is crucial in the future for Leo to understand that you can't always blindly trust those you love. Also as the story progresses, April interacts more with Yuichi and accepts his role in the family. When the truth is revealed, April apologizes to Leo (as she feels it is her fault, and the omen she said turned out to be true), though he understands that it is not his fault. Leo seeks April's advice about forgiving Usagi, and she encourages him to decide for himself, emphasizing that he has control over his life. This dynamic demonstrates the love and support between siblings. April is always willing to give advice that is not only right, but also seeks Leo's happiness.
-The role of learning to protect physically and emotionally.
Raph and Mikey also play important roles, with Raph taking on the role of the protective and self-sacrificing older brother, while Mikey represents innocence and emotional generosity. In the story's denouement, the two develop a bond with Yuichi, coming to protect each other and consider him a valuable friend to both Leo and themselves. When the truth is revealed, both Raph and Mikey are hurt. Raph blames himself for not protecting Leo from emotional deception, though Leo comforts him, knowing it is not his fault. Yuichi, aware of the connection between Raph and Leo, asks him to protect his brother, a request Raph readily accepts, prioritizing Leo's safety over his friendship with Yuichi. On the other hand, Mikey stresses the importance of communication by proposing to talk to Yuichi. He is the only one who senses Leo's true feelings and wants to prevent him from repressing them. Although he feels hurt, Mikey recognizes Yuichi's need to express himself and encourages Leo to talk to him sincerely. He thanks Yuichi for standing by Leo during difficult times. Despite feeling betrayed, both Raph and Mikey direct their anger at themselves for allowing their brother to suffer. However, they are determined to protect Leo and support him in whatever decision he makes regarding Yuichi.
-The role of being selfish with no thought for the suffering of others.
Big Mom is presented as an antagonist who exerts control over Yuichi's life. Although she was not a good role model for him, she shares a strong parallel with Yuichi in betraying the most important person in his life, although unlike Yuichi, Big Mom acts in her own self-interest, with no regrets for her actions, leading her into a cycle of continuous betrayals. Only at the end, upon seeing Yuichi with Leo, does she feel compassion as she remembers her own relationship with Splinter. Although she is not the main villain, she is an example of someone who neither changes nor regrets her mistakes, ignoring the damage caused. Big Mom is a dangerous character due to her lack of empathy about the suffering she causes.
-The role of justifying your actions by believing you are a hero.
The Draxum of this story is a ruthless and manipulative antagonist who seeks power and personal gain without caring about playing with the feelings of others. He uses both physical strength and emotions to hurt others in order to achieve his goals, even threatening Yuichi's life on several occasions and enjoying Leo's suffering. Although a different version of the original, his role as a feared villain is successful in advancing the plot and forcing Yuichi to fulfill his mission. Draxum's denouement with Yuichi is important to the outcome of both characters, as he loses everything he had and is left feeling neither remorseful nor proud of his actions. Throughout the story, parallels are drawn with Big Mom, both of them regardless of the fact that they hurt teenagers in different ways. However, while Draxum admits to being the villain and believes he is doing the right thing according to the prophecy, Big Mom acts for her own benefit without remorse, disguising her true intentions.
-The role of parallels in the face of the same story with a different ending.
Leo and Splinter share similar stories of blindly trusting those they love, despite the warning signs that may be visualized along the way. Although Splinter at first seems disinterested in his children's lives, he eventually reveals himself to be a father who has made many mistakes but tries to support his children. When Leo feels displaced, Splinter decides to support his goals, which shows a significant gesture of support by gifting him the medical kit he has for practice, demonstrating that he listens to his children. The relationship between Leo and Splinter is exemplary, showing that despite being a parent with a difficult past he can still support his children, Splinter also shares his past with Big Mom, showing his concern for protecting his children from the influence a person can have coming into their lives. When the truth is discovered, Splinter is upset with Yuichi but decides not to judge him, acknowledging his own mistake-filled youth. He advises Leo on the difficulty of forgetting someone, showing empathy for both his son and Yuichi. The encounter between Splinter and Big Mom reflects a deep shared pain, where neither speaks but both feel the burden of what they have experienced. This reflection leads Leo to question which is worse: being betrayed by the one you love and choosing his own path, or seeking to redeem himself. The story suggests that redemption is possible, offering hope for a different future for both Leo and Yuichi.
-The role of understanding the suffering of others.
If I had to talk about a character that had an incredible evolution, it would undoubtedly be Donnie. I'll be honest, when I first read WWC, Donnie was a character I couldn't stand, but then I realized that the character was not to blame and on the contrary he was the one who was right (at least in the end). Donnie's evolution throughout the story is remarkable and significant. At the beginning, he feels jealous towards Yuichi due to the attention Leo gives him, leading to arguments and mistreatment, which makes Leo confront him, and both of them can look for a solution causing him to understand the importance of tolerating him for his brother's sake. Although Donnie has difficulty expressing his feelings, he shows a positive change as he tries to understand Yuichi and support him when necessary. His doubts about Yuichi arise when he witnesses his delivery of the glasses and armor to Draxum, leading him to investigate and confront Yuichi. However, he becomes frustrated when he finds no hard evidence and his anger transforms into a desire to protect Leo, becoming more cautious with what he does, and generating tension between the brothers. When the truth is revealed, Donnie experiences a moment of anger and regret for not having protected his brother, this is reflected much better in the fight he has with Yuichi, where he basically ends up hitting him hard believing that this might help Leo feel better, but then he realizes that it didn't really help at all. He begins to highlight how he was always right, but realizing Leo's suffering and the mistake he has made in seeing his brother being considered an idiot for having feelings, he makes Donnie apologize for not protecting him, both brothers apologize to each other and agree to support the other, this time starting without remorse, showing their emotional growth and willingness to support their family. The relationship between Donnie and Yuichi shows that it is not always necessary to like someone to tolerate them (not everyone is going to like you and not everyone will like you, that is a law of life), that does not prevent you from learning to be empathetic with others. The way Donnie is portrayed in the story brilliantly reflects his evolution and the importance of empathy in interpersonal relationships, from being a character who does not know how to express what he feels very well due to lacking in some occasions of these, that does not prevent him from caring or wanting to protect his brothers, learning to change and evolve into a character who feels empathy for the pain of others and decides to support Leo in his final decision without judging him.
-The role of finding your place in the world and knowing how to forgive.
Leo's story is one of self-discovery and emotional growth, but above all he is the character who will give us the best (in my opinion), most important advice in the whole story. From the first meeting with Yuichi, Leo feels a special connection and is intrigued by him, we are also told that he has no interactions with other yokais, so he quickly connects with him, and decides to support him at the moment of their meeting. As they spend more time together, due to Yuichi ending up saving him from Draxum and taking him to the sewer to cure him, Leo begins to question his feelings and realizes that he enjoys being with Yuichi without having to go out of his way to impress him. Through his relationship with Yuichi, Leo also reflects on his past and his sense of belonging within his family. He begins to remember how he felt displaced by his siblings, seeing that each of them had qualities that managed to stand out, made Leo feel the need to know exactly who he was and show what he was capable of so he decides to be the doctor to make it his way to contribute to the team and find his place. This is reinforced by the fact that his interest in Yuichi was sparked not only by his physical appearance, but also by the fact that Yuichi chose him out of all the yokais in the place, to ask him for advice, without needing to demonstrate any skill, something that made him feel special and capable. As the relationship progresses, Leo strives to make Yuichi happy and protect him at all times, he doesn't mind showing his affection, and it's something he explains to Donnie, Yuichi doesn't need anything to love Leo with him, and that feeling makes Leo feel more special than when he strives to do something, that's why he always decides to protect everyone's (even his siblings). However, when he discovers the truth about Yuichi, he experiences a deep pain and confusion after a desperation to try to believe that it was a joke, it is difficult for him to forgive Yuichi, even Leo feels angry, but that anger is for him, because he knows that something was wrong from the beginning, only it was something he did not want to see, although he tries to apologize, Leo does not accept his apology, and decides to create a barrier, this would be a small part of his personality, totally serious and full of resentment that he would develop to protect himself from the pain, although in several occasions he seems to fall under Yuichi's apologies, he always forms this barrier, although he knows that he is only fooling himself, and that in reality if he wants to forgive Yuichi, it is demonstrated at the moment that this heals him, he drops some jokes and is empathetic, demonstrating once again that with Yuichi he feels free and natural without showing what he is capable of just being himself, but again he returns to hide his feelings. It is when he decides to ask his whole family for advice, it all comes down to the same thing, they will know that no matter what Leo's decision is, it will be the right thing to do and they trust him. When Yuichi finally decides to sacrifice himself, Leo realizes that he wants Yuichi to live, and he knows that making him suffer is not something that would make him feel good at all. At the end of the story with his mixed feelings, Leo decides to put himself first and take his time to heal, showing great emotional maturity. In the end, Leo will eventually learn that it is possible to forgive but most importantly love himself, which allows him to accept his place in the story and demonstrate his love for Yuichi. Just because you love a person doesn't mean you're going to forgive them easily, and it's something that is a big mistake in this type of story. Leo and his emotional journey is complex and realistic, showing the healing process after a betrayal and the importance of learning to forgive, both others and yourself.
-The role of accepting yourself as you are and being able to redeem yourself.
Although the story has Yuichi and Leo as the main characters, I feel that Yuichi is the one the story revolves around, and the protagonist of the story. We meet Yuichi, and although his story is different from Samurai Rabbit, the character has the same essence, only some things change due to the story (something that fails in some stories that try to do the same thing), his evolution is a journey of self-discovery and redemption. From the beginning, we see that Yuichi is a complex character with many layers, and as the story progresses, it is clear that he is struggling with his own inner demons. Yuichi's story is painful, but they let you see that Yuichi was always impulsive and arrogant, the only home was with his aunt, so when she passed away, it was evident that he had nowhere else to go, that's when he decided to run, and although he had some places where they could train him and treated him well, Yuichi's attitude was something that didn't fit, this made him run into Big Mom and she took advantage of the attitudes he had for her own benefit, increasing his ego the moment he started fighting in the Nexus. When he met Leo, Yuichi quickly portrays everything he dislikes about him, though this is because he sees himself reflected in Leo. However, as he spends time with Leo and the Hamato's, he begins to show his true personality: playful, teasing, and vulnerable. He is drawn to Leo because it gives him a sense of home and belonging that he has never experienced before. Throughout the story, Yuichi struggles with his feelings and his role in the mission with Draxum. Although he initially tries to prioritize the mission, his feelings for Leo lead him to question his own motivations, these are small moments at first, which may go unnoticed everything comes to a different point when the day of their rooftop date arrives and Leo gives him the necklace in the shape of swords, realizing that true love is one that will ask for nothing in the face of affection received, Yuichi accepts his feelings at this point, although he does not say it openly, it is clear that from this event Yuichi loves Leo in a genuine way, this is demonstrated when Leo is injured and Yuichi does not hesitate to protect him and heal his wounds, forgetting the armor, and showing Leo that he is more important than the armor. Things finally become clear to Yuichi when they go on their last date at the skating rink, where he finally admits that he loves Leo, although it is too late. Although he knows he has made mistakes in the past and feels guilty about them, he is willing to do anything to protect Leo and his family, even if it means sacrificing his own life. Revealing the truth when Leo asks him to, this time if he wanted to redeem himself he would tell absolutely the whole truth, so he doesn't hesitate to do it, this time he is not going to run as he did years ago, this time he is going to face the problem for the person he loves the most, without looking for anything in return. After the sacrifice and Yuichi's decision to return to life after remembering his aunt, realizing that the part that had hidden his true self, will be the one that will help him to correct his mistakes, demonstrating his growth as a character and his commitment to do the right thing. Although he knows that the road to redemption will be difficult, he is determined to strive to be a better person, both for himself and for those he loves (As I said, Yuichi is no longer going to run, and the fact that he has decided to live, strongly symbolizes this fact, as he will not run towards the easy path of death, this time he will take the short path, which will make him grow). Ultimately, Yuichi's story is one of love, forgiveness and redemption. Through his relationship with Leo, he learns to accept himself and to find true happiness and a sense of belonging in love and connection with others.
-Final Opinion
It is clear that "WWC" is an incredible story in depth and character development, dealing with complex themes such as betrayal, forgiveness and personal growth. The unique perspective of telling the story from the point of view of the betrayer, Yuichi, adds an additional layer of complexity and emotion to the plot. The handling of the relationships between the characters is another highlight of the story. The way the connection between Yuichi and Leo develops, as well as the interactions between the Hamato brothers, authentically reflects the complexities of human relationships. In addition, the exploration of themes such as self-love and redemption adds additional emotional depth to the story. The narrative's brisk and involving pace, along with the carefully crafted details and emotional moments, make it difficult to put "WWC" down. In addition, the way the story addresses the consequences of betrayal and the importance of forgiveness provides valuable lessons about the power of love and understanding. In short, "WWC" is a story that not only entertains, but also invites reflection on universal and deeply human themes. Its innovative approach and masterful execution make it a truly memorable and meaningful read.
When Worlds Collide, the title is also essential, both Leo and Yuichi live in different worlds, when it seems they can finally fit together, is when at the least unexpected moment, those worlds collide due to the circumstances and reasons why they met in the first place, that's why they end up colliding with each other, but that must be something that will have to be repaired in due time. Because everyone around us has their own story to tell, a different world in our own mind, and you have no idea how much I identified with this fanfic, because I have been through that situation and it is very difficult to overcome it (You never do it 100%), but that doesn't mean we can't improve and grow, being experiences make us improve and understand more how life is or how our people around us are, so even though it is painful, this fanfic is so realistic that makes you identify with some of the people in one way or another.ย That's why I started this analysis telling the role of each character, until I got to the main characters, because I felt it was more appropriate, besides I had a lot to say about Leo and Yuichi. And believe me, there are more things I would like to say, like the importance of the necklace Leo gives Yuichi, or the fact that Yuichi is bloodthirsty and always looking to fight, but I feel that many of these things are better detailed in the story, so I felt that telling something that makes the fanfic clear was a little unnecessary, and I wanted to focus more on other things that I noticed throughout the story.
If you just read the fanfic once, I recommend you to do it again, since you will notice many things that maybe you didn't notice before, and it really makes you spend a nice time besides it is a deep story and it deserves you to read it again many times. I don't know if there will be a second part or not (Since this story revolves around the first season), and I would love to see a second part with the second season, taking several points, for example how is Yuichi and Leo's relationship, or how is Yuichi's coexistence with the other brothers, if the theme of Draxum's redemption will be treated, the plot of Big Mom with Shredder, and how the theme of Ninpo and the Hamato story will be taken, etc. I'm really looking forward to being able to read a continuation, but that's something to be decided by the creator herself, so all I can say is that this story is a spectacular and one of the best fanfics there can be, whether you like shipp or not, it's a story that deserves to be read by everyone, even those who don't know about the Ninja Turtles, since as I said, the themes it deals with are very realistic and deserve to be discovered, without a doubt this kind of stories show that fanfics are not only fangirl stuff, it also tells history and is an art that is underestimated, but without a doubt when you discover it, it can be one of the best things you read, what are you waiting for to suffer again reading When Worlds Collide?
