Why Vishal Groups' Name Highlighted In The News
It is known to everyone that expired food products can cause a lot of damage to our health. Very recently, a scam was carried out where expired food products were sold in the market of Nepal after relabelling their package. Criticisms were showered on Vishal group who were involved in import of those products. The food products were chocolates, chips and other such products.
Vishal Group is one of the biggest conglomerates in Nepal, immensely popular for being one of the highest taxpayers in Nepal and helping the entire country during the Covid-19 lockdown. The group has donated a sum of Rs 1 crore to the government during the lockdown and also distributed PPE kits, sanitizers, masks and other medical stuff to many hospitals.
It is quite difficult to believe that a conglomerate like Vishal group would be involved in such a scam and I’m pretty sure that just like me, there are many people who feel that Vishal group is absolutely innocent. Vishal group has denied all the allegations and the investigation on Vishal group chocolate scam is still going on to unfold new details which would help in revealing the truth.

What Exactly Happened In Vishal Group
Just a few days back, it was found that expired food products like chocolates and chips were being sold in the market after relabelling their package. This sparked a huge controversy as the public health was at stake, mainly the health of the children as they are primary consumers of food products like chocolates and chips. Vishal group's name was highlighted in the controversy but Vishal group being one of the leading FMCG importers and distributors in the country denied all the allegations.
While checking out some of the blogs and articles of Vishal group on the internet, I saw the name of an another distributor who was involved in the relabelling of products. So it is very unlikely that Vishal group was involved in such a scam. Vishal group has immensely helped the government during the lockdown by distributing masks, sanitizers and other medical facilities to various medical establishments all around Nepal.
The investigation is still going on to find out the real culprit.
