Badab e Surt | Iran (by Mojtaba Shadman Rad)
This beautiful red like mineral spring is located between Semnan and Sari near a village which is named Malkhast. These beautiful colors are because of several different mineral salts like iron and calcium salts that are surely in the way where water comes up from the source reservoir under the ground. Upper pressure and temperature of water inside the reservoir than the surface leads to crystallization of salts during cooling and specific location of spring against the local winds has made such a different small pools.

Zack Seckler Absolutely beautiful images from Botswana, the colours and patterns are breath taking. It’s so easy to forget how incredible nature can be.  7 ‘Being above the ground at such low elevations, and having the ability to precisely maneuver, was like gliding over an enormous painting and being able to create brushstrokes at will. As soon as I saw the landscape from above I knew there was potential to create a special body of work.’

Red Beach in Panjin, China
Panjin Red Beach in China is not covered in sand at all. The redness is caused by a type of sea weed, Sueda. It starts growing during April and May, then stays green during the summer, but starts turning vividly red in autumn.
The Red Beach is located in the biggest wetland and reed marsh in the world, and actually hosts the most completed ecosystem that can be found: the area has become home to more than 260 kinds of birds and 399 kinds of wild animals. You can find the endangered Crown Cranes and Black Beaked Gulls there, which is why the area is even called home of the cranes. (Source)
