Send me a shitty pickup line to see how my muse reacts!
Did you sit in a pile of sugar? Cause you have a pretty sweet ass.
Do you know what my shirt is made of? Boyfriend material.
I wanna live in your socks so I can be with you every step of the way
I was feeling a little off today, but you definitely turned me on.
Are you a fruit, because Honeydew you know how fine you look right now?
Does your left eye hurt? Because you’ve been looking right all day.
I will stop loving you when an apple grows from a mango tree on the 30th of February.
Do you live in a corn field, cause I’m stalking you.
Sorry, but you owe me a drink. [Why?] Because when I looked at you, I dropped mine.
Are you a parking ticket? ‘Cause you’ve got fine written all over you.
You look cold. Want to use me as a blanket?
Can I have directions? [To where?] To your heart.

Weekends Off *Closed*
@theforgottensentinel A few wells had passed quicker than Monta thought they ever could. His days were filled with learning and training to live as a Guardian, and he no longer needed his Ghost to help translate except for more complex conversations. As for body training, it wasn't so much that he built up his body that it was he learned to control it, not having been this large in his past. The Titan could now feel the Solar energy flow in his veins at all times, warm and comforting. Weekends were his free days though, and he often spent them among the Cryptarchs, studying extra for his language skills, and because it gave him access to data pads, and even in some cases, real books. Today he sat in the large library, pouring over two different pads and comparing them to his personal notes, scratched out in French on some scrap paper he'd traded for in the City. Footsteps could be heard approaching him, and thinking it was a Cryptarch looking for something he ignored it. They stopped behind him though, and after a moment Monta turned to see who it was. "Can I help you, Cry-" he stopped, seeing that it wasn't a Cryptarch, but a very familiar Exo Titan. "D-Drake sir, what is it? I-I did not expect to see you on a weekend." In fact, Monta almost never saw anyone on the weekends or during free time, preferring to read by himself or wander the City.

“Is no problem!” Monta said with a laugh, then switched back over to letting his Ghost translate. [Friend Rez, I do not begin to pretend to understand your situation, but I promise I do not mind you staying in here. I do not own much personally just yet, but I’d be happy to get you things so your stay is more comfortable!]
As they continued to fly towards the City, the ship shook only a few times in turbulence, and Monta was very pleased to notice that nothing had fallen off the ship while it happened. They flew quietly after that, Monta humming to himself and watching for any signs of danger.
If didn’t take long to reach the City, Monta landing in one of the many public ship stations that was closest to his home. [See? We didn’t even need to go to the Tower, unless you need to. My home is not far from here, so I will bring you commodities alright? But for now,] Monta unbuckled himself from the ship and stretched, before giving Rez a peace sign. [Welcome to your new home!]

The Ghost nodded. [I will arrange the schedule with monsieur Monta, thank you. He is quite lucky to have a mentor such as you. Let’s begin this routine starting next week? We shall see you then.] It flew back to Monta, clicking for his attention. They spoke, Monta glancing back at Drake a few times before nodding and turning to face the Exo.
“I will see you again.” Monta said on his own, accent heavy. He gave a short bow and then turned to leave the Tower, headed quickly to his own apartment in the City. Monta still felt out of place in the Tower, everyone appeared to know what they were doing there, and Monta very much did not. He didn’t understand why it wouldn’t have been easier to resurrect someone born after him, who would understand more of what was going on.
[Are you really okay with training under this Guardian?] His Ghost asked, concern laced in its normally butler tone. Monta nodded, looking forward as he walked.
“Yes, Commander Zavala is right, and you too. I need to train and learn what is happening here so I can be of use to everyone… especially the Traveler.” The giant globe was what had created the Ghosts, and in the end remade him after all. The least he could do was carry out its wishes as best he could.
@theforgottensentinel
Welcome to the Tower.
A scientist? Resurrected as a Titan? Well that was certainly unusual. Drake was quick to accept it though, having heard of stranger things. He listened patiently as the man’s ghost translated, tilting his head for a moment when Monta looked away and towards the mountains. /This man is extremely shy…/ He didn’t bother looking at the ghost as he spoke, instead watching as Monta took in the scenery and rubbed… whatever that was he was wearing. He’d have to ask him about that later.
“Let’s start by having him meet the Cryptarchs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 AM to noon. Tuesdays and Thursdays we’ll do weapon training from noon to 8 AM to noon as well. Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 6PM will be spent on physical training. Saturdays and Sundays… I’ll leave those up to him. He can have them as off days if he wants.”

Monta listened carefully, eyes glued to his translation screen. The way Rez spoke of it was rough, but it was enough for him and it shot hope and excitement through his veins. [I cannot wait to see it for myself, I've only seen photographs, and some video. Thank you. Now though, shall we head off? Be sure to strap in where you sit.] The Titan said with a smile as he stood again and made his way into the cockpit. There was a co-pilot seat if Rez wanted to sit up with him. Flipping switches and allowing his Ghost to commandeer most of the controls, Monta started the ship. The ship shook, rattled and vibrated in some areas, but soon it lifted off the ground, hovering for a moment before raising more and finally moving forward. Monta let out an excited shout. [Yes! It worked! We will head for the City, yes? I must head home soon and pay my rent, and you can retrieve or ask me to get you anything you need.] He flashed a grin back at Rez and focused back on where he was going, not daring to take the ship higher than a thousand feet. @rezragnarok

[Alright! I’ll be back soon.] Monta said through his Ghost, turning back to start his repairs. It really didn’t take long, two replacements and almost half an hour to meld the patch onto the ship’s hull. Removing his safety goggles, Monta wiped his face down and headed back to where Rez had situated himself..
Sitting down on one of the chairs next to Rez he spoke for himself. “I can… ask a question?” He Titan asked, curiosity in his eyes. His Ghost floated by just in case Monta needed his help. “You are a space man, yes?” He glanced up at his Ghost, who nodded and said [Awoken]..
“You are Awoken. What is… What is space like? I am… I have never seen it.” His Ghost told him the question was correct, and Monta leaned back, staring up at the roof of his ship as if he could see through it to the sky. To continue speaking, he nodded at his Ghost to translate for him..
[Where I am… When I am from, really, we did not have space travel. Humans had been to the Moon and were beginning to go to Mars when… when a war broke out between nations.] He shook his head and smiled sadly. [It seems silly now, yes? Now that I am here and there are Guardians on so many planets now, and civilizations have both risen and fallen and… I missed that part of history. Have you been up there? In space. Can you tell me what it’s like?] Monta looked at Rez with a twinge of hope in his eyes, the scientist heart still in him even now.

Monta looked off to the side as he read Drake’s reply, sent over to him by his Ghost. [I… I understand that death appears to be normal for many here, but not everyone always comes back.] His face softened for a moment before hardening again somewhat.
Reading the last of what Drake had to say, he steels himself and looked up at the Exo, sureness in his face. [Of course. I was a scientist before… what you call the Collapse. Research is what I do, I will study as best I can to understand this new world… and grasp your new language as best I can.] Monta said determinedly, finally letting his eyes break away from the other Titan and out at the mountains beyond the giant walls. He was incredibly nervous, not having talked like that in a very long time.
[I… I have a place in the City among its people. I was able to make some… glimmer? On my way here from my homeland. Thank you, though.] He gave a shy smile, not quite looking at Drake. His Ghost nodded at Monta. [You did very well, monsieur. That was well said.] Monta smiled at his Ghost. “You think so? I was very scared honestly.” He chuckled at that, and his Ghost turned to face Drake, giving a look that was almost like raising an eyebrow if it had one.
[I told you he is a good man. Just needs a bit of work and practice among people. What days and times should we begin meeting with you? I can organize teaching sessions with the Cryptarchs as well. I have a feeling he will enjoy them.] It spoke for Monta, who was distracted by the scenery in front of him, hand unconsciously drifting up to rub at the rosary around his neck. It was a small comfort in this new world, yes, but a comfort nonetheless.
@theforgottensentinel
Welcome to the Tower.
Booker was about to send Drake the translation for everything the other two were saying, but it seemed as though the Titan was one step ahead of him. “Not this time,” he whispered, “If he wanted to tell me something he’d have his Ghost translate.”
He led the man down the Walk, until they were at the far end by the railings. Hearing things such as rank made the man chuckle, a deep warm synthetic sound. “Death is something we live with everyday Monta, I’ve been killed a few times myself in the field. You get used to it after awhile; the only hard part is making sure nothing gets your Ghost before you come back.”
When the man’s Ghost floated nearer, he made sure to listen. It wasn’t unusual for a Ghost to share information about their guardian out of concern for them, and it seemed as though this one was no different. “I understand. Do not worry, no offense has been taken, and I’m sure our relationship will only grow.” He muttered this to the Ghost before looking over at Monta. The man’s light blush was found to be quite endearing to the large exo, a small happy hum resonating from him before he spoke. “We won’t begin any major combat training for a few weeks; right now the only concern you should have is making yourself at home here in the Last City, as well as being brought up to speed on everything that has happened in your absence, including being taught about the Light.” He looked out at the mountain range for a few moments, thinking of what else he should say. /I am not a good teacher. good teachers know what to say./ “Do you have a place to stay Monta? If not, you can stay with me at my place until you can get your own.”

[Monsieur Monta speaks in French, an old pre-Collapse language. I found him in the remains of the old country there and brought him to the City. He is slowly learning Basic, but he’s more interested in his ship and the new world around him.] The Ghost said with a sound that mimicked a sigh. Monta walked back to them, wiping some grease from his hands with a smile.
Monta began talking, his Ghost waiting a moment before translating. [It’s fine if you don’t know how to fix anything! I’m happy to have you on board no matter what. You can make yourself comfortable anywhere, I just gotta swap some parts and then cover a small hole.] The Titan laughed at that, beckoning them inside.
The ship was a mess, but a relatively clean mess. Small boxes and parts were stacked somewhat neatly and then held down with twine to prevent anything from falling while in flight. Before they reached the main cockpit there were a few other seats melded into the floor.
[I think the ship was for cargo transport, along with any workers. It’s the only thing I can think of. I found it a few weeks after I… woke up, and I guess I’ve grown fond of it!] He smiled brightly over at Rez and plopped the rag down on one of the chairs, leaning on it with an elbow. [As my first guest that isn’t Holliday, you’re welcome to anything or anywhere on here, not that there’s much. I gotta make those repairs but I’ll try and be quick about it, alright?] Monta asked, wanting to make sure it was okay he left Rez to himself while he worked.

Monta had to scratch at his chin in thought, not having thought of what to do next now that he had a new friend with him. Looking at his ship for a moment, it was a like a lightbulb went off in his head and one of his fists made contact with his palm, words of exclamation leaving his lips. Turning back to his Ghost and Rez, Monta spoke and pointed back at his ship. [He says he needs to make some fixes on and around his ship before he can even think about taking it back to the City, or Holliday will likely have his head.] The Ghost chuckled while Monta spoke, adding his own statement along with his Titan's. [You are most welcome to join him while he fixes it, it's quite a rather spacious ship, probably for cargo a long time ago, until you decide to go wherever you meant to. Or you can continue to stay with monsieur Monta? Whatever you prefer is perfectly fine with him, he doesn't wish to be a bother.] Monta gave Rez two big thumbs up with his signature grin before dragging the sled the last of the way towards to entrance of his ship, where he began to unpack all the scrap metal and parts he had accumulated on his trip. Everything would have a use on that thing. The Ghost stayed by Rez's side, at the ready to translate everything and anything. [As for me, because you asked monsieur, I will continue with my lessons with monsieur Monta. His Basic is quite appalling but we have been making progress. He's far more interesting in fixing machines than learning to talk but being able to fix things can be difficult if you can't ask for the right parts.] The Ghost make a 'tch', as if it had a mouth to use and shook it's head. @rezragnarok

One last tug of his sled to make sure nothing was loose had Monta and Rez set off back onto the trail. He kept an easy pace, not wanting to rush Rez. Having set a steady pace he started humming to the tempo of their walk, and soon he was quietly singing the same ronde he had before he first met Rez.
Unlike last time though he never got too loud, too self conscious now in the presence of another person to raise his voice much. Repeating the ronde a few times while they walked he finally quieted down, looking around and enjoying the forest scenery, along with shooting Rez a smile occasionally.
“Rez… parle Basic. Monta parle Français. Rez, voulez-vous parler Français?” Monta asked with a smile. “Est is is,” he started with a laugh, swaying his head side to side, left for est and right for is as he repeated it a few times. “Est is est is est!” The Titan giggled, forcing himself to calm down despite how silly it sounded.
“Navire is ship, ship est navire. Nom est name, name is nom.” Monta went over a few more words while they walked, or pointed at something and called it out in his language, letting Rez tell him what he called it.
Time passed easily that way, walking and talking and sometimes singing from Monta’s end. Soon they could see the end of the trees and an open field, and Monta visibly brightened. “Ship!” He called out, picking up his pace a little before they finally cleared the tree line where a large ship waited.
… If it could be called a ship that is. By now it was mostly patches holding patches together with two engines and a cockpit. A small white orb floated out from an open lower doorway and flew towards them, showing itself to be Monta’s Ghost.
[I swear sir, you really should just get a new ship,] it immediately began chiding him in French, not having yet noticed the smaller Warlock by his side. [I doubt it will be able to fly much longer without some serious refurbishing from the Hangar instead of your insistent so called repairs- oh.] It finally noticed Rez, blinked and then gave Monta a look that was almost a frown.
[Oh dear,] it began in Basic. [I do so hope that monsieur Monta here has not caused you too much trouble? He is still terribly new to everything here and has hardly a grasp of our language yet.] The Ghost shook its little body/head and then flew up to Monta’s shoulder. Monta said something and then his Ghost nodded.
[I shall be translating for Monta here until he learns to speak on his own. He wishes to know if you’d like to be his friend, and that you may contact him whenever you like.] The Ghost said good naturedly, though still somehow keeping its postured voice. Monta smiled shyly at Rez when he knew his offer was stated.

Warning
Alright, I didn’t want to make this but people have to know and a few new people to the fandom follow me or need to be warned. Please, PLEASE Do not start interacting with acomedicdreg.
He is known to guilt trip people, force them to rp certain things they are not comfortable with and when someone tries to block him he harasses them. He’s manipulative as well to the point that the other person feels like it was their fault for leaving and not his.
If anyone has questions then I will answer them to my best ability but know that any anonymous messages that get sent after this, if it’s nasty, I will be posting to show exactly how bad this can get.

As soon as they left the Vanguard Hall Monta shied out of Drake's hold and walked about a pace apart from the other, hunched into himself and eyes glued to his screen and where he walked as Drake talked. Oooh, he'd made such a mistake agreeing to something like this.
"Oh Ghost, why did you let me get into this fine mess? I would have been better off in the libraries by myself." Monta said to his Ghost, self-consciously tucking a loose strand of pink hair behind his ear.
[It is for the better, monsieur Monta, that you train under a Titan of the same class as you. It will help ensure your, our, survival.] His Ghost noted in its usual tone, the same no matter what language he spoke. [What do you wish for me to tell him? Monsieur Drake did ask you a question after all.] Monta sighed, before mumbling to his Ghost as they climbed the steps with the other, neither aware that the other Ghost understood them.
The younger Titans Ghost, still unnamed, turned to the others and speak. [He really wishes that you don't mention such a thing as death, monsieur Drake, it is not fitting for one of your rank. And please, he is not worthy of being able to call himself your friend, out of respect for you, of course.] Monta's Ghost wisely added.
[His exact words are now, ahem, "please do not worry about me! I have no questions I promise, it is okay."] The Ghost did its best to mimic Monta, and it actually did pretty okay. Seeing as Monta had no idea what any of them were saying, the Ghost flew closer to Drake.
[Please forgive him, monsieur, he is greatly intimidated by your age and strength, and he is still so young here you know? I do so hope that you do not take any offense to his nervous attitude. I'm quite sure he will warm up to you, he is an incredibly friendly young man.] The Ghost reassured Drake, glancing at Monta worriedly with its little eye before returning to Monta's side, who looked up at it and then back down at the ground, ears flushed still.
Welcome to the Tower.
“Drake, you can take it from here.” He nodded in response, a hand resting on the smaller man’s shoulder and gently guiding him out of the hall. “You have much to learn, my friend. I’ll be training you of course and teaching you about the world today and about the Light. However, I don’t want you to see me as just a teacher, but as a friend. I’ll be sticking with you until my final death, I promise.” He lead him out into the Courtyard, before turning and heading up the stairs to the Traveler’s Walk, the gates already open for them.
“Do you have any question at the moment? If so, then please ask as many as you want and need, I shall answer them all to the best of my ability.”

The smaller Titan’s eyes darted across the little screen his Ghost set up, reading what the others told him. Monta’s face became one of disbelief the more he read, actually looking up at the Exo before standing up straight, snapping a salut, face flushed from shyness.
[It’s an honor to work with you, sir. Please, forgive my lack of knowledge. I am Monta, at your service sir.] His Ghost translated for him, and Monta looked at the hand Drake held out, hesitating for a moment before he took it and shook it nervously. After their introduction Monta refused to make eye contact with either of them, too shy to look at them now. No way was he worthy to be mentored by someone who was such a higher rank than him.
Turning to face Zavala he saluted again. [Thank you sir, I will preserve to not disappoint.] Monta said, Ghost giving its voice a little more perp than usual to get Monta’s point across despite his quieter voice.
@theforgottensentinel
Welcome to the Tower.
“Indeed, Monta.” Zavala replied. “As a newborn you are to be assigned a mentor; a tutor that can show you the path of the Titan, and can guide you on your journey with the Light.” At this point he gestured at Drake, who removed his helmet and placed it on the table. “This is Drake-001. He is to be assigned your mentor. He may be new to mentoring but he is by far one of the oldest Guardians here, so have no worries about his capabilities.” At this point Drake turned to Monta, holding out his hand for the titan to shake. “It’s an honor to be your mentor.” He said, his fiery optics burning brightly.  His ghost, Booker, quickly materialized and translated all that had been said to the newborn, worried that he didn’t understand what they told him.

Monta was only somewhat lost. His Ghost was incredibly helpful, but directions occasionally got lost in translation. Headed for the hall where the vanguard commanders were seemingly always stationed, he mostly knew why he was going there. Something about being assigned to a more experienced Titan and to learn from them.
The Human’s armor was off, finding it easier still to move without it and had his hair pulled back into its normal stick out ponytail. Monta had, in fact, been practicing his English and could successful greet anyone at any time of day.
Entering the hall his Ghost materialized next to him, ready to translate anything. Walking towards Zavala, he glanced over and saw a large Titan next to him. The other seemed to command a presence and Monta immediately ducked his head down, self conscious and blushing somewhat. “Are you sure this meeting was for me, and not another?” He whispered under his breath to his Ghost in French, who nodded back. [Of course, I am sure. They addressed you specifically, monsieur Monta.] It replied in his own tongue.
He peeked up at Zavala, who was looking good naturedly down at him with a soft face. “You summoned me, Commander?” Monta asked very quietly, Ghost easily translating.

Drake didn’t get requests from the Vanguard often. Most of the time it was him going to them for work. This time was different. This time was special. This was something Drake hadn’t done before, which made him both nervous and excited at the same time.
He was going to be the mentor for a newborn.
The Titan’s name was Monta. The man was a natural Sunbreaker, much like Drake, and had been through hell and back to get here. Apparently he was from France, and had had to use improvised armor and broken down ships to practically crawl his way to the Tower. Impressive, to say the least. Apparently he didn’t speak a lick of English though, which would be a problem.
“Booker, you can speak French, right?” He asked his Ghost, who materialized in front of him, his black shell twittering about. “Of course I do. Why do you ask?” “Because our newborn speaks only that. I wanted to make sure that you could translate.” “Drake, we’ve known each other since the Collapse. If I didn’t speak something as simple as French, I’d make for a very poor Ghost.” The Titan laughed at that, Booker de-materializing into his armor.
His Ghost spoke up again one more time before going silent, “I’m assuming we’re meeting this man in the Hall of the Vanguard?” “That is correct, and we’re almost there.”
