ooookayyyy lotsa stuff happening around here.

Party went real north, and now Thorn’s rallying dragons to?? attack the Stronghold?? like, Princess Burn’s stronghold. something about her dragonet being dragonetnapped?? I thought she meant Qibli, but he’s still here?? does she have another one??

obviously I’m not joining the attack, I don’t really think I have the skill set they’re looking for. hopefully they survive though, because honestly I wouldn’t bet on it. I trust Thorn, but isn’t this a lot?? doesn’t this count as being involved in the war??

I don’t know anymore. I’ll try to keep this thing updated.

What type of stuff do SandWings eat in the Scorpion Den?

lots of things!! Lizards are pretty common, but they aren’t all that large. good street food though!!

burrowing owls can be a bit hard to hunt, but they make decent meals!! except I think they’re too cute to hunt them myself, so I don’t know many recipes that use them…… I’ve heard their eggs aren’t half bad!!

camels and ostriches are more standard meats, seeing as they’re both pretty sizable, but I also see jackals a lot!! or I did before I moved out here……

the Den doesn’t really have space to keep domesticated animals the way I’ve heard of MudWings keeping cows, so we make do with what we can find in the wild. and ostriches are stubborn things!! you’d think they would learn to hide from dragons, both they just shove their heads in the sand!! not that I’m complaining!!

party tonight!! personally, I’m very excited for it. I don’t really get out much besides my market stall…… but it’s great to see something positive around here!! I’ve heard dragons theorizing it has something to do with that funky dragonet from a few days ago??

probably Princess Blaze?? I’ve heard she stays in the IceWing Queen’s palace, maybe I could be a guard there. it’s not like Princess Burn’s troops are ever gonna get that far into IceWing territory anyway with how cold it is. and the IceWings don’t really make attacks either. the desert is too hot for them.

YES!! she stole from my stand earlier while I was distracted by the newcomer. grabbed two lizards and ran off!! we’re all just trying to survive, but if she didn’t have anything to pay, she could’ve asked at least!!

Have you always lived in the scorpion den? Or did you live somewhere else and then moved there?

I’ve been here for a while!! But I grew up in one of the oasis towns nearish to the palace/stronghold……. thing. I think I was around 8 or 9 when I left?? trying to get out of Princess Burn’s whole…… war…… situation.

we've got a new arrival at the den!! weird dragonet with no tail barb. she looked a little small to be on her own?? but maybe that's just me. I think she said something about looking for Thorn??
