what happened to circus lion's ear?

It is a sentient frosted animal cookie and it regularly eats pieces of itself! Its ear is the one area I have decided to show a prominent bite mark on, other ones are healed or omitted from current artworks. It is able to reach its mouth to its ear because it is a contortionist clown who follows cartoon anatomy and physics rules so it can basically stretch and fold its body in ways u couldnt even imagine 🎪

i'm having a lot of fun finally allowing myself to be free and self-indulgent... oc world where all of the characters are inspired from different aspects of myself and i can make half of them lions if i want to and i can do whatever i want :) the world is beautiful and you can do what you want forever

Does Tom dye his hair frequently or does it just magically change over time/whenever he feels like it?

i haven't properly decided yet, but i think throughout his life he's dyed it himself a few times for fun, but once he enters the circusworld his hair occasionally changes color magically/out of his control :)

THIS JUST MADE ME REALIZE HES THE ONLY HERBIVORE ANIMAL IN THE CAST HELP. And of course half of them are lions because they're my favorite animal and I do what I want with my oc project. #lovewins

does Carousel eat meat??

He is capable of it but prefers not to! In the universe of these characters, it is not abnormal for any species to eat meat and feral animals exist alongside animal people just as feral animals are to human people in our world. Carousel would eat meat if it was served to him, but would not seek it by himself.

The characters of this world are all simultaneously running both a hotel AND a circus and they are basically nonstop working😭 poor guys. These are their hotel job positions:

🎩The Ringmaster: front desk check-in (hotel owner)

🎪Circus lion: elevator and luggage (bellhop)

🎠Carousel: corridor guide (leads you to your room) + room deliveries and cleaning

🌼Andy: production of food and amenities (delivered by Carousel)

🌊Bay: lifeguard (hotel pool)

🌟Star lion: electric and heating power

🐱Tom: esteemed guest

HI OZ :) thank you for asking!!!! I want to be able to talk about my ocs more......recently I've been trying to think of a world for some of my clown themed characters to reside in. Specifically my carousel zebra oc would be a main character who works at the 'clown hotel' and guides guests inside, but the whole thing would be very nonsensical and the rooms of the building would be weird, things like being full of water, way larger on the inside, or always changing. I think the idea is that the carousel zebra has resigned himself to a life of walking down the hallway every day to do tasks and routines (the hallway would be circular like a carousel btw) and he doesn't ever realize on his own that he's trapped himself in a loop. I'd want there to be another character who is initially a guest being guided by the zebra, but they would show him a way out and eventually guide them both to the exit. That's what I've been thinking about :)

totally random question out of curiosity: what are the characters' favorite/comfort food or drinks?

ohhh i've planned a few of these but not all!

Tom likes bagels, cooked/smoked/raw fish, and eggs. He tends to prioritize buying cheap food and familiar/easy food.

Bay/Bubbles likes raw fish, sweets, and salty crunchy snacks. She will try other foods if it's necessary but has strong preferences and prefers to stick to safe foods.

Andy likes fruits, cheese, and bread. He refuses to eat most foods unless he has personally grown them in his mind garden.

The Ringmaster likes sour and salty foods, but they will try just about anything, especially if someone else prepared it.

Circus Lion considers itself a predator and will play with its food and pretend to hunt it, even if it is already dead. It favors meat and sweets.

Star Lion is fed by laughter and reassurance from the audience of the circus. (It tends not to follow as many biological rules or rules of reality when compared to other characters)

Carousel.... I would say crunchy vegetables and frozen fruits/vegetables for the texture. It probably also likes plain sugar and salt in small quantities (like a horse....).

just to clarify why do andy and carousel hate each other? and what does everyone else think of this?

essentially, their most basic character traits and strategies for dealing with life are reversed.

carousel's main trait and behavior is persistence/fighting/working hard, and going forward no matter what and despite any physical discomfort he may suffer. this comes at his own detriment when he injures his body by not allowing himself to rest therefore causing it to be more and more painful when he forces himself to walk forward. On the other hand Andy is the worlds laziest guy who will give up at the first sign of difficulty and he would rather escape any instance of discomfort by ignoring reality and staying stagnant within his room/mind. this harms him because he cannot face reality and is stuck in a cycle of weakening his own body by only resting and worsening his own pains through inactivity.
