I’m stuck on this show and fond enough of Goemon to be inspired to draw him. but not so overly attached to him that I get weird art block and avoid him you see . that’s the secret. Plus the character design is SO good i love working with it. Why is he so long. He’s perfect

Using tracing techniques to get out of art block and learn the csm art style 😋 It’s really motivating to have something come out so pro looking - I copied from a pro after all. It’s teaching me new line art techniques. Which I have felt REALLY lost about for ages now. Plus a nice creative springboard to fill in “outside” of the panel. Also served as a template to figure out what pens on procreate I ACTUALLY like for line work lol and to practice changing my line weight in some areas and see the effect (like thicker hard outlines and thinner fold lines), which I also REALLY needed guidance on. It was so worth it
