We would like to thank everyone who applied and expressed interest in joining our community. We received an overwhelming number of applications, and while we regret that we weren't able to invite everyone this round, we hope to be able to invite you in the future. We'll have more open acceptance periods in the future, so keep an eye on this blog and look for our ads in the rp circuits for a chance to join us in the future.

can i ask what the general vibe you’re aiming to create on the site is? i’m definitely interested in joining, but the general community you’re hoping to create is a big factor, so i was curious on what the admin’s view on that was!

Hey nonny! This is a great question. We're looking to create a welcoming, relaxed community filled with writers of all activity levels. Somewhere that is safe, comfortable, and stress-free where you want to write and engage with the community at whatever level feels best to you.

As a staff team, we have plans on how to achieve this already, but it's important to us that our members want to achieve this with us. Which is what we hope our application questions help to highlight! This is kind of a big question, so if there's anything in particular you're looking for, let us know and we'll do our best to answer.

when do you think you'll do a second round of applications?

We're not sure yet! It will depend on how many of those invited stay with us through the initial joining period, as well as how our first planned site events go. But we'll announce future rounds here on the blog, and you'll see our ad on all the normal advertising hubs when that period opens.

Up to 30 members. We're not capping the overall number of characters, and members can create up to 15 characters each. Though, if you can keep up with that many, we will ask your advice on time management 😳

How many applications have you received so far? No pressure if you don't feel like making that public!

We won't be making the number of applications public, but we will say that we've received enough that we won't be able to invite everyone who applied during this first round. But even though we won't be able to invite everyone, we'll keep your applications in our inbox so it's easy to reapply during future acceptance periods.

if we get accepted, how long do we have to make our characters or decide that we want to stay?

Accepted members will have two weeks from the time the application period closes to express interest in creating a character within our community. If it has been over two weeks and you have yet to create your character(s), you will be removed from our discord server and any accounts you have made will be marked inactive, which restricts access to the forum to ensure our community stays semi-private.

No. If you take a look at our face claim list, you’ll see a variety of ethnicities represented. -- I mean... I looked and it looks an awful lot like most if not all of them are Kent in contradiction to your answer.

Your inability and lack of effort to even try to recognize other East Asian and Southeast Asian claims speaks volumes. Regardless, we're not here to police our members' choice in claims as long as they fall within our rules and are written with respect. If this bothers you, do not join our community—we do not want you. Turn around and find another site more in line with what you're looking for.

We will not be answering any more messages like this, as it reeks of racist sentiment. Our community and our game's setting are welcoming to characters of all ethnicities (which shouldn't need to be said, but here we are).

I didn't really see another way to contact admins but your claims code breaks the skin on mobile (face claim, etc).

No. If you take a look at our face claim list, you’ll see a variety of ethnicities represented. Members are free to make any ethnicity of character they wish. If you have an issue with seeing korean characters (or any ethnicity of character) please do not apply to join us.

what will the on-site applications be like free form-wise? As long as the word count is met can we write it how we want using the fun codes too. for any of the sections can it be brief/a summary? in other words, we won't have to feel like we need to over-detail the history and we won't feel like we need to write a biography or psychoanalysis? if that makes sense :)

Hey nonny! You can do your character applications however you want. We ask for a minimum of 250 words in your freeform to get to know your character, and something in your connections that other members can use to interact with. If that means you want a deep dive into your character's psyche, go for it (but please don't make the admins read a novel we don't have time for that). Or if you want to bullet point the important bits, totally fine too! We're not picky.

If you take a look at our member list, that should help give you an idea of what we're looking for, too. The staff and our beta testers are still working on our character apps, but there are quite a few finished characters already. And most all of them should be done by the time we send out our first round of invites on the 1st to give new members a better frame of reference!
