How to Make Money Online Without Wasting Too Much Money
Tumblr media
Are you wondering how to make money online? If you are new to making money online and is wondering how to do so on a budget, then you must read this article so that you will not end up wasting too much money.
First, you should treat your online venture like a business. If you want to earn a great income online, you need to work on it as though it is a business. Treating it like a hobby won't get you anywhere i waste so much money.
Second, you need to get the right education. Most beginners make the mistake of jumping from opportunities to opportunities. This literally means that they wasted their money on many programs. You only need one good program to start making money online. If you cannot make one good program work for you, there is probably no point purchasing another make money program since you will probably be getting the same result.
Third, you need to have the right mindset. Even the best program need some time and effort for it to work. Don't expect to see result right away. Too many people jump from programs to programs because they didn't see the result after one week. Well, if you are working on a program, you should give it a month. Don't give up so easily.
Fourth, don't believe that you can make money fast without any skill or without putting in any effort. A lot of scams capitalize on people's greed and laziness. That is why so many people fell into scams. Of course, don't feel bad about it also. Just like you, I fell for a lot of scams too!

How to Entertain Children on a Road Trip
Tumblr media
Family road trips are a great and often inexpensive way to spend vacation time with your children. However, they can also be immensely aggravating for the entire family when your children start to get bored and restless. As an avid road warrior and a parent of three young children, I've been through numerous ups-and-downs while traveling by car. As a result, I've mentally developed a lot of "lessons learned" when it comes to hitting the highway. Here are a few of my tips for helping parents and kids survive - and enjoy - a great road trip.
1. Break up longer trips into small sections. If you can limit your time on the road to 5-6 hours a day, you can save yourself a lot of stress. Getting to your first stop will also give you and your children some time for play and relaxation. Many children can't sit in a car for hours on end, then go straight to bed in a strange hotel room. So try to stop before you are too tired, so that everyone call relax and have fun before bedtime road trip with mom.
2. If you will be stopping for the night before your final destination, pack the bare minimum for a single night in a separate bag from your main luggage. This way, there's less to carry into the hotel, and also less stuff to climb over while you're in your room. When we travel, we pack a pair of pjs and a single change of clothes for each child and minimal toiletries (their toothbrushes are important to remember!) in a duffel bag. It's much easier to deal with for a single overnight hotel stay than bringing in a large bag with our entire wardrobe for the trip.
3. If your children argue over a particular seat (or row of seats in the minivan), set up a schedule in advance so that everyone considers their time in the special seat to be equal and fair to everyone else's time. It can save a lot of arguing over who sits where after each stop you make.
4. If there is more than one adult and extra room in the back, sit with your children for at least part of the trip. They may feel that they don't get enough attention from Mom and Dad if you're both in the front seat, having a conversation that doesn't include them.
5. Stop at rest areas whenever possible, not just for a bathroom break, but also for snacks. If the weather is good, it's also a great chance to let kids stretch their legs and get rid of the restless energy from sitting all day. Bring along a soccer ball or frisbee and let them play near a picnic area for a bit. It helps stretch cramped muscles, relieve stress through recreation, and simply breaks the monotony of being in the car.
6. Cultivate a knowledge of great road trip games. Some examples are finding license plates from every state, looking for all the letters of the alphabet (in order!) on road signs, and looking for fun shapes in clouds. You can find a huge selection of car games for kids by doing a simple online search, and if you add one or two new game ideas to each trip, you'll keep the selection fresh and more exciting for your kids.
7. Make a sing-along CD of the kids' favorite songs, and have a family karaoke-style sing-along as you head down the road. Include age-appropriate CDs made for kids, but try and find some that you can enjoy too. One great line to consider is "Kidz Bop", which features remakes of well-known pop songs with children singing along. We also have made a CD of songs that our family likes to "perform" on the Band Hero video games.
8. Get each child an age-appropriate activity book and pens/pencils/crayons. Coloring books are great for toddlers, older children may like multi-game books, and teenagers often enjoy crossword puzzles or Sudoku (at least, if they're trapped in a car without a phone or game console)! With smaller children, it's a good idea to limit their time with crayons and pencils though; don't let them get so bored that they start drawing on the inside of your car!
9. Get a portable DVD player if your vehicle doesn't already have one. Bring along a few of their favorites, but also pick up a new movie from the store or the local video rental place. Try NetFlix if you travel often; you can keep your selections as long as you want, so you don't have to worry about due dates and overdue fees. You can also check out DVDs from many public libraries for free.
10. Pack low-sugar snacks to keep hunger at bay without causing a sugar rush and the inevitable crash. Small bags of baby carrots, apple slices, or air-popped porpcorn ease a rumbling tummy. Healthy snacks are also important if your children tend to snack when they are bored rather than just hungry.

How to Make Super Easy Orzo Pasta Salad
Tumblr media
This quick and easy recipe for orzo pasta salad makes an elegant and enticing garden-fresh salad that is loaded with bright, summery color and flavor - making it the perfect summer side dish.
A sophisticated pasta salad that looks and tastes like one of those fancy gourmet deli salads, this one is miles ahead of that rubbery tri-color pasta salad we've all seen again and again  pasta salad
This no-mayo pasta salad is also safe for picnics, beach trips, boat rides and relaxing backyard BBQs with friends and family. Kid friendly too!
You can even make this one ahead as it holds up well once assembled.
Try this orzo pasta salad for your next summer fete and see if you don't get rave reviews!
This orzo pasta salad is one of my go-to recipes when I need to bring a summer salad or side dish to an outdoor event. Easy to make and beautiful to serve, this one is always a hit.
The recipe calls for orzo pasta, a small rice-like pasta that holds up exceptionally well in cold salad and absorbs the flavors of the dressing and the other ingredients without getting mushy or chewy. Ripe but firm cherry tomatoes bring a sweet summery taste. Use plenty of fresh basil and parsley for color, subtle flavor and brightness. Small bits of crumbled feta cheese add a welcome saltiness that perfectly suits the al dente pasta. A light toss with a good quality Greek vinaigrette dressing is all your need to bring the flavors together and keep the dish moist and delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 lb. ( a box) of orzo pasta
6-8 oz. of organic feta cheese (avoid the processed crumbles for best flavor)
A very large handful (2 cups) of gently torn fresh basil leaves, (don't cut it or it will bruise and turn dark)
A large handful (1 cup) of fresh flat-leaf Italian parsley, rough chopped.
A pint of cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half
1 cup of a good quality Greek vinaigrette, home made or bottled, with extra as needed.
Plenty of fresh-cracked black pepper
1 heaping tablespoon of salt for the pasta water
Directions
Rinse the herbs and the tomatoes and set on paper towels or linen to dry completely.
Put a large pot of water (4 quarts) on to boil. Place a small-holed collander in the sink.
While the water is heating... tear the basil by stacking the leaves, same side up, and gently tearing off thumb-size pieces from the stack. If the leaves are small, use them whole. Set aside.
Rough chop the parley leaves and set aside. Discard the stems.
Slice the tomatoes in half and set aside.
When the pasta water is at a rolling boil, add a generous tablespoon of salt and drop in the orzo. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook according to the package directions until just al dente (still firm).
Drain the orzo in a collander and immediately rinse with plenty of cold running water to stop the cooking process and rinse off any starch from the pasta. Drain well.
Place the drained pasta in a large bowl and gently toss with 1/2 cup of the Greek dressing until thoroughly mixed. The flavors in the dressing will be absorbed by the still-warm pasta as it cools. The oil in the dressing also keeps the pasta from sticking together.
Cover with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap down over the pasta in the bowl. Allow to cool completely in the fridge.
When the pasta is cold, add the tomatoes, the basil, and the parsley.
Cut the feta into 1/4 inch slices and then use your fingers to crumble the feta into pea size bits. It's a messy process but worth it to use the non-processed feta! Add plenty of fresh-cracked black pepper and toss well until everything is nicely incorporated. Adjust the amounts of the ingredients to your taste. You shouldn't need to add any salt as the feta is very salty and the pasta has been flavored during cooking.
Add the remaining 1/2 cup of dressing and toss well. If it is too dry, add more dressing, a splash at a time and stir it in well. Greek dressing is quite strong and it should just compliment the subtle flavors of the salad, not overwhelm it. Don't drench the salad in dressing. It should be moist but not soggy.

The Web's Impact on the Cost of Education
Tumblr media
In light of recent economic times, it's clear that education remains one of the most important factors for our society, which can light the way for a brighter future. Yet, while there are a few Bill Gates & Steve Jobs out there who can blaze their own trail without completing their formal education, the majority of the US population absolutely has to be educated to truly thrive in American society.
However, despite the ever-increasing demand for educated professionals in our society, the cost to educate our population continues to escalate higher and higher, making it less desirable to those who are considering higher education. As costs continue to soar, there has been one saving grace that has made a big impact on helping students keep their costs down, the World Wide Web.
Thanks to free online marketplaces, students have found ways to communicate freely and find the most affordable books, furniture, and materials in their respective regions. No longer do the prices have to be dictated by the businesses and corporations that provide educational resources at physical bookstores all over the country. Plus, thanks to the younger generation's captivation with the web, there are more and more free sites that are popping up across the country, as more students develop forums and marketplaces to discuss and sell their school supplies and other products cost of education.
Plus, the free & open forum of the Internet has made it easy for students to communicate and discuss where to find the best school materials around, without having to buy into educational company's advertising campaigns.
While it's quite true that social media has become a powerful tool for educational companies to advertise their products, the recommendation of a friend or a fellow classmate still holds much more resonance over buying decisions, and will continue to do so, allowing free online student marketplaces to thrive.

Gift Ideas For Teenage Boys
Tumblr media
Anyone who has ever shopped for a teenager knows they are very picky and getting the right gift can be a challenge. This is usually true for boys than it is for girls. Teenage boys are often already set in their ways and finding a present that is just right is tough. While they are not yet grown men, they are no longer playing with toys from their childhood. If you are stumped for the right present for the teenage boy in your life, there are a few cannot miss options that will have most boys jumping for joy. Most young boys are interested in the Army, Navy, and Air Force, even if it is just leftover intrigue from the days of playing with GI Joe action figures. If this sounds like your favorite young man, consider military gifts. Things like military decals and stickers give them something to slap on text books and notebooks to show their patriotism gift ideas for teen boys.
Other boys are huge sports fans and there are nearly limitless options for sports related gifts. Consider giving them a personalized jersey with their favorite team's logo on it. If they have a favorite player, get them a replica jersey for this player. Autographs are also a huge hit for kids of all ages. If you think they might like an autographed item, give them a framed photo or signed ball or pieces of memorabilia. Be sure to get a certificate of authenticity with the item, as well as a way to display the item in an attractive manner.
Most kids love video games, and many teenage boys are as enthusiastic about video games as they are about anything else in their lives. You can choose one of the hottest new games on the market, or if you really want to go all out, give them the most updated gaming system. There are often accessories that go with games and systems, so if you are looking for something a bit more affordable, consider giving them something to improve their play or make it possible for them to try a new game.
Perhaps the time in our lives when we are most passionate about music is during our teens, and most teenage boys have very specific music interests. Options for boys who love music include fan gear, concert tickets, CDs, and music downloads. Remember it can be tough to keep track of what your teen boy already owns, so try to find ways to let them pick their own songs or give them something you can have a few of, like band t-shirts.
Your final option for present shopping for a teenage boy is to give them a gift card. Some people may think this is a cop-out, but the truth is, adolescent boys are hard to please. If you give them a way to shop for themselves, they are sure to pick out something that will make them happy. If you are in doubt, give a gift card so they can choose their own present.

How to Find Low-Cost Accommodation Facilities/Hotels?
Tumblr media
One of the things you need to plan for when travelling is a place to stay. Many exciting trips have ended badly due to the wrong choice of accommodation. The high cost of hotels is one reason most travellers end up compromising on the quality of lodgings they book, but this need not be so. You can easily find an affordable place to stay whether you are travelling alone or with family.
By cutting down on the cost of accommodation, you can save a lot during the trip. The idea here is to find an affordable establishment without compromising on comfort and safety. Below are some low budget ideas on saving on accommodation when you travel low cost movers :
Compare Prices Online
There are many comparison websites that can help you get a good deal including Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz among others. By first comparing rates on these platforms, you understand which price range you are going to work with. It helps you get a realistic quote against your budget.
Flexibility on Travel Dates
One of the most important factors when looking for any bargain on a hotel during travel is being flexible. You can use Google Hotel Finder to identify the best time to stay at a particular area. For a leisure trip, make sure you have different dates to work with.
Search for Hidden Discounts
Many establishments have special discounts and if you don't ask about them, you might never enjoy them. For instance, veterans and senior citizens are given lower priced packages and it is important to confirm from the managers if such deals exit.
Use TripAdvisor
The best thing about TripAdvisor is the fact that you can narrow down on price and location preferences. What's more, you can read online reviews about any facility you want to book.
Choose Unique Lodging Options
If you are serious about finding an affordable deal for your stay when travelling, it is time to try new ideas. These include hostels, coach surfing, staying with relatives, Bed and Breakfast, temporary rental, housesitting in exchange, home exchange and farm stays among others.
Truth be told, finding cheap and high quality accommodation is not easy, but with a little creativity, it can be done. You need to leverage the broad reach of internet technology to find out all options available. You should also read reviews and testimonials from other travellers to find the most affordable place to stay.

5 Minute Meals
Tumblr media
5 minute meals are simply meals that you really do cook, but they go together fast. They may not all be 5 minutes from beginning to eating, (you can't even do that with a frozen pizza) but these meals are extremely quick and convenient.
(Here's my personal definition of a 5 minute meal: it's all about the assembly time. If I let something cook in the crockpot all day, I don't count that towards my meal-prep time because I'm not standing over my crockpot. I count the food assembly time, because that's what really counts when you're busy.)
Wanting to improve the nutrition of the meals you serve your family? You can make 5 minute meals healthier in a snap 15 minute meals.
So what's the catch? No catch, but there are some simple secrets you need to know to make 5 minute meals work for your busy life.
Start with standing in your grocery store's bottled sauce and dressing aisle. These are 5 minute meals waiting to happen! Pick out your favorite flavors. Try some new tastes. Look for the low-fat or non-fat varieties and you'll keep added fat and calories to a minimum.
Think in terms of adding cooked meat to these 5 minutes meals. You can buy precooked chicken, for example, or for more savings, you can buy hamburger or chicken parts (I prefer skinless, boneless chicken breasts) and cook all your month's meat at once, then refreeze in individual meal portions. This will save you a lot of time in the kitchen.
Precooking your meat makes whipping up 5 minute meals a snap. Simply grab a precooked meat packet from your freezer, add a bottled sauce you love and heat. If a bag of frozen veggies would work in your meal, add that, too (you may need more than one bottle of sauce depending upon how much food you are preparing). Otherwise choose a bag of premade salad as an easy add-on for healthy veggies.
If you would like more ways to whip up 5 minute meals, see the author's resource box at the end of this article.
Once you decide upon the flavors and 5 minute meals you enjoy most, keep a list of these fast meals in your pantry. Your job is to always keep the ingredients for these meals on hand. So whenever you pull one of your favorite sauces out of the pantry, be sure and write it down on your grocery list so you'll replace it on your next shopping trip.
5 minute meals are fast, easy, convenient and can be healthy, too. Your family will gobble up these yummy meals leaving you more time to do other things you love.

Traveling With Kids - It's All About Planning
Tumblr media
Traveling with kids can be fun and rewarding. It is all about planning. Here are some tips:
Develop the checklists
Before you pack, put together a checklist for each person traveling. The checklist should consist of all of the things the person will need during the trip. Take into account the weather, the activities the person will have, the events the person will attend, and the length of the trip all about my mom.
You can help the big kids packing for themselves by giving them their own checklists. When they are done packing, you can go through the checklists with them again to make sure everything is packed. For the younger kids, in addition to their clothes, diapers, baby food, gears and gadgets, don't forget to bring medicine for them as well. Tylenol or Advil would come in handy when it's 1:00 AM and your child has developed a fever after a day at the water park, for instance.
We all know during the trip, unless we're camping in the woods, we can always go and buy things that we forgot to bring. However, why should we spend more money and time to buy things that we already have at home? A well packed trip will help us save money and time and minimize stress or frustration.
Plan for the activities
If your destination is not family-friendly, you can make it family-friendly. It's all up to you. You can plan ahead the activities for the kids, the places for the family to enjoy meals together, and/or the events suitable for all ages. Activities for kids don't have to be at an amusement parks or kids club; in fact, a day at an all-natural quiet beach can fascinate the kids and imprint in their minds good memories.
The internet is a great source to look for activities, events, or places to spend time with your kids. If you can't find much information via the search engines, you can always post your questions on the online forums, the locals will be happy to provide you valuable information.
If you're going on a cruise, check and see if they offer kids club. Beside of Disney Cruise Line, Carnival is also reputable for its outstanding kids programs.
Plan for traveling time
I have to admit the technology has made parenting easier. I'm not talking about having the technology babysit the children. When it comes to those long-hour flights or road trips, movies and video games are big saviors.
If you prefer not to let your kids watch movies or play games, you can prepare a couple of family games to play with the kids on the plane or in the car to kill time. Younger kids can play with new toys or color new coloring books. Please note that the toys or books should be new to keep the kids interested and busy longer.
Cure the hunger
As a mother, my biggest fear is to see my kids hungry or cold. I panic when their stomachs growl while I don't have food on hand. That's why I always remember to bring snacks to the hotel room. This way I won't have to rush out of bed in the morning to go get breakfast for my kids. Snacks can't replace the nutritious breakfast but at least it can help relieve the hunger for awhile. Anyone with more than one kid would understand getting everyone ready in the morning is like moving the whole circus company; it can take up to hours. Anytime during the process of getting ready, someone can easily pop up and say, "Mommy I'm hungry." That's when you panic and wish you have just a few crackers on hand.
Of course you can always order room service from the night before; but room-service breakfasts at some hotels are ridiculously expensive. Some hotels serve free breakfast in the lobby, but if you don't want to scare people by appearing in the lobby in your lounge gown with no make-up and flat hair, you'll need to get up extra early to get ready to go fetch breakfast before your kids wake up. In the event you're the only parent traveling with young kids, you can't leave them in the room by themselves. So please remember to leave some snacks in your bag. You'll need them sooner or later.
Be creative
Things might or might not turn out the way you had planned your trip. Be creative and substitute things or activities you can find on the spot. For example, substitute the fridge with the hotel provided ice bucket; heat up things with hot water; use the sink or your spouse' lap as your baby's bathtub (with your spouse sitting in the water); push the bed against the wall if you forgot to bring the bed rail; use a napkin to tie up your daughter's hair during dinner if you forgot to bring her hair tie; etc.

Children generally love fun foods and they take pride in participating in preparing the foods. So why not take a dish in which your kids can provide a help to you while making the food.

Mothers Day Crafts - Create a Mothers Day Gift Wrap With Gourmet Appeal Using Recycled Grocery Paper
Tumblr media
Have you ever noticed some of the decorative grocery paper bags and thought, it is too pretty to toss out, so why not repurpose this antiqued themed paper for Mothers Day gift wrapping?  Well, those were my thoughts when I was admiring the Traders Joes grocery paper bag I brought home from the store.  The printed design featured on the side of the bag has a timeless gourmet charm that resembles stamped patterns of vegetables, fruit, wine bottles, forks and a tea kettle mothers day craft ideas.
This is the perfect project for Mothers Day gift wrapping.  It is the balance of elegant meets recycled grocery paper.
The supplies you will need for this project: ·Decorative grocery paper bag:  We chose to use a Trader Joes Grocery paper bag in an antiqued brown and barn red with a theme stamped pattern.  Note, if your gift box or package is medium or large, you will need to use more than one grocery bag. ·Fabric knit, approximately 12 inches in length:  We chose red to complement the colors in the paper. ·1 sheet of scrapbooking paper:  We chose a chocolate brown with a shimmery metallic finish. ·1 initial embellishment, adhesive backed for easy attachment. ·Craft scissors ·Scotch tape ·1 name tag ·Fine writing pen or Sharpie pen:  We chose the color white to use on chocolate brown paper. Step 1:  Using your scissors, cut design pattern from grocery bag or bags depending on the size of your gift box or package. Step 2:  Wrap and secure with scotch tape to package or box. Step 3:  Wrap Fabric knit around the center of the package, securing it by tying a bow.  If working with a small gift, tie a small bow.  If the gift box or package is medium or larger, tie a larger bow, but not too big that the pattern of your paper will not be visible. Step 4:  Using your craft scissors cut a a small section from your scrapbooking paper and fold in half creating a small tag  that can be lifted up.  Craft scissors add a nice decorative trim to the edges of your card. Step 5:  Next, attach the elegant initial embellishment to the front of the gift tag.  If it does not already come with an adhesive on the back of it apply craft adhesive glue stick to it. Step 6: Address the gift tag, using a lighter colored pen on dark scrapbooking paper and a darker fine point pen on lighter paper.

House Cleaning Schedule
Tumblr media
Whether you don't find pleasure in cleaning or simply feel overwhelmed by the thought of tidying up your place, creating a home cleaning schedule is the answer. A cleaning schedule is an organized way of house cleaning. You wouldn't have to think of what needs to be cleaned today, tomorrow or next month. The checklist can point out the areas to tackle for a given day and what type of cleaning needs to be done daily cleaning schedule .
In creating a house cleaning schedule, identify which chores need to be done daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally. Break down your cleaning tasks into manageable chores grouped according to frequency of cleaning.
Daily To-dos. These are cleaning chores that need to be done on a daily basis.
1. Straighten your bed. As soon as you get up, why not make your bed? Then you never have to think about it again the rest of the day. 2. Wash the dishes. Dirty dishes can attract all sorts of insects depending on where you live. Bacteria and germs can also breed on unwashed dishes. 3. Tidy up. Don't leave things strewn all over the place. Clean or pick up as you go. If you have kids, tell them to put up their toys or art materials after use. Books should be returned to the proper shelf or magazine rack. Clothes and shoes should never be used as decorative accents around the house. If you want, schedule picking up just before lunch, before dinner and before going to bed. 4. Take out the trash. Clean out the trash cans daily to prevent any unpleasant odor and to keep insects away.
Weekly Chores. Perform weekly chores on the same day each week.
1. Vacuum and mop the floors. You should perform these two tasks one after the other. Choose a day when there is least activity in the home. Don't forget to include the kitchen floor. 2. Vacuum carpets and rugs. Carpet and rugs should be vacuumed every week and more often in high traffic areas. If someone suffers from allergies in the home, you may have to do this task more than once a week. 3. Dust. The following should be dusted well: shelves, table tops, moldings, tops of doors, corners, furniture, picture frames, windowsills as well as ceiling fans. 4. Polish wooden furniture. Use wood furniture polish together with a lint free cloth to get the shine back on your wooden furniture. 5. Clean the kitchen. Make sure that the refrigerator, microwave and other appliances are wiped down. Sanitize the counter as well. 6. Clean the bathroom. Take out the shower curtain if you have one and throw it into the washing machine. Scrub the bathroom floor, walls, toilet bowl, sink and bathtub. Don't forget to wipe the fixtures and the bathroom mirror. 7. Change and wash bed sheets. Sheets should be changed and washed weekly. 8. Wash windows. Using old newspaper and water is a great way of cleaning windows on the cheap. However, you can also use commercial glass cleaners if budget is not a concern. 9. Wash and iron your clothes. Your laundering and ironing schedule actually depends on how many live in your home. The lesser number of people, the fewer times you have to launder and iron. If someone's clothes are stained, immediately apply a stain remover and wash the item.
Monthly tasks. There are cleaning tasks that can be done once a month.
1. Clean the refrigerator. Wipe the inside of the refrigerator and throw out expired or spoiled food. 2. Clean the oven. Use an oven cleaner to clean baked on food. If your oven is rarely used, you can move this chore to the seasonal cleaning list. 3. Vacuum the couch. If your couch has a slip cover or removable cushion covers, launder them. Your couch accumulates dirt and dust so vacuum it once a month. 4. Wash curtains. Curtains are dust magnets. Make sure to wash them at least once a month. 5. Others: Change air filters, check the batteries of smoke alarms, clean light fixtures, wipe down doors, do some gardening, etc.
Seasonal jobs. These are cleaning chores that can be done between longer periods of time. Seasonal cleaning jobs are usually done every quarter, twice a year or annually.
1. Clean out closets, pantries and drawers. Identify items to donate, recycle, reuse or throw away. Also clean out your garage. 2. Vacuum mattresses. Apart from vacuuming your mattresses, you may also need to turn them. Instructions for turning a mattress are found on the mattress tag. 3. Launder pillows and cushion. Wash your pillows and dry them. 4. Others: Clean walls, baseboards, gutters, roof, patio furniture, ceiling fans, vents and more.
The house cleaning schedule above is not written in stone. Each house cleaning schedule is personal and will depend on the size and design of your home, if you have pets, your personal schedule, as well as the schedules of the other people who can help you with these chores. Develop your own daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal cleaning schedule. You can write them in your planner. For monthly and seasonal cleaning jobs, use an electronic calendar to remind you when a task is coming up. House cleaning is not necessarily enjoyable. However, by breaking the tasks down into manageable pieces, cleaning tasks become less daunting and more doable.

Can You Sell What Money Can't Buy?
Tumblr media
I was on a flight from Singapore to Bangalore (India) recently on Singapore Airlines, and I was travelling on Diwali (or Deepavali, as it's spelt in Singapore), a major Indian festival leading to the Hindu new year.
In most flights, most airlines will do their very best to reduce your inconveniences for your journey. However, for Singapore Airlines, they do whatever it takes to make sure you have a great, enjoyable trip. The airline provided what was to me the best South Indian food I had in years, when most airlines are struggling to provide decent food. They made some great authentic Briyani rice where you can really taste the fragrant of the spices in the rice. The masala tea they served is as good as the one I had in the 5-star hotel I stayed when I landed. Their Diwali-desert-special is simply heaven.
This is truly a 5-star hotel in the air, and I'm just flying in Economy class. Indeed, some experience that money can't buy Things Money Can't Buy .
Another example of selling something that money can't buy is Ascott the Residence. The Ascott is a premier, leading global serviced apartment provider. To make their long-stay guests feel more at home, they organise get-together cocktail parties for the breadwinners, shopping trips for the homemakers and baseball competitions for the kids.
The thing that money can't buy isn't so much these free activities that the Ascott provides. It's the sense of community or the home-away-from-home feeling that their guests experienced during their stay. Imagine that if you are out-stationed for a couple of years in a foreign country with strange customs and you don't speak the language. You will treasure every chance you have to chat up with others of similar cultural background as you are, and the Ascott does whatever it takes to make sure you feel at home during your entire stay.
Is this concept of "what money can't buy" confined to just the luxurious services industry? Fortunately not.
Air Products is a leading provider of merchant gases, i.e. they provide industrial gases for manufacturers (or even hospitals) who buy the gases (pure nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen etc.) in small quantities. In the past, they just supply gases-in-containers. Now, they are exploring ways that they can help customers store the gases longer, in more stable conditions and administering the gases in safer ways. They are giving free expert advice to their customers that will help customers improve efficiency (i.e. save money by buying less) with their gas usage. Again, this is what money can't buy.
The question is: if you were to sell something that money can't buy, will that translate directly into more sales and profits? Yes, but not always.
What it really does is that you will get more loyal customers who are much less likely to defect when competitors are slashing prices. While new customers may be skeptical about your services that "money can't buy", existing customers will appreciate it a lot more, and are more likely to see beyond price for the value they get.
c.j. is the trusted sales advisor who have helped international companies achieve quantum improvements in sales profits in China and beyond. So far, c.j. has helped:
* A leading international hotel to produce the equivalent of an additional 5,000 room nights in China in the lull summer months of 2007 * A global leading architectural hardware company to increase the sales revenue of a key account in Shanghai by 10 times within 3 weeks * The world leader in PC sales to transform their sales force to be more collaborative and solution-focused, and helping them to regain worldwide pole position from their nearest competitor.

Romantic Birthday Ideas for Your Beloved
Tumblr media
If you want to set up the most ideal romantic birthday set up for your loved one, you have to come up with the best romantic birthday ideas and usually, these ideas would involve stressful planning, you would need a lot of time mapping it out to a T, and most of all, you need lots of money. Now, in order to hone in on the right moves and the proper setup that would seal your venture as a romantic birthday, you have to consider a lot of things, but of course, if you love the person, the effort is negligible in order to make that person happy.
The very first thing that you have to take into account would be your partner's personality. If your partner is the extrovert kind, then inviting all his friends and colleagues without him or her knowing it would do the trick, at the same time, preparing his or her favorite dish. You can also convince his friends to come up with speeches expounding on the virtues of your partner and the reasons why they are friends with him or her. If you are able to set this up, then you would be in his or her good graces forever bachelorette party gifts .
Now, if your partner is the low-key kind of person, an enormous bash would not be the appropriate thing to arrange because it may only put him or her off and it what you have prepared would not be bringing out the result that you wanted which is to make your partner happy. Here, you can invite his or her close friends and immediate family and that when implemented would really score some huge points with your partner in love.
If he or she is an athlete, run with him or her, if he or she is a musician, compose something for him ore her without them knowing it, create something that is closely related to their personality or the things that keep them occupied most of the time. You might want to set up an anime party if your partner loves anime, buy him or her a life-size replica of an anime character and he or she will hands down, love it.
If you and your partner are both adventurous, take him or her for a hike where you can spend his or her special day with the beauty of nature. Prepare your camping stuff, go out on a camping date. Or take him/her along the beach and experience sunset together. Go out on an impulse. Have an unplanned trip. Experience the hype of adrenaline with different outdoor activities. It will be your partner's most special birthday ever.
If you are working on a really tight budget, and you would not want a simple "Happy Birthday" greeting, then it is about time to expose all the creativity within you and come up with great romantic birthday ideas that would not entail spending huge amounts of money.
A dinner for only the two of you out on the porch under the moonlit night complemented with scented candles and some of his favorite food can become an instant romantic dinner for you and your loved one. A cheap champagne would do in the meantime and the idea of exerting effort to set this up is a romantic enough idea. You can even write a cute invitation letter addressed to your partner and tell him or her that they need to bring the invitation before they can partake in the dinner table.
If you want to celebrate your partner's birthday first thing in the morning, prepare a breakfast in bed. Wake your loved one with a kiss and a serving of his or her favorite breakfast with his/her favorite cup of coffee or tea. Make it extra special by having a cupcake lighted with candle. You can also prep up the bedroom the night before while your partner is asleep. Put up balloons and streamers on the wall so that your partner will wake up to a birthday surprise. Be sure to prepare the camera so you can capture the moment and your loved one's surprised face.
If you're a good baker, then make a personalized cake only for your special someone. Or send some pastries of food over the office for him/her to share with officemates. Both of you can still enjoy a hearty lunch or dinner by preparing home-cooked meals where the two of you can share together. You can also ask his/her friends to call or leave a birthday message to your loved one. Just let your creativity flow, you can still make more ways to celebrate a romantic birthday without spending too much.
You can end the day still having the birthday ambiance by pampering your partner for a relaxing night at the spa. Or if you are working on a tight budget, you can prepare for a personalized spa at home. Dim the lights and set up some aroma candles in the bathroom. While soothing your sore bodies and relaxing on the tub, talk about things that happened through the day like how your partner's birthday went. With this, you are having a more creative and romantic way of bonding with each other.
But why do you have to wait for your partner's birthday to exert an effort to make him or her feel special when you can have the rest of the year to express your affection to your loved one? Aside from celebrating special occasions today, it is way more thoughtful to surprise your partner on random days. Giving your lady love even a stem of rose on days unexpected will eliminate all the stress from the day's work. Placing a post-it note on the mirror or the fridge where your man usually goes with this daily routine will give him inspiration throughout the day. Little notes, home-cooked meals, giving massage, all these and more are the simple gestures to make your partner special not only on his/her special day throughout the year.

Revealed: 3 Offbeat Healthy Lunch Ideas You'll Want To Try
Tumblr media
How many times have you spent your lunchtime scarfing down a sandwich while checking social media or squeezing in some work?
Lunch is typically an afterthought. It's probably the least-enjoyed meal of the day. It's mostly filled with fast-food, dull sandwiches or - worst of all - a few selections from the vending machine.
And the irony is - this overlooked and unglamorous meal may be the most important meal you eat all day cheap lunch ideas for work .
Here's the thing: Historically, lunch hasn't always held this insignificant place in the day. Only a few generations ago lunch was not lunch, but dinner. The big meal of the day was eaten at noon. The noonday meal was a full spread with multiple dishes and everyone sitting together at the table. Supper, the evening meal we now call "dinner", was the afterthought - a few light leftovers or some soup "supped" down to tide you over until morning.
Power Lunches Power You Up
Years ago, when more people farmed, meals were scheduled like this as a midday refueling stop for the physically demanding work of farming. And it still makes sense for you to eat on this schedule. Most of your heavy eating should be done when you're more active. Eat more when you use more fuel. Hefty dinners come at the wrong time. At 6 in the evening, you're decreasing physical activity. Your metabolism is slowing and your body needs to relax and get ready for sleep.
Research supports this:
· A recent Swedish study found that when people with diabetes waited until lunch to eat a big meal - sometimes with just a cup of coffee for breakfast - they lost weight and had better blood sugar levels. And this was true even when the midday meal was a calorie extravaganza.[1]
· A Czech study found similarly positive results when diabetics ate only two large meals early in the day - breakfast and lunch - instead of six small meals.[2]
Many Europeans - particularly southern European countries - have kept this tradition. And some of the researchers theorize this schedule may be part of the Mediterranean diet's healthy power. Essentially, it may not be only about what you eat - but when you eat it!
While many European businesses accommodate a leisurely lunch with 2-hour midday breaks, most American workplaces don't. But that doesn't mean you should give up on giving lunch the attention it deserves. Plan and pack a meal you can sit down to and enjoy. Even if you only have a forty-minute break, make it count with some good eating. If you cook a good meal for dinner, dine lightly that evening and save the leftovers for some serious noshing at lunch the next day.
And don't be overly cautious with the calories. Of course, don't go nuts... but if you like a little dessert or want to indulge in a little extra carbohydrates, lunch is the best time of day to do this - not dinner. Similarly, if you're trying to cut down on your food intake to lose weight, save that calorie-counting for dinner. Eat heartily during the day when you need the calories to keep going. And save the forbearance for your evening meal when you're about to go to sleep. It's also much easier to ignore your tummy rumblings at this time of day.
Need some help in making lunch more nourishing? Here are a few unique lunch ideas to put in your lunchbox. In addition to being supremely nutritious, they are simple to make and take. You can make a big batch over the weekend that will last for several days. And most of them are easily portable, needing only an ice pack for refrigeration.
If you really want to spruce these dishes up, sprinkle some chlorella granules and make these super lunch ideas even more stupendous!
Get Going With Power Greens!
Greens mean "go" when it comes to getting energizing. If you're particularly tired at work, a fresh salad with some good protein and fats can be one of the best pick-me-ups. And when it comes to super greens, kale is pretty pumped! With vitamins A, C and K, kale also helps your body detox and keeps inflammation down thanks to its isothiocyanates and kaempferol.
To make a nice salad, simply chop up some kale and then build on it. To balance kale's slight sharpness, add some creamy cashews, sunflower seeds or mozzarella cheese. Toss in some shredded carrots or chopped apples to sweeten things up. Boost the protein with some chopped eggs, leftover chicken or chickpeas. Finally, top it off with your favorite dressing. Slightly sweet dressings - like a balsamic vinaigrette or a Caesar dressing with honey - bring out the best in kale.
Try Sardines For A Change
The good ole tuna fish sandwich has lost its luster thanks to the concerns about mercury in tuna. But don't despair if you're a fan of this easy reliable lunch... Sardines make an outstanding replacement. Sardines are second only to chlorella in nucleic-acid concentration. Nucleic acids are a powerful anti-aging nutrient, essential for cellular reproduction and tissue repair. In addition, sardines also offer a nice dose of omega-3 fatty acids.
How to prep them? Simply open a can and then mix with chopped red onion, your favorite herbs, a little pepper and a dash of mayo. Combine the mixture together with a fork and spread on your favorite whole grain bread. If you want a slightly different taste, try smoked sardines. Add some tomato slices and mozzarella cheese and you've got a sandwich fit for a king.
Dal Is Never Dull
Move over hummus... there's another staple bean dish that combines delicious spices with outstanding nourishment. In India, dal is eaten with just about every meal - and for good reason. The beans provide a fiber-rich source of protein and a good supply of vitamin B12. And they're cheap! But it doesn't end there - the well-spiced deliciousness takes this solid lunch to a whole new level.
Best of all, dal is simple to make. Bring 1 cup of split red lentils (also called masoor dal) to a boil with 3 cups water, a few slices of ginger and some turmeric. Then lower to a simmer as the beans thicken. When the beans are cooked to the consistency you like, stir in some onions and garlic sautéed in butter, a little garam masala and cumin. Some people like to add even a dollop of cream. Then salt it to taste.
Serve yourself a generous bowl with some brown rice, cucumber slices and perhaps a little spicy mango pickle and you'll awaken your senses for the rest of the day.
How To Make The Most Of These Lunch Ideas
The benefits you get from your diet come from when you eat as well as what you eat! But they also come from how you eat it...
You may not be able to take a full two hours to lunch at leisure and enjoy a 4-course meal. But you can still get more out of your lunch by shifting how you eat your lunch.
Get away from your desk if you can. If you can't, at least shut down your monitor and put your phone away. Don't squeeze in a little work or social media time while you're munching...
Enjoy your lunch and take your time to chew, enjoying the nourishment it provides. Devote this time - however much you have - to refueling and savoring the experience. By doing so, you'll be able to return to the afternoon's responsibilities with more power - just like our farming ancestors did.
