Hero from DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition joins the battle! (Part of Challenger Pack 2 paid DLC*).

New stage: Yggdrasil's Altar*

New Mii Fighter Costumes*

A new Online Tourney and Event Tourney mode

A Support feature where you can predict who will win during Spectate; if you guess correctly, you can get "prediction points," which can be traded for in-game items.

Expansion of the Edit Video feature. You can now use videos and screenshots.

A Very Easy difficulty in Adventure mode.

Final Smash gauge now times out.

*Full version of game required to use DLC (sold separately).

The latest update (Ver 3.0) is rolling out on April 17th, 2019.This update includes:

• Joker from Persona 5 and a new stage called “Mementos” (part of Challenger Pack 1 paid DLC*).

• New Mii Fighter costumes, available as paid DLC*.

• A new Stage Builder mode: Create your own original stages and then play on them.

• A new Video Editor mode: Combine video clips into new videos.

• A new Shared Content mode: Browse videos and stages posted by other players around the world!

• Smash World, a new addition to the Nintendo Switch Online™ smartphone app.

Today's Fighter #26: Mr. Game & Watch When using his side special, Judge, this fighter pulls out a hammer and the numbers 1-9 are displayed. If you pull off a 9 attack, it will really knock the opponent back. His Final Smash turns him into an octopus that can pull opponents off the stage!

Today's Fighter #24: Mewtwo A Legendary Pokémon known for its technical moves. Use Confusion or Disable as a diversion, then land a Shadow Ball! For its Final Smash, Mewtwo transforms into Mega Mewtwo Y and fires a projectile that freezes and launches the opponent!

Today's Fighter #25: Roy Get up close and personal for major damage! Unlike Marth, Roy's attacks are more powerful the closer you get to the base of his blade. For his Final Smash, his sword bursts into flame and sends anyone caught in the blast flying.

Today's Fighter #05: Yoshi Yoshi is all about egg-related moves, like throwing eggs, swallowing opponents and turning them into eggs, or turning into an egg and charging toward an opponent. With a high jump, recovery is a piece of cake for Yoshi! And for his Final Smash, a Yoshi army stampedes through the stage.

Today's Item Flies & Hand Assist Trophy Flies buzz around the stage, and a hand holding a fly swatter goes around swatting up a storm. Getting caught in the swat-storm will cause severe damage, so think like a fly and run away!

Today's Stage Suzaku Castle This stage has a large platform on the right and two smaller ones on the left. Depending on your fighting style, you might prefer one side over the other. This stage comes with music tracks for 16 characters. When the clock starts running out or if your stock goes down to one, the music may get more intense!
