Colton continued to bob his head to the music that was playing. His feet tapped against the floorboard under his feet, moving a little to the music that was playing. “I love music. It’s always nice to play music when it’s quiet,” he confessed. “I hate sitting in silence..”

Ruby let the music continue to play, her dancing had slowed though getting a bi tired from it all. It had been a long day moving in and such. “Me either, I almost always have either my radio or Tv on.” she stopped dancing to catch her breath “I think I need to tap our for a moment. I’m going to grab something to drink and a sack would you like something?”

Colton wasn’t the greatest fan of pop music. He was one of them people who claimed that he wasn’t like everyone else and liked his own genre of music, but he didn’t want to know the petite blonde haired femme. “Mainstream music has always been popular,” Colton concluded. 

Ruby knew her taste in music wasn’t for everyone and she had gotten used to it. “Pop can get a little repetitive though” she shrugged “That's why i try to listen to new things. That way I’m not stuck listening to the same or similar songs.” A smile returned to her lips “And that’s why I like having dance parties with other people because they play different songs for me. Switch things up!”

“Do it! They have some pretty good songs out,” Colton confessed to the other, giving them a small smile. “What type of music are you into, Ruby?”

“Will do!” She nodded making a mental note to do that later that night. “Pretty much anything I can dance and sing to. But I mostly listen to radio hits and pop”

Tia couldn’t argue with that, although the only person she’d ever danced with wasn’t exactly a “person” so much as an imaginary friend (not that it’s something that she talked about with just anyone). “Oh, of course, I’m fine. Really! You look like you’re having fun though, so don’t let me stop you!” 

Ruby retracted her hand and soft smile curled on her lips, however it was dripping with concern. She didn’t want to offended. “well I will be over her if you want to join, or if you would like someone to join you in the garden I’ll gladly help! I’m Ruby if you need anything!”

Colton thought about what he wanted to listen too and decided on the sound by The 1975. “Have you heard this one before? It’s pretty upbeat and fun!” He confessed, dancing again, moving his hips from side to side.

Ruby tilted her head and listen, still dancing to the beat “I think I have, its been a while but I do kind of recognize it!” she smiled brightly. She jumped to the beat of the song “I’m so adding this to my playlist!”

Her redness just made her stand out all the more, and it was cute in an endearing and very darling way. “Always refreshing to see that kind of confidence!” Bob said, confirming his accuracy in giving her the nickname of superstar. Her brightness was infectious, and it lifted his spirits up even higher. “Bright fame, huh?” he echoed, turning it over in his head. “Then that means you better keep me close ‘cuz I might just be your lucky charm, then, superstar,” he commented quickly, his smile getting wider. “Can’t be a superstar if you aren’t famous, after all—or is it the other way around?” Scrunched eyebrows made it look as if he was thinking deeply about this, but the mirth in his eyes made it clear it was all in good fun.

Ruby tried to high her shyness as best at she could. There could be none of that when she became a superstar. “I try my best” she said with a smile. “Mmhmm” she continued to dance with her new friend “Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere, you’re stuck with me.” She giggled softly. She paused for only a moment “I think it might be the first one. You can be Famous and not a superstar but you have to be famous to even think about being a super star” She resumed dancing without a single thought.

Her giggle inspired him to chuckle himself, as if inspired by how easily she just accepted his request and his sudden acceptance of her invitation to dance. As the beat began to crossfade into his requested song, he felt the thrum of the music course through his veins. “Ruby because you’re such a precious thing?” Bob asked smoothly, smile still on his face. He took her hand and danced with her gleefully. “The name’s Bob—just Bob. No precious stones here, unfortunately, superstar.” The nickname slipped out unexpectedly. He didn’t quite expect that from himself, but he found that it fit. 

Turning back to him, dancing along to the music, but not wild enough that she could still talk to him. Her cheeks flushed moving to her ears, She was certain her looked at red as the apples around them. “Quite! I always have been” She beamed trying to recover. She held on to his hand making sure it wouldn’t slip away. “Bob” she echoed .”Well it might not be a precious stone, I do recall reading some where that it means bright fame!” She smiled at her new nickname.

“I don’t know about  being a popstar but I’m always up for a good dance party. Makes a girl feel free!” Giggling along with the girl, Labelle shook her head. “The music is just perfect! Keep it going!”

“you definitely look like one! you’re stunning!” Ruby smile as the complement Escaped her lips. “as you wish!” she went to turned the volume up letting the playlist continue.
