Newcastle Corporation Tram 114 (1901). 1900's Town, Beamish museum. by Martin Geldermans Via Flickr: On the way from Harwich to Aberdeen for a holiday with family, we spent a day at the Beamish Museum near Newcastle. A large open-air museum with various landscapes, streets from various periods and many means of transport such as buses, trams and (steam) trains. This day several trams and buses were running, but unfortunately the locomotives were not under steam. A beautiful museum, which we will definitely visit again.

I seem to disagree, yet I appreciate the intention for caution.

I feel like the more frequent problem is artists or rebloggers/curators to present material not appropriate for a general audience environment and publish it in places it does not belong or under unsuitable general audience content ratings on the basis of "it isn't porn, therefore it's appropriate for all ages and settings".

On the other hand, I've seen the argument "all TF art is porn, therefore I'm going to reblog/link to a G rated art of a kid morphing into a vaporeon and playing at the beach alongside XXX rated content" and reject any notion that there's anything wrong with that, since in their eyes, its all equally fetish content.

I think a number of people who may have never had the chance to operate in the pre-internet world don't understand the extent to which transformation/metamorphosis existed as a archetype outside the context of fetish material.

For me, the idea that all transformation related material could or should be considered inherently NSFW in nature invalidates my lifetime of having been fascinated with humans becoming animals, monsters, aliens, and other creatures, as early as the age of four or five years old, and it's really messed up I risk in sharing silly poems and stories I've written in appreciation for enjoying similar things when I was a kid, that those things might be lumped in with kink material.

i think it is possible to for a person on an individual basis to not view tf that way, and that is fair! however, i think anyone creating tf stuff needs to be aware of the context they are making their art in. tf art made because you think turning into a big dog is hot can be indistinguishable from tf art made because you think that turning into a big dog is cool! i feel the responsible thing is to generally treat tf art as at the very least something suggestive, if not mature, even if you don't feel about it that way and act accordingly when posting it?

Old pic from my core adventure team in my mystery dungeon adjacent canon.

Characters from left to right: Lito, Cirami, and Raél. They have all appeared at least once in some of my drawings, and are part of a character roster I plan to fit into future projects.

Above them are their names written in the scripts of the countries and peoples which fit their origins the best. Lito is written in imperial Koganese, Cirami in Eastern Leaf script, and Raél in ancient Narinic, a forgotten late-period human alphabet.

I recently picked up this Arithma Addiator, a pretty slick mechanical adding and subtracting machine with carry feature. In production from 1920 until the early 1980s.
