Hiiii~ I love hearing other people's vampire lore! Do your vampires have special abilities outside of being undead/immortal? Did any of your ocs have friends or family before they were turned that they lost or had to leave behind? Do any of them regret being turned?

My vampires get more agile and powerful as they age, along with sharpening their senses and making them better at "mesmerizing" their prey. It's why coven leaders can push around their spawn, especially if said coven leader is a couple hundred years older.

Their strenght does also depend on if they get regular meals and whether any of those meals include blood from powerful vampires (it's why vampires like Klaus and Heike can push Diederich around despite being about the same age, Diederich hasn't gotten the best meals).

Getting older also means needing to eat less as their own blood gets more concentrated. Bereket only really hunts once a month or so because he's a millennia and a half old.

Many of Eckharts spawn were chosen specifically because they'd have little to no family or friends who'd care to lose them, but that doesn't mean it always goes smoothly.

Julius still misses his monastery buddies, and sometimes thinks about his life if he hadn't joined Eckhart as basically a teen.

Adaline misses her mom, but knows she's better off being a vampire. (She was supposed to marry a guy she didn't really know or like to "save her image". Being with Klaus is much more pleasant, despite all the fuss it caused at first)

Gawen has actually tried to track down the lineages of his community members, but he's not had much luck.

Diederich was hastily turned by Leon, after a couple months of being together. Diederich doesn't have too many people he *misses*, but he's kind of had a shit time being a vampire so he sometimes wishes he wasn't one. He persist though, mostly out of spite and a general fear of death.

Bereket occassionally misses being a carefree young man but definitely doesn't regret being a vampire. He's seen so much art and gained so much wisdom.
