Thanks for asking. Yes, I do have international readers (and listeners, now that I have a podcast). The responses are generally favorable, especially in the UK. There are some critical responses that call my work “typical of the US”.

How do you keep up with everything? You're always on top of the latest crimes

I have been able to expand TattleCrime from its humble beginnings and employ a researcher and two additional writers. This became a real need when I expanded out to a podcast.

I also have contacts in law enforcement.

Freddie shook her head and typed quickly.

I didn’t do anything that I’d qualify as nursing. I kept him breathing. That was it. I don’t think that I needed to be commended.

I got my story. I’m actually working on a book about my experiences coinciding with the Chesapeake Ripper case, including being held hostage by Dr. Gideon.

personally, i think you would have been a better parent figure to Abigail than Hannibal was, Freddie

Freddie raised her eyebrows slightly, then typed her response.

I think that Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham used Abigail Hobbs. She didn’t need the man who had killed her father to step in and try to replace that father. She needed stability. She’s old enough to take care of herself. I’d rather be her friend.
